Apocalypse Gachapon

Chapter 1317: Crazy plan

“Are your checks done, Old Le?”

Liu Zhenghong stood above the threat and shouted impatiently at Le Dayuan.

“Give me a moment.”

Le Dayuan replied. He continued to discuss with the researchers around him.

“The spikes need to be harder. This demon monster’s defense is higher than others of the same level. Although the spikes broke its defense, it didn’t stab deep in. If not for the Zero Horn Herring being injured and poisoned, it would have gotten away easily.”

The researchers recorded it. It wasn’t that they couldn’t remember it; it was because all of this would become details stored in the lab’s special space equipment.

“The Rat Tail Traps are good.”

Le Dayuan looked at the demon monster’s stomach and shouted, “Old Liu, bring people down to dissect it.”

Liu Zhenghong was very impatient, and when she heard that, she jumped down.

“Video.”
Liu Zhenghong and Le Dayuan gathered together, and after discussing, Liu Zhenghong didnʼt even use the tools her subordinate brought. She raised her right hand, and her white hands turned into sharp beast claws. She then pushed with her legs and leaped up. At a certain height, her other hand grabbed a rat tail trap and waved it. As she moved, her right hand split the stomach of the Zero Horn Herring.

Blood and flesh fell like a rain which drenched the people below.

Le Dayuan touched the smelly intestines and blood on his face and looked at his wife. There was nothing he could do.

“Old Liu, is there any research value after you split it like this?”

Le Dayuan examined the rat tail trapʼs condition in the body while speaking to Liu Zhenghong, who was collecting specimens.

“The demon monsters here are different from mutated lifeforms on Earth. My main research direction is on that side. As for this side, there is a focus group. Let the kids below do their work.”

Le Dayuan understood what she meant.

Under the current situation, the lifeforms of each world have differences. If this place could last for a long time, there would be naturally value in studying it. But if it collapsed, no matter how good they were at studying it, there would be not much purpose.

Although Liu Zhenghong said that, she was still very serious when she collected the specimens. She used various instruments to test the body while also imputing data into a computer. She also described the situation and recorded her words. All of this could be used during research.

People from the two labs took specimens and tested energy, functions, etc., for half a day before they completed the task.

All that remained was to remove the corpse for Yellow Ball and the other battle beasts to consume.

Of course, some lower-level lifeforms had to eat this mixed with feed. If not, they wouldn’t be able to handle the enormous energy within.

As Cloud Peak was often able to get high-level mutated lifeforms, the battle beasts grew quickly. Some that grew faster were about to mature. When the time comes, Cloud Peak will welcome an increase in strength.

The biggest goal this time was this level eight crystal.

Ye Zhongming’s plan focused on high-level crystals, or rather, level eight crystals.

After killing the Zero Horn Herring, they returned to Cloud Peak. They had spent some time in the Secret Realm and would have drawn the nine-winged crow’s attention. Facing the level nine lifeform that was shockingly strong, it was better if they returned sooner. ṘаŊ𝐎𐌱Èʂ

Everyone gathered in the meeting room to discuss this operationʼs losses and gains.

“The tests are a success. Our plans can be bolder.”

Little Tiger, who was pessimistic, was the first to feel emotional after seeing the effects.

“We need to consider a few problems.” Guang Yao was more stable. As a commander, he considered more aspects.

“One was the difference between Secret Realm demon monsters and Earth mutated lifeforms. The demon monsters in the Secret Realm are slightly weaker. Another is our consumption. When we hunt a level eight lifeform, how much are we consuming? For example, this time, we used the air-to-ground missile of the Exquisite Floating Ball. Some crystals were used for the War Fortress, such as crystal cannons, crystal grenades, and traps. There were also the exploding gene lifeforms. Which is more expensive compared to the materials and level eight crystal?”

Everyone nodded and felt that Guang Yao made sense.

“Especially in a fighting environment.” Guang Yao tapped on the map. Night Demon Plains has fewer demon monsters now, and we can prepare and fight easily.”

“But not on Earth. We don’t have as much time and space. There are too high chance of accidents occurring. If we continue to do this, we need to plan.”

Ye Zhongming totally agreed.

“Zhongming, do we have to reach the target of the operation?” Xia Lei asked. After getting a reply, this woman, who was similar to Cloud Peak’s CEO, said, “We can look at it in another way.”

“What way?” Ye Zhongming trusted his woman’s ability.

“Reduce the scale, target level seven lifeforms.”

Hearing Xia Lei say that, Ye Zhongming frowned.

His goal was to get level eight crystals. Target level seven lifeforms? That conflicted with his goal.

“Like what Guang Yao said, the environment on Earth is more complicated than the Secret Realm. If we can’t appear too often in the Secret Realm, Earth is our main battlefield. Lowering the target level is safer for us.”

Xia Lei saw that Ye Zhongming was still frowning and knew that he didn’t agree. She smiled, “If we reduce our target to level seven lifeforms, our preparations will reduce. Crystal cannons and traps won’t be needed as much. We can fight on four battlefields simultaneously with our current storage and production ability.”
