From BOSS to Canon Fodder: She is Currently Out of Service!

However... although there was preparation, facing this person’s extraordinarily fierce attacks, Su Yanjing didn’t know how long he could last. Su Yanjing was struggling secretly, and Su Jiameng wasn’t having an easy time either...

Fighting Su Yanjing always felt like punching cotton, an ineffectual sense as if no attack was valid. However, after a brief exchange, Su Jiameng discovered the secret and a smirk quickly appeared at the corner of her mouth.

Everyone has their own battle habits to some extent, reflexive actions ingrained in their bones, difficult to change if unnoticed. But for Su Jiameng, altering her combat style for a short moment wasn’t a problem at all.

”What’s happening?” Su Yanjing judged that Su Jiameng would use the Hotline Particle Cannon next to widen the fighting distance, but unexpectedly, what greeted him was an aggressively powerful Laser Particle Sword! The blade narrowly brushed past the joints of the mecha.

”Not a bad reaction, but it’s over now.” Su Jiameng manipulated the mecha to change directions at high speed, each attack targeting the joints of the previous mecha. The first was dodged, the second caused slight damage, and the third created a small crack...

Was this guy’s goal to completely disable his mecha? Su Yanjing controlled the mecha to dodge again; the blade almost skimmed past the control line of the mechanical arm. If it were a tiny bit closer, this mecha would lose an arm.

He glanced at the energy reserves and mecha wear on the virtual screen, wondering how long he could maintain this state. Although he wanted a fair fight with Su Jiameng, delaying was one of his objectives.

”Did you really think my target was your arm?” Su Jiameng’s eyes flickered as she smiled, saying, ”A bit naive, weren’t you...”

The mechanical arm wielded the sword towards the fiercely protected joint, and just when it was about to hit, Su Jiameng suddenly demonstrated what extreme manipulation was, switching between the Laser Longsword and Hotline Particle Cannon faster than the eye could see...

”Wrong, it’s the rock behind you!” The roaring Hotline Particle Cannon sliced through the air with red streaks, cold and sharp, targeting the same joint. Su Yanjing instinctively chose to protect it, but as the Hotline Particle Cannon brushed past his side, he had a bad thought... Could it be... he was tricked?

At the moment this thought emerged, Su Yanjing chose to flee at full speed. However, Su Jiameng wasn’t about to give him the chance to escape. All potential escape routes were blocked, no matter where he chose to go, he would be driven back by Su Jiameng.

The rock collapsed, triggering the entire Chaotic World Forest to tremble, with over a hundred-meter-tall strange stones falling and swaying, as if the whole sky were quivering.

Su Jiameng glanced at the map, noticing that fifty or sixty small red dots (enemies in red, allies in yellow) had already approached, and the arc of her smirk widened considerably, ”Although it’s not yet three minutes, I don’t have much time left to play with you.”

Should there be another chance, she would definitely have a proper fight with this guy, a straightforward battle!

With that thought, Su Jiameng piloted the Military God to leave from another direction, completely unaffected by the endlessly falling boulders. Under her control, the Military God’s frame moved like a flickering shadow, always narrowly escaping the boulders, experiencing no danger in the process.

Su Yanjing wanted to leave but found with a wry smile that the mecha’s circuitry was malfunctioning. He was having a lot of trouble operating it, uncertain of how Su Jiameng achieved it. How did she do it?

Actually, it was quite simple. Su Jiameng repeatedly attacked that joint not just to create an illusion for Su Yanjing, luring him towards that super tall rock, but also with the significant purpose of wearing down and damaging the linkage route between the mecha’s brain and its motions. Of course, such an attack wasn’t instantaneous but required some time to effectuate...

Right from the start, she planned to trap Su Yanjing and a group of lured unfortunates to their demise! And to have them exit the chaotic battlefield by being crushed directly by the boulders! Before she destroyed the rock, those people had already entered the Strange Stone Forest and were very close to her. Currently, the raw recruits couldn’t escape the coverage of the Hotline Particle Cannon.

”Holy crap! Did I fall into a trap?” The unfortunate ones rushed over eagerly, wanting to kill Su Jiameng here, but frustratingly found they hadn’t even glimpsed Su Jiameng’s shadow before being inexplicably bombarded with numerous giant stone high-altitude attacks.

The ground shook with every step, more intense than the most severe earthquake.

”Ahhhhh—who the hell did this here, don’t they know it’s dangerous, so sneaky—”

”Damn, aren’t there way too many rocks here...” one member complained, caught between frustration and distraction.

Su Jiameng watched with satisfaction at the gathering of small red dots, smiling, ”Tsk tsk tsk, are you scared just by this little scene? The real treat hasn’t even appeared yet. If you’re like this now, can you still play well afterwards? Two more seconds...”

After two seconds, even the Iron Lion Team, very far away, could feel the ground tremble slightly, ”What’s going on? Did a big explosion happen somewhere? This kind of power... it clearly exceeds the firepower range of the Restricted Mecha Order...”

Su Jiameng looked at the giant mushroom cloud of dust rising in the distance, whistling cheerfully, hoping they wouldn’t die too terribly... oh, getting a whole body intact would be nice...
