Chapter 173: Chapter 86: Jealous Robots Are Hard to Deal With

He missed the training room outside the room even more. Since being kicked out, his training had been neglected quite a bit...

Gu Ningxuan lay on the bed that felt slightly cramped for him. As soon as he closed his eyes, an endless fatigue surged over him, and before he knew it, he slowly fell asleep in the unfamiliar environment.

After returning, Su Jiameng cautiously investigated Gu Ningxuan and discovered that aside from the unknown reason for his withdrawal, his performance at school was impeccable, making him an object of admiration and emulation for many students.

In the documentation, there were two areas that were ambiguously recorded. One was the reason for his withdrawal, and the other was his background; the data on his parents and family had been completely erased, leaving a significant blank, which looked very strange.

”I don’t know if hiring this person was a right or wrong decision...” Su Jiameng mumbled to herself. Previously, she dared to hire him partly because of her appreciation for talent and partly because of her confidence in herself. But now, it seemed she wasn’t so sure.

While thinking, Su Jiameng discovered in her intelligent brain system another file sent by Su Mo, still concerning Gu Ningxuan.

She thought it might be a confidential document, perhaps revealing the reason for his withdrawal. But upon opening it, she was shocked by the listed data; this Gu Ningxuan... was truly extraordinary... His innate potential value was astonishingly high.

If developed to its limit, many Mind Power Users would seem like nothing in front of him. His spiritual and physical ability was actually a born 2S!

It’s known that currently, the limits of spiritual power and physical ability are 3S. If he uses the Potential Activation Potion at the right time, reaching 3S in both spiritual power and physical ability is a certainty, and his future achievements are immeasurable.

Unfortunately, with such a great talent, he isn’t a Mind Power User. If he were, he would truly be a genius dominating the interstellar realm.

Su Jiameng pinched her chin, feeling that the heavens are quite fair to some people. No matter how strong Gu Ningxuan’s talent is, without telekinesis, he still cannot break through the 3S barrier. If he doesn’t have an extraordinary encounter to activate telekinesis, this will be his limit.

As Su Jiameng sighed at how the heavens have been generous to her as well, she continued reading.

But when she saw the last set of data, her face turned very strange, alternating between red, blue, and black, and she swiftly closed the file, muttering through gritted teeth, ”What is Su Mo doing, recording all this gibberish, bored out of her mind, huh!”

Height and measurements she didn’t mind, as those are basic data points, but what in the world did she think putting these data here would do? Did Su Mo, this perverted clown, do something outrageously infamous to Gu Ningxuan before I came?

Imagining a certain clownish robot with a small measuring tape, grinning as it cornered a down-and-out genius...

Ahem, ahem, Su Jiameng timely stopped her wildly imaginative thoughts, fearing that if she continued thinking, she could never look at her new pitiful employee the same way again. Too world-shattering! Seeing his face would easily lead her thoughts astray...

To ensure safety, she issued a secret order to Su Mo and Changxi to monitor Gu Ningxuan for some time, treating it as a probationary observation period.

If he remains well-behaved and presents no issues, they’ll continue employing him, and everyone will benefit. If he does have problems, Su Jiameng would have no choice but to regretfully let go of this highly skilled employee and look for someone else.

”However, I am really curious, what on earth did this guy do to cause Xilena to so readily abandon such a promising student?” Su Jiameng shook her head in puzzlement.

To satisfy her curiosity, she even took a trip to Xilena’s student archive to search for Gu Ningxuan’s records. She found that besides being more detailed than her own findings, nothing had changed. The reason for his withdrawal wasn’t recorded, and details on family members were blank.

”It seems whatever he did was very serious, otherwise it wouldn’t be like this...” Su Jiameng muttered, tossing the matter to the back of her mind. She got up to take another shower, then prepared to go down for dinner.

K3 and Lucy arrived promptly to mooch a meal, and Su Jiameng was unfazed. She had Su Mo prepare more than usual and sent a portion to Gu Ningxuan, who lived next to the training room. K3, seeing Su Mo delivering the meal, asked in confusion, ”Someone’s living in the basement?”
