From BOSS to Canon Fodder: She is Currently Out of Service!

K3 has been online continuously; he’s attending history class today, but the content is painfully dull, so he decides to keep an eye on Su Jiameng online. It’s not that he’s freaking out, but that novel has been serialized for five to six years now, with over two thousand Chapters released, yet she’s never once written readers’ comments.

And now she’s writing them, and the content is so bizarre... How could he not be worried? Trying to contact Su Jiameng, but unfortunately, this guy is off somewhere unknown, displaying as not being in the interstellar network coverage area, aka ”out of service area”!

Actually, K3 quite admires Su Jiameng; she’s often mysteriously missing over the years, and each time she’s out of service area... He really wonders how she finds these places that aren’t covered by the interstellar network! Just thinking about it makes one dizzy!

”So... why did you suddenly leave comments after the Chapter? And the content is so...” K3 hesitates and struggles.

Su Jiameng bites her lower lip and suddenly says decisively, ”You all don’t need to worry about me. I’m really fine. I haven’t met any scumbag or suffered any emotional damage... It’s just that over the years, I’ve vaguely remembered some things from the past. But I’m still not sure; even now, the memories remain incomplete. I want to find them all back...”

”Find... memory?” Xu Na hesitantly types this message; Su Jiameng has used memory loss as an excuse to dodge them many times, so they gradually believe she indeed has amnesia, but now... she’s saying she remembers some past things?

”Yes, find them back...” Su Jiameng plans to vaguely reveal some things, after all, they’ve been sincere friends for many years, yet she’s always kept some deadly truths from them. Now, with the future uncertain, it’s better to speak some truths, ”I feel I might not be the Su Jiameng before sixteen... Based on the recovered residual memories, I am much older than that...”

Reading this line, the other four in the team chat can’t help but feel a jolt in their hearts, then stare intently at the screen, waiting for what comes next.

”I remember my name is Su Jiameng, that’s my real name, but this body is also called that name. Because of this similarity, I misunderstood my identity, thinking I was the sixteen-year-old Su Jiameng...” she continues writing, ”As for that novel, its content... might be truly happening, do you believe it?”

The four suddenly felt it absurd but lacked any evidence to refute.

Everyone witnessed Su Jiameng’s strength. During a team gathering, they proposed a chaotic fight, attacking the other four at will. But the end result turned into a one-on-four battle, with Su Jiameng taking down all four of them in quick succession.

Spiritual and physical abilities vary from person to person; there are innate differences determined by talent and later efforts, incomparable. But what about combat experience? Such fierce, bloodthirsty momentum is hard to possess without having killed or been on a battlefield...

And then there was when they first met, Su Jiameng gifted them Mecha Design Maps, is this something a sixteen-year-old girl could design? They’ve always wondered, but intentionally ignored it over various reasons, becoming accustomed to Su Jiameng’s anomalies over the years.

Also, the world depicted in her novel is complete and terrifyingly realistic, with technological descriptions even surpassing today’s level. Lucy’s older brother is a rising star in Mecha design, a renowned genius, and her second uncle is a master in Mecha manufacturing. Accidentally discovering Su Jiameng wrote such a novel, watching it brought him a lot of practical inspiration and ideas...

Are these... things a novelist can imagine? Of course, K3 doesn’t believe it; he wants to ask Su Jiameng, wants an answer. But unexpectedly... is this the truth unraveling all his confusion? At this moment, even the usually decisive K3 is perplexed.

Xu Lei hesitantly asks, ”So... are you saying you are... Mr. Su?”

”I’m not sure... currently, I’ve only recovered a small portion of memory fragments. The novel’s content is written from whatever my heart desires, sometimes after writing, I forget the content inside, but when I review it, it feels familiar... like I’ve experienced it personally.” Su Jiameng says, nearly revealing everything, ”There are too many memory blanks; with just these fragments, I can’t confirm anything.”

”So... you need to go find the memories?” K3 asks, ”Is there danger? Did you post those messages... because you sensed life-threatening danger, thus saying it? Insect Race, Telekinesis, war... are all real?”

”In the memory fragments, I seem to have experienced... should be real.” Su Jiameng says, ”Many novel plots, some are fictional, even I find them unrealistic, some are true, and relevant surreal fragments surface in the mind... True or false, I’ll get my answers once I retrieve the lost memories. As for danger... there will be some inevitably.”

”Will you come back alive?” K3 asked the question he most wanted to know.

”If I come back alive, will you still be friends with me?” Her friends aren’t ordinary people, their connections with the Military Department are bound to deepen... Alas, compared to her, they’re the ones truly caught in a dilemma.

”If you come back alive, we’ll still be friends. Consider today’s group chat unseen. If you don’t come back alive, our friendship ends.” K3 types this line with a hint of a smile on his lips, ”Remember you mentioned mischief lasts a millennium?”

”What Boss Qin said is what I meant... I’m totally a die-hard fan of Mr. Su...” Lucy sends a smiling face emoji.

Xu Na and Xu Lei also share the same attitude, so Su Jiameng tightened her fist, secretly telling herself, ”Definitely must come back alive!”

Just then, behind a massive trunk of an Anbola Tree, a tall man walked out, his face tranquil, eyes calmly looking at Su Jiameng, solemnly saying, ”Major General Su, impressive skills...” (To be continued.
