Berserk God of War

225: Chapter 225: General Ning Apologizes, Sword Slays Sun Gan 225: Chapter 225: General Ning Apologizes, Sword Slays Sun Gan Both Su Zhenglong and Sui Yu felt that Sikong Jing was too impulsive, too overconfident.

From a distance, Xia Dalian slightly frowned and secretly communicated with the genius of Xia Country, “He clearly had the upper hand, why be so impulsive?

Sun Gan is a master of the Innate Second Realm.”

The genius of Xia Country sneered back, “Your Highness, Sikong Jing is just too arrogant.”

“He thinks he is invincible in the Canglong Domain and can be invincible in the Long Night Empire as well; such a person will only die very fast.”

Is that really so?

Xia Dalian’s face was full of doubts; according to her understanding, Sikong Jing was not such a person.

The murderous intent in Sun Gan’s eyes flashed wildly as he immediately stepped forward and said, “General Ning, I am willing to have a duel to the death with Sikong Jing.

I am not one to tolerate false accusations, please allow it, General Ning.”

Ning Jingjing closed her eyes deeply; she felt her face burning hot.

Now she naturally understood that Yang Tianmo’s words in that state were absolutely credible, but she had previously believed Sun Gan and had even reprimanded Su Yue Immortal and others.

She had judged wrongly, terribly so!

And yet, Sikong Jing, under clearly evident circumstances, destroyed the evidence; did he not trust her to uphold justice for him?

He didn’t trust her anymore, which caused Ning Jingjing an unexpected pang of discomfort.

Opening her eyes, Ning Jingjing replied, “Fine, let there be a duel to the death.”

At this stage, Ning Jingjing had no choice but to agree.

But after a slight hesitation, she again looked at Sun Gan and said, “You suppress your realm to the same level as Sikong Jing.”

At these words, Sun Gan was directly stupefied.

Previously in the Golden Soul Palace, even with his full strength, he couldn’t easily kill Sikong Jing and had even been injured by him; suppressing to the same realm as Sikong Jing, wasn’t this like sending himself to death?

“To prevent Sun Gan from forcibly increasing his realm during the fight…”

“Elder Wei, put a True Qi Lock on Sun Gan, lock it at the Desolate Realm.”

Then Ning Jingjing added another sentence forcefully, and after speaking, she fixed her gaze deeply on Sikong Jing.

This was showing goodwill to Sikong Jing, and also a sort of indirect apology for previously blaming Su Yue Immortal and Sui Yu among others.

Without waiting for others to say more, Ning Jingjing turned and prepared to enter the cabin; she didn’t want to stay here.

Previously, she had really lost face.

However, just at this moment, Sikong Jing calmly said, “No need, killing a suppressed Sun Gan holds no meaning.”

The moment the words fell, Ning Jingjing suddenly turned around, staring intensely at Sikong Jing.

She was extremely annoyed in her heart; did this bastard want to force her to apologize in person?

If the realms weren’t locked, with his strength at the Desolate Realm, he was clearly no match for Sun Gan, unable to withstand even a single blow.

If this wasn’t forcing her to apologize, what was it?

Thinking this, Ning Jingjing gritted her teeth and said, “Sikong Jing, I admit I wronged you and your family; I, Ning Jingjing, am willing to own up to it.

I apologize to you now, I’m sorry.”

Having said that, her chest heaved uncontrollably; this was the first time she had apologized since joining the Long Night Black Burning Army.

And the subject of the apology was someone from the Canglong Small Domain.

“Now the duel to the death is also called off; bring me Sun Gan!” Ning Jingjing shouted forcefully again.

Instantly, Black-armored Soldiers rushed up and directly detained Sun Gan.

Then, Ning Jingjing again stared at Sikong Jing and said, “Are you satisfied now?”

Having said that, Ning Jingjing turned to leave…

“General Ning, have you misunderstood something?”

