Apocalypse Gachapon

Chapter 1314: Most lucrative business

After this news was released, a bunch of rich people surged over.

No choice. If they weren’t rich, even if they found out, they wouldn’t be able to afford these things.

This time, Cloud Peak was very firm. Things like gene warriors, first-generation crystal guns, life grains, and potions were only sold for demon crystals, which had to be level six and above.

For these Cloud Peak products, Five Ring Money’s Deacon Water, Cannibal Chain Manager Ruan Xiao, Resistance Zone’s Mu Xinfei, Pin Palace representative, and other famous factions sent their members over. Among them, there were evolved who weren’t famous but declared that they were spokespeople. It also included Dark, who was extorted by Ye Zhongming not long ago.

As can be seen, crystal weapons, gene lifeforms, life grain, etc were all things others had paid attention to. If Cloud Peak weren’t strong enough, these people would have robbed them of it.

Ye Zhongming was surprised. Not by their arrival but by their speed.

After the core member meeting and the information on this trade was released, these people arrived three days later. This speed could be compared to high-speed rails in the past.

This proved that these fellows all had methods to move quickly across the continent.

These people came really suddenly, and Cloud Peak was unprepared. But Ye Zhongming didn’t have much pressure. These people didn’t even enter Cloud Peak and were arranged to stay in Puxing Town.

The arrangement disappointed the many people who wanted to enter Cloud Peak to take a look. Those who were closer, like Mu Xinfei and Deacon Water, expressed their displeasure to Ye Zhongming, but he didn’t care.
With trade, naturally, there was a need for negotiation. Seeing that so many people came, they were mentally prepared and knew that there was going to be a battle. Cloud Peak wouldn’t give up on a chance to up the price.

As expected, the three best things—the first-generation crystal gun, basic gene warriors, and life grain—were sold for a high price and were limited.

In the short two days of trading, the factions used various methods, threats, temptations, etc., to get a piece of this pie.

The big factions wanted everything, while the smaller factions wanted the crystal guns.

When this trade ended, everyone knew how much they each spent. However, only after calculating were they shocked by how much Ye Zhongming had earned.

Ye Zhongming earned at least tens of thousands of level six demon crystals and around five hundred level seven demon crystals. It wasn’t much? But these things could get Cloud Peak a few hundred six-star evolved and five seven-star evolved!

One must know that these things were the bottom level of what the two labs had produced. It was what Cloud Peak eliminated!

These people were filled with hatred and envy, but they could do nothing. Ye Zhongming had the foresight and got help from Le Dayuan and Liu Zhenghong from the start.

After calculating Cloud Peak’s income, those closer to Ye Zhongming even pre-ordered a long-term agreement for life grain. This food could increase the strength of your skills if you ate it often, and all evolution wanted it.

After getting these things, everyone left. But on the way, some things happened that exposed Cloud Peak’s secrets.

“Cloud Peak really earned a lot this time.” A subordinate of Deacon Watere witnessed the entire trading process and was impressed.

“Apart from earning money, did you see something?” Deacon Water asked.

Seeing that he couldn’t answer, Deacon Water asked again, “In the past, what did you think Cloud Peak earned the most money from?”

That subordinate replied immediately, “Equipment! Their most profitable trade was equipment!”

“All of you think so?”

Those around her were her most trusted people.

“I think that the unassuming vitamins and Cloud Peak delicacies are the most profitable. I saw people in Puxing Town selling them the materials to make these things. They are really cheap.” ȓ𝘢Ｎȯ𝔟ЁS

Deacon Water nodded but didn’t give a definite answer.

“Tax!” The third subordinate clapped. His eyes lit up, and he felt like he had the answer.

“All factions in Ying City need to pay tax. They need to pay taxes in Puxing Town, too. Opening shops, selling items, mercenary guild, all of these would need to give Cloud Peak a cut. Some Ying City factions are allowed to enter the secret realm, but they would need to pay taxes when they return. Cloud Peak would even take some of the good stuff. This was an easy deal; they just sat there and got money!”

The few subordinates had different answers so that led to a discussion. The various captain-level people had their views.

After a long while, they realised that their boss hadn’t spoken for some time, so they quietened down.

“Evolution potion trade.”

Everyone was stunned and didn’t understand why Deacon Water would say that.

“Ye Zhongming is very mysterious. He doesn’t trade potions with super factions. Even if he does, he doesn’t do a lot. He doesn’t trade many advanced potions.”

“So even if you know that Cloud Peak has that business, you won’t pay attention to it.”

Deacon Water sighed, “At the start, we all thought that Cloud Peak did this business because there weren’t many of them. Their average evolution level was high, and they had spare potions. So it wasn’t weird that they sold the potions.”

“But people found something weird. After some investigation, we found the answer.”

The subordinates looked at each other as they didn’t know about this. Boss Water had other hidden people.

“The investigation showed that Cloud Peak is selling a shocking amount of potions! The potions they sell are not for similar-level crystals; they only want higher-level crystals. The price is better than if you were to spin the wheel yourself.”

Deacon Water looked at the subordinates and asked, “Do you know what that means? This means that Cloud Peak has an ability that allows them to spin the wheel at a very high success rate!”

The subordinates sucked in a deep breath and were in disbelief.

Increasing the success rate when spinning the wheel was not a rare ability. Five Ring Money had someone with that ability.

But the increase was just a small amount.

If it was as their boss said and it could greatly increase the success rate, that was terrifying.

“Use low-level evolution potions to obtain higher-level crystals and then use these crystals to get higher-level potions to sell and get even higher-level crystals… This cycle is their secret to getting stronger!”

Deacon Water concluded.

“Bus boss, if Cloud Peak is earning so much, why are they selling things they didn’t sell in the past?”

The subordinate didn’t understand that.

Deacon Water had a confused expression, “That means he needs crystals… The need is so much that the potion trade can’t satisfy him.”

What caused Cloud Peak to need so many crystals? Deacon Water looked toward Cloud Peak and contemplated.
