From BOSS to Canon Fodder: She is Currently Out of Service!

Actually, what Su Jiameng is more worried about is whether the members of the team named ”O’s and X’s Need Protection Team” are actually a bunch of shady uncles who have shrunk in size? Who would dare to have such a ridiculous name? Aren’t they afraid of losing face...

”Hmm... If I form a team, I guess I need to name it too?” Su Jiameng had already made up her mind to just gather a bunch of extras, heading into battle alone against the entire opposing team... just thinking about it made her hands itch a little.

”Names...” Even though Su Jiameng is a total failure at naming, she’s quite keen on giving her exclusive belongings unique tags. Aren’t names just something for people to call out?

Anyway, be it flashy or shameless, as long as you have strong power and hard fists, names are futile. A good name, could it even add a halo to the team? With that in mind, she started brainstorming names.

Hmm, should it be majestic or silly? Artsy or pretentious?

After pondering for a while, Su Jiameng hesitated and thought, ”How about just calling it the ’Clumsy Life Push Squad’? Maybe the ’Queen of a Thousand Volumes Squad’ would work... or the ’Take Down All Opponents Squad’? Uh, this name seems a bit too arrogant...”

”Pfft—” Just as she was racking her brain for a suitable name, a stifled laugh came from behind the bench. Su Jiameng turned around displeased, only to see Su Yanjing, whom she had met once before, with a slight smile on his face and several mecha model dolls hanging around his neck.

”What’s so funny?” Su Jiameng was indignant. The names she came up with were very realistic, what’s so funny about them? These names took a lot of thinking and brain cells to come up with, ”Do you think the names are ridiculous?”

”No, Miss Su...” Su Yanjing was sitting on a bench back-to-back with Su Jiameng, and now he just turned his head slightly, his profile looking quite handsome... Hmm, even more so than the front view. The usually stiff lines were much smoother.

Su Jiameng twitched her lips, could this person’s lying skills be any worse? If he wasn’t laughing at the names she came up with, then what else would he be laughing at? But... are these names really that bad? They’re obviously down-to-earth.

”Watching the match?” Yanjing seemed to find twisting his neck to talk quite troublesome, so he got up and sat on the bench she was sitting on, ”Brawl?”

This is the brawl competition hall, where all the brawl matches in the Mecha Fighting Arena can be found.

Although she had no friendship with Yanjing, he had once lent a helping hand. Su Jiameng threw away her previous displeasure and said, ”Yeah, but it’s not that impressive. It’s kinda boring to watch. Just kids bickering...”

Yanjing secretly raised an eyebrow, his eyes landing on the virtual screen in front of Su Jiameng. In the lower-left corner of the screen, there was a minimized window broadcasting the match between the Iron Lion Team and the Silver Moon Team. The kids’ bickering she mentioned... couldn’t possibly refer to them?

The so-called brawl is just a game with victory as the ultimate goal; victory is the biggest goal. But Su Jiameng had never played a virtual net’s brawl competition. What she ”played” was a real war, where a person’s life is just one, and once lost, it’s irretrievable.

For someone like Su Jiameng, who rolled over from heaps of corpses and blood, those brawls were indeed child’s play. You can start over if you lose, and it doesn’t matter if you die. If it’s not a game or child’s play, then what is it?

”They’re... very strong.” Yanjing glanced at the few mecha dolls hanging on his chest. They were all super Q versions based on the Military God and Su Jiameng, his favorite works so far, ”Especially the Iron Lion.”

”Hmm, maybe.” Su Jiameng remained noncommittal, then said, ”But the Iron Lion Team is about to lose. If we’re talking about strength, isn’t the Silver Moon Team stronger? Right?”

The match wasn’t over yet, so how could she be so sure that Iron Lion would lose? Yanjing had also been following this brawl, and judging by the battle situation, Iron Lion had a bigger winning chance. This thought didn’t last long before he saw Iron Lion, which had an absolute advantage in numbers, rapidly losing members, leaving only a mere thirty to fifty... what... how did this happen?

Not only Yanjing was confused, but the audience in the arena was also exclaiming. Because just a moment ago, they saw Iron Lion’s large troop being utterly entrenched by the Silver Moon Team, and most were buried in the canyon...

The Iron Lion Team and Silver Moon Team have always been old rivals, always equally matched, yet no one expected such a reversal to occur!

”Nothing strange about it; treating a brawl as a solo match, losing is normal too.” Su Jiameng, seeing the confusion on his face, calmly explained, ”A brawl is different from a personal or small team battle. Grasping the overall situation is far more important than individual skirmishes. As they say, time, place, and harmony, the Iron Lion’s ’harmony’ was inferior, and the terrain was entirely taken advantage of by the enemy. Letting their guard down because of previous victories, forgetting that even a lion fights with all its strength against a rabbit, let alone when the Silver Moon Team wasn’t even dead yet...”

There are many reasons for the Iron Lion Team’s defeat, though none fatal, combined enough to hand the nearby victory to the Silver Moon Team. To be honest, the Iron Lion Team’s loss is not uncalled for.

However, I heard that the current Iron Lion Team wasn’t using its full elite force, holding back its strength, which is also one of the reasons for the failure.

Yanjing said, ”I see.”

Su Jiameng drank her hot beverage all in one go and tossed it into the trash, only to hear a somewhat muffled voice from the side, ”What’s to see? Xiao Jing, you skipped the match and are here talking sarcastically... Deserves a beating.” (To be continued.