Sikong Jing’s voice came from behind her, he then said, “I didn’t mean to force General Ning to apologize; I just wanted to challenge Sun Gan at his full strength for a duel to the death.”

Having said that, Sikong Jing pointed his sword towards Sun Gan, who was still struggling.

The audience was stunned again; Sikong Jing had truly gone mad.

“In the Golden Soul Palace, I lost to him, and now I want to get even; I just want to kill him with my own hands,” Sikong Jing’s voice rang out again as he steadily walked toward Sun Gan.

Elder Wei couldn’t help but step forward to persuade, “Sikong Jing, General Ning has already apologized; let’s not make any more trouble.”

He also believed that Sikong Jing hadn’t vented his anger yet and was forcing General Ning to bow once more, which was too much.

Even Elder Wei didn’t think Sikong Jing genuinely dared to challenge Sun Gan.

Ning Jingjing took a deep breath, staring at Sikong Jing with flames in her eyes.

“Fine, but these are your own words; if you lose, I won’t save you.”

“Release Sun Gan!”

As soon as she finished speaking, Sun Gan was set free.

Ning Jingjing shouted again, “A duel to the death, if Sun Gan wins, let bygones be bygones!”

She was furious inside, thinking, ‘I’ve already apologized, yet you still pressure me; well, don’t blame me for being rude.’

‘Soon, I’ll make you, Sikong Jing, bow and beg me to spare your life.’

“Ha, hahahaha…”

Hearing this, Sun Gan burst into laughter, astonished by the unexpected turn of events.

Initially, General Ning was about to deal with him, but Sikong Jing, not knowing better, angered General Ning.

As long as he kills Sikong Jing, he’ll be free of trouble.

Yan Ruyu smiled, Ning Wenguan smiled, and all of the Black-armored Soldiers who were close to Sun Gan laughed…

The genius of Xia Country looked towards Xia Dalian, sneering repeatedly.

“Your Highness Princess, Sikong Jing really thinks he’s still the Invincible God General; he’s really overstepped his bounds.

Now, I bet he regrets it deeply.

General Ning even gave him a way out and he refused, choosing his own doom.”

Xia Dalian’s mouth twitched.

Had Sikong Jing really forgotten who he was?

However, at that moment, Sikong Jing, with no trace of fear, pointed his sword forward, and in a low voice declared: “Dark Wings, Black Burning Sword!”

Without any further words, dark sword light ignited in the sword he held, emitting a sound different from that of the Long Night Black Burning Sword.

The Dark Wing Black Burning Sword…

An upgraded version of the Long Night Black Burning Sword, inspired by the power of the Fierce Beast Dark Winged Dragon’s feathers, which he had forged.

He had used it once before in a duel with Sun Gan in the Golden Soul Palace, but back then, it was just a fleeting insight.

This time, however, he had observed the Dark Winged Dragon for an entire day; it was indeed an upgraded version.

Boom!

Like black flames igniting, Sikong Jing surged forward with his sword…

His Desolate Realm had also risen three levels since the time in the Golden Soul Palace, his combat prowess was already unmatchable, fiercely formidable.

Sun Gan also struck with his sword, attacking Sikong Jing, “You dare to attack first, I’ll kill you.”

The gap between the Martial Scripture Realm and the Desolate Realm is immense.

He won yesterday, and he could win today, a hundred percent sure.

But as soon as they clashed, Sun Gan was stunned, how could Sikong Jing’s sword be so strong?

Before he could react, Sikong Jing unleashed his strongest power, the True Qi from his Dantian surged into his core, and in Sun Gan’s moment of arrogance, a series of Dark Wing Black Burning Sword moves struck…

Puuh…

The final sword thrust pierced through Sun Gan’s Black Armor, penetrating his heart, and emerged from his back.

Time froze at that moment as Sun Gan’s sword clattered to the ground, his eyes wide as he exclaimed, “No, it’s not possible!”

After that, he fell straight to the ground.

Sun Gan was dead!
