Apocalypse Gachapon

Chapter 1318: What does he want to do

“Deacon Tong, this is the news from our source.”

A subordinate passed a note to Deacon Tong before moving to the side respectfully.

Deacon Tong took a look, and his eyes opened wide. He thought about it, “Is there news from Deacon Water?”

“Not during these few days. The last time she sent news was when she left Cloud Peak.”

Deacon Tong nodded and waved.

The room calmed back down. Deacon Tong clapped, and some mist rose from beside him to form a veil. Some words appeared on it.

Deacon Tong took a look before flicking, and the veil disappeared.

He stood up and walked to the window. He looked at the beautiful scenery and stretched.

The current Bright Water World had turned into a small world. It was filled with life and order. Even if there were things that Deacon Tong didn’t understand, he would still feel rejuvenated when he looked at the sights.

As compared to Bright Water Feast, this space was totally different. Five Ring Money and Dacon Tong had spent a lot of effort on this.
“Water isn’t back, and there is no news. Why?” Deacon Tong squinted his eyes and muttered.

“Cloud Peak is preparing for battle? Who is their target? They don’t seem to… Lack money.”

Deacon Tong paused and then started to say a few words. But his voice was even lower this time, and one couldn’t fully understand. There were only a few phrases.

“Crystals… Secret Realm… Aliens…”

“Men!”

Deacon Tong shouted, and that subordinate appeared in the room immediately.

“Give number 16 the order and tell him to monitor Ying City factions. Contact number 7 and ask if Cloud Peak has any weird behavior with them. Contact number 4 and check the recent trading list. See if Ruan Xiao has sold anything to Ye Zhongming.”

“Yes!”

“Also!” Deacon Tong returned to his seat and continued, “Activate Omniscient and monitor Cloud Peak’s movement.”

……………………………………………………………………………………

In a relaxing valley, there were flowers all over. Some small animals ran around leisurely, and there was no nervousness or hunger.

These animals were rabbits, squirrels, dogs, and cats that didn’t mutate.

Crisp sounds spread in the valley, making everyone think about lifeʼs happiness.

This was one’s hope for life, the hope for the future… A bunch of two and three-year-old children.

“Grandfather, grandfather, look at this. Is that cat going to give birth?” A girl hugged a small cat and asked an old man sitting on the grass.

This man with white hair but a muscular body, laughed, “Ao Yi, how do you know that he is going to give birth?”

“It is bigger than the last time I saw it. Grandfather said that if you grow up, you need to give birth.”

The old man laughed. The other kids walked over and surrounded him to talk about many childish and innocent things.

But the old man was very patient and explained to them.

But at a certain moment, his expression changed. A slightly older kid led the other children onto a beautiful caravan and left.

“Old sir.”

A middle-aged man walked over quickly and said respectfully.

“Did something happen?”

The old man closed his eyes and sniffed the fresh air in the valley.

“The people you set around Ying City sent back news.” The middle-aged man looked at the old man, “Cloud Peak has had some abnormal movements recently.”

“What movement?” The old man opened his eyes.

“Their main battle squads have all moved, and they brought hundreds of vehicles. The modified War Fortress also followed them. Red Hair, Yellow Ball, and Ye Zhongming are all in the group. Only Xia Lei and the defense battle squad is left.”

En. The person’s eyes opened wide.

“Direction.”

“Northwest, not us!”

The old man nodded, “What does he want to do…”

“Also, many other battle squad evolved are following them. That includes the people they brought back from the Secret Realm.”

“Can you confirm the number?”

The middle-aged man shook his head, “We couldn’t get close. But Cloud Peak’s own squad should be around 20 thousand. There are over a hundred thousand others.”

“So many?”

This was the first time the old man looked shocked. 100 thousand people at once? This was one of the top three factions in Cloud Peak, so anyone would be shocked.

This was huge in the apocalypse.

“Northwest. What is there?”

As Cloud Peak was hard to infiltrate, they didn’t know the exact target and could only guess.

“This…” The middle-aged man didn’t know, “Old sir, it is too hard to guess. It is too wide.”

“Factions. What factions are nearby? Any in the top 50? Also, any factions that Cloud Peak has placed a bounty on that are in that direction?”

The middle-aged man smiled bitterly, “There are too many factions in that direction. There are Jail Freedom Army, Eternal, Night Demon, etc. factions. Further away, the Resistance Zone and the Glory Army have branches there. As for the faction that Cloud Peak is searching for, they might be in that direction, but we don’t have accurate details.”

The old man nodded, “Let’s return to the headquarters.”

He placed his finger into his mouth and whistled. Moments later, a tiger head, dragon tail, and phoenix wings mutated lifeform flew from outside. Its giant body circled the sky and called out before landing beside the old man. It rubbed its mouth on the old man’s body, and the orange demon crystal representing level eight shone brightly under the sunlight.

“Let’s go!”

The old and middle-aged man jumped onto its back and tapped its body. This flying lifeform with black, white, and red feathers on its head flew into the sky.

Looking down from its back, many beasts were in that mountain valley.

……………………………………………………

“Cloud Peak moved!”

This was the biggest news today in the Resistance Zone. The resistance zone warriors in Sharp Peak Mountain base knew about it and talked about it on every occasion.

There was news that said that apart from Mu Xinfei’s S Zone, the either zones didn’t have a good relationship with Ye Zhongming. Their relationship was even terrible.

Although Cloud Peak left them a huge impression during the meeting, resistance zone warriors didn’t think they had the right to battle them.

But the country rankings made them go from scoffing at Cloud Peak to respecting them. They slowly recognised Cloud Peak’s position. They treated this faction as an equal.

The information made them nervous.

The news said that C and G Zones had taken losses from Cloud Peak. Only S Zone had a good relationship with them. As for T Zone… Don’t forget that Guang Yao’s battle squad had left, so how could they still be friends?

Cloud Peak was going all out, so who was their target? Would it be the Resistance Zone?

No one was confident.

Moreover, these warriors realised that the middle management had a few hours-long meetings, and they gave many contradictory orders. One moment, they told everyone to be wary; the next was to get ready, then it was to defend, and then it was to relax.

Everyone didn’t understand what was going on.

The middle management in the meeting room was exhausted. They didn’t know Cloud Peak’s goal, so they couldn’t give accurate orders. If you ordered to attack, what if their target wasn’t you? If you said no and to get ready, that was too passive. If you get sneak attacked, you wouldn’t have time to move troops. But if you move troops at scale, what if their target isn’t you. That would lead to misunderstandings and cause a conflict.

Everyone’s head hurt.

Ji Ruiguang held his head, “Don’t worry too much. Let’s do this.”

Everyone looked at the leader.

“Find Ye Zhongming and ask him what he wants!”
