Apocalypse Gachapon

Chapter 1316.5- Zero Horn Herring (2)

It then bit the begging level six’s head and chewed before swallowing it.

The taste of flesh and blood in its mouth made it immersed in its desires. Its two claws pressed onto the corpse of the food, and its mouth started to rip and swallow. In just a few minutes, it ate half of this two-tonne heavy level six demon monster.

The tough bones were like crisps in its mouth. The warm organs were the most delicious things in the world to it.

After a few minutes, only 20% of this level six demon monster remained. The organs and nice parts were all eaten. All that was left were fur and bones.

The Zero Horn Herring was very satisfied with this meal. It was very full. After this meal, it would be free for a few dozen days. During this period, it just needed to casually hunt and eat any random thing.

But…

It suddenly realised that there was a weird thing under the food it was eating. Not only was it dark, but it was also shining. There was a slow but flashing speck of light.

It wanted to sniff, but the speck of light lit up and exploded when it lowered its head.

The ground shook as if there was a level six or seven explosion. Hundreds of meters around the Zero Horn Herring started to explode.

Along with the smoke was the Zero Horn Herring’s furious roars.
It knew that it had fallen for someone’s trap.

The Zero Horn Herring suffered injuries, but they weren’t fatal. Its defense was very strong.

The giant wings on its body slapped the ground, helping it to float up. It quickly got away from the smoke.

Its field of vision started to clear, which made it feel safe. It looked around and wanted to find the people who had attacked it.

At that moment, eight pillars of light fired from numerous directions. It didn’t aim at the herring but the sky above it.

These rays were huge, and when they gathered in one spot, they started to split into smaller rays, instantly covering the region where the Zero Horn Herring was.

As these rays appeared very suddenly and the Zero Horn Herring was climbing, it clashed with them.

Another furious shout as a scorching smell filled the entire battlefield. The rays hit the body of the herring and caused a scorching effect.

Many wounds appeared on its body. Like the explosions, they weren’t lethal but made it feel that they were dangerous.

The difference was that it felt like it was in danger, and might die.

Its body was burnt, so it instinctively lowered the height. But a giant figure appeared on a hill and started to attack it.

Numerous rays fired at it, and then there were two metal slicers. Numerous missiles were also fired from the skies.

When the Zero Horn Herring noticed these attacks, it could not dodge them with its speed, and those attacks drowned it.

All this level eight lifeform could do now was to shrivel up to reduce the area of attack. It could only use the strong defensive ability of its body to survive. ṞἁΝÒʙÈs

Hong! Hong!

The symbolic crystal cannon sounds rang out. The weapons covered in protective material showed their vicious fangs and attacked the herring. At the same time, some warriors led many battle beasts to use their abilities against some weird-shaped and big-tummy lifeforms.

These gene lifeforms with big stomachs were like tanks filled with energy, pounced toward the battlefield.

The Zero Horn Herring rolled several times from the attacks. Its body went from small injuries at first to slightly heavier injuries now.

Although it was sneak attacked, it was still a level eight lifeform. It was very strong in Night Demon Plains. It roared and stretched its wings. The pores on its stomach started to secrete some liquid.

The liquid quickly spread across its body. The green body turned red. Its ability caused it to enter a berserk state.

This time, it didn’t roar. It chose a direction and started dashing there.

Its instincts were outstanding. That was the crystal cannon formation and where the Cloud Peak warriors were gathered. If it broke that place, the remaining War Fortress wouldn’t be much of a threat against it.

But after running a distance, the ground started to collapse. It stumbled, and its body fell downwards.

It didn’t panic and flapped its wings to fly.

Although there were rays that it hated and some fierce cannon fire was covering the sky, it still chose to fly into that trap.

But it suddenly felt devoid of energy. Pain spread from its stomach that came from within its body.

It was very smart and knew that there was something wrong with the level six lifeform that it had eaten.

But it was too late. Its body lifted off from the ground before falling back down.

Hundreds of metallic mechanisms that were like rat tails fired from the structures below and stabbed into this level eight lifeform’s already injured stomach. The red color that had appeared didn’t increase its defense by much.

The Zero Horn Herring definitely didn’t feel good with so many sharp things stabbing into its body. After crying, it gave out a desperate roar.

It felt the tips of the things expanding and rotating, slicing its flesh and organs.

The last burst of energy before death allowed it to use a surge of energy. It jumped out from the trap and looked back at the horizon.

It saw a hundred things with big stomachs jumping. Its height was coincidentally the same as theirs.

Burst!

The big stomach lifeform exploded, and the intense force blew it back into the trap. Black liquid entered the flesh holes on its back, which appeared from the explosion, and then green smoke started emanating.

The bottom of the trap had thick spikes. The Zero Horn Herring was stuck to the spikes and felt an intense scorching pain. It then lost control of its body. Powerlessness and darkness corroded it until they completely defeated it.

At a certain moment, the Zero Horn Herring closed its eyes and died.
