From BOSS to Canon Fodder: She is Currently Out of Service!

Chapter 157: Chapter 78: Short-Handed—We Need to Hire!

Ever since dreaming about the two little kids, those nightmares haven’t bothered her anymore, and a few days later Su Jiameng’s mental state basically returned to normal. When she had the leisure to check on the employees’ health at the restaurant, she found the place bustling with activity...

Counting heads, she realized two delivery guys were missing and three housekeeping robots were gone... What kind of rhythm is this?

Su Jiameng’s first reaction was that her chefs and delivery guys had been kidnapped by competitors trying to steal business secrets!

But when she saw five near-scrapped robots, she was bewildered. Su Jiameng wasn’t blind, these five robots weren’t damaged by nature, but due to long hours of work causing the circuits to burn out and leading to a strike!

I mean...she’s not Zhou Bapi, she thinks she’s pretty kind-hearted, she treats these robots well, and there’s rest on weekends, monthly energy supplements, the benefits are decent! She wasn’t exploiting her labor, right?

Why would they become scrapped from long operational hours, is she squeezing them that much?

Su Jiameng was stunned for a moment, then pulled up the robots’ simple brain interface, and discovered that although they hadn’t been operating for many days from start to scrap, the orders completed were overwhelmingly numerous!

Upon thinking, she checked other robots’ brain interfaces and discovered the other four robots were in the same situation!

”Since when did the business get so good? This... the change is too big, isn’t it?”

Su Jiameng didn’t quite grasp the situation; because of dreams and telekinesis issues, she hadn’t been to the shop for several days, and things had been running according to the previously set system. She had no idea what was going on here!

Of course, occasionally Guan Changxi would drop by, but the frequency wasn’t restricted, and visits were random.

This basically left the restaurant in a state of autonomous operation. Then, business was too busy to handle, and things inadvertently went wrong.

Although the cost for these robots is extremely cheap, Su Jiameng still had feelings for them. She immediately grabbed repair tools, patched them up one by one, and reinforced them to prevent collapse again.

After that, she checked the shop’s revenue over the past few days, and the results were quite impressive! If made into a chart, one would likely see the orders over these days rising straight up, and demand exceeding supply!

Seeing this, Su Jiameng had only one thought: Xilena First Affiliated School students are truly pitiful, probably the canteen’s nutritious meals have dulled their taste buds. Otherwise, business wouldn’t be booming to this extent.

Making credit points is a good thing, Su Jiameng couldn’t be happier, why would she dislike it?

However, there’s currently a pressing issue before her, her restaurant’s staff is far from sufficient, these robots are on an overload operation status, and at any moment they might strike. She herself doesn’t have that much time to stand by and repair them... for now she could only get more robots and meanwhile recruit someone good at repairing...

Recruitment notices have always had similar formats throughout history, Su Jiameng didn’t consult anyone, she just described her situation, marked the recruitment requirements, salary, benefits, work content... and then posted it on Qiming Star’s recruitment network, waiting for big fish to bite.

Before the candidates come over for recruitment, she still had to diligently act as a repair worker, fixing the bodies of these miserable employees who work twenty-four hours non-stop. After all, these poor kids are making money for her, she ought to treat them a little better.

Su Jiameng also didn’t understand what was going on with the students of Xilena First Affiliated School, ordering take-out so energetically in the middle of the night, where did the legendary curfew go? Even if they avoided the curfew by crawling through windows with flyers, they should at least consider their physical condition and health maintenance. Aren’t they afraid of getting fat eating midnight snacks so late? And ordering such high-calorie, high-fat, high-protein food...

Gu Ningxuan has been having a hard time since he got dismissed by Nocturnal Song City last time. He applied for several jobs, initially agreed upon, but in the end, they all reneged and dismissed him before he could start working.

He knows who is behind this, and besides anger and helplessness, there’s nothing else in his heart. Those guys have been displeased with him for a long time, and in the past, would at most secretly sabotage, not bringing conflicts to the surface for disputes.
