Berserk God of War

212: Chapter 212: Let’s Go, Kill Yang Tianmo 212: Chapter 212: Let’s Go, Kill Yang Tianmo In the Long Night Empire, Sikong Jing had to find his sister Ling’er, even if it meant death.

She had left words in the coffin, saying she would always wait for him.

How could he then disappoint her?

Sikong Jing’s gaze was firmer than ever as he stared at the Ice Burning Flower bracelet that belonged to his sister, Sikong Ling, looking at the Cold Pearl she had left behind which would become the clue to finding her.

Then, Sikong Jing handled the corpse of the Blue Cold Snake, whose inner core and other parts were rare treasures.

However, Sikong Jing was already in the Desolate Realm, so the items from the Blue Cold Snake were not of much help in enhancing his power.

Before returning to the gravesite, Sikong Jing saw the blood and flesh of Town Chief Fu Cheng scattered all around.

He thought he should thank them, for without them, he might never have discovered that his sister was still alive.

Years ago, when it was bitterly cold and his strength was still weak, he had not noticed the chill emanating from his sister’s coffin when he moved it; had he noticed it then, he might well have turned into snake excrement for the Blue Cold Snake!

Suddenly, Su Yuexi asked, “Brother Jing, do you think your parents might not be ordinary people either?

Otherwise, why would both you and Ling’er have such strong martial arts talents?”

Sikong Jing shuddered at this, then said, “Let’s go, go back to my place and see.”

With that, Sikong Jing took Su Yuexi with him and left the Small Mulberry Forest, soon arriving at the home where he once lived with his parents and sister.

But at this time, it was surrounded by people from Xiaosang Town.

There were also some guards mixed in, each holding a torch.

Since the people of Xiaosang Town knew that Sikong Jing had become a general of the Dynasty, the Town Chief had used fine stone bricks to enclose his home and had even built a Sikong Mansion for him.

Sikong Mansion had thus become the largest building in Xiaosang Town, luxurious and majestic.

At that moment, a person who looked like a general stepped forward and said to the crowd, “Sikong Jing has betrayed the Great Shang Dynasty, and his crime is unpardonable.

Now, everyone take a torch and burn down Sikong Mansion for me.”

“Burn down Sikong Mansion…”

The crowd waved their fists, each taking a torch from the surrounding guards, then poised to throw them inside Sikong Mansion.

However, just at that moment, Sikong Jing descended from the sky with Su Yuexi!

“If it must be burned, burn it after I leave.”

Sikong Jing’s deep voice resonated, his eyes sweeping across the crowd with profound mockery.

But at this moment, he was not as furious as when his sister’s grave had been desecrated but carried deep derision instead.

“A wall falls and everyone pushes,” he knew this truth better than anyone.

“Sikong Jing!”

Upon his arrival, all the guards and townspeople cried out in shock.

The general among them even fell hard to the ground, utterly stupefied!

He was the City Guard General of the city where Xiaosang Town was located, and like Town Chief Fu Cheng, he had come specifically to burn Sikong Jing’s home to ingratiate himself with the Dynasty and those above him.

But he had never expected Sikong Jing, who was supposed to be in Yunzhou, to suddenly return home!

Wasn’t he being hunted by the entire Dynasty?

Bang bang bang bang…

As silence enveloped the scene, Sikong Jing casually waved his hand and extinguished all the torches, then swept around them once again and said, “Remember, burn it after I leave, or your fate will be the same as Fu Cheng’s.”

Then, Sikong Jing, holding Su Yuexi’s hand, turned and walked into Sikong Mansion.

“Brother Jing, why are these people always so excessive?” Su Yuexi said with red eyes.

Sikong Jing’s lips curled slightly as he shook his head and replied, “It doesn’t matter anymore.

Yang Tianmo is the Emperor of Great Shang, and controlling people’s hearts is easy for him.

Why would I care about such trivialities?”

“As long as they don’t touch what’s important to me, let them be.”

People like Fu Cheng had triggered Sikong Jing’s wrath, and thus they all died, but those outside were merely misled.

The real mastermind was still Yang Tianmo.

His sister had resurrected, and Sikong Jing, having advanced in Martial Arts, began to perceive things differently as he slowly ascended to higher places.

Seeing her husband so indifferent, Su Yuexi also relaxed.

The home where Sikong Jing used to live was still in the back courtyard of Sikong Mansion, and it still retained the appearance of a small wooden house.

Upon arrival, he gently pushed open the wooden door, and everything inside was neatly organized.

This was sorted by Sikong Jing himself after he returned to his hometown.

“My father and mother told me when I was eight that they needed to leave for a while.”

“They asked me to take good care of my sister and said they would come back soon to pick us up, but once they left, they disappeared without a trace.”

Sikong Jing stood inside the small wooden house, softly narrating.

At that time, he did not know where his parents had gone; he thought they might have died hunting in the mountains or were killed by bandits along the way.

But now, reminded by Su Yuexi, he felt that things were probably not that simple.

He had become the Great Merchant Invincible God General.

And his sister, because of her strong Martial Arts Talent, was resurrected and taken away by the powers of the Long Night Empire.

Martial Arts Talent is closely related to bloodline inheritance.

It could be said to be a mutation in someone, but for both a brother and sister to have strong Martial Arts Talents, that is hard to explain simply by mutation.

Coupled with the fact that their parents were not native to Xiaosang Town, Sikong Jing increasingly felt that his parents were not simple figures, but he had previously checked everything in the wooden house and found no clues whatsoever.

“Let’s try searching again.” Sikong Jing started searching inside the house again.

Meanwhile, outside Sikong Mansion.

“The Town Chief is dead, everyone is dead.”

From afar, a chilling and terrifying voice could be heard.

Several townspeople came tumbling and running over, saying to everyone, “Around the graveyard of Sikong Jing’s sister, there were only chunks of flesh and blood, along with the clothes worn by the Town Chief and the others.”

Buzz!

Upon hearing this, everyone’s mind felt as if it were struck by heavenly thunder, and their faces turned pale.

These townspeople had just heard Sikong Jing say that if someone dared to burn down Sikong Mansion now, they would end up like Fu Cheng did, so they hurried to his sister’s grave to see.

And what they saw terrified them into soul scattering.

“Demon, Sikong Jing is a demon, let’s run!”

Someone first exclaimed, and then the entire scene dispersed like birds and beasts, vanishing without a trace.

Even the City Guard General and other leaders ran away, and soon, the area around Sikong Mansion was silent as a ghost domain.

Inside the small wooden house in Sikong Mansion, Sikong Jing sighed deeply to Su Yuexi, “As expected, there are still no clues, let’s… leave.”

With that, Sikong Jing summoned the Flying Blood Colorful Winged Horse, mounted it, and flashed away from Sikong Mansion.

From the sky, Sikong Jing stared deeply at the small town where he had lived for twelve years, watching the townspeople fleeing and others; he couldn’t help but mockingly smile once more, his so-called hometown no longer held anything worth cherishing.

All the items that should be taken from the small wooden house were now on him.

For example, the books read by his parents and the toys he and his sister played with when they were little—things worth cherishing, Sikong Jing took them all.

From then on, he would probably never return.

“Brother Jing, are we going to Great Shang Imperial City now?” Su Yuexi asked.

Sikong Jing nodded deeply, his voice carrying a faint chill, “Yes, we go now to kill Yang Tianmo, to leave a perfect finish before we leave Canglong Domain.”

With those words, Sikong Jing disappeared into the sky above Xiaosang Town.
