My Youth Began With Him

“Because we’re family, I can give you more.”

Qin Chu smiled warmly as he looked at his beloved cousin.

“Brother, I have money; I have a lot of money…” Qin Ning’s personal funds were stunning. Even though she wasn’t as rich as Lu Yan, she had over 100 million yuan in her bank accounts.

“I know you have money, but I want to give it to you. Take it.”

“Brother, is something bothering you? I think…you’re keeping something from us.”

Qin Ning looked at him worriedly.

“No. The kids just wanted to go to Japan with Su Yu. But I don’t think Japan has a lot of fun places to go, so I decided to let them have a good time during the winter vacation since they don’t have classes anyway. I’ve been busy and can’t have a vacation with them but they are eager to travel.”

“Fine. I’m glad to hear that nothing is bothering you… Don’t worry, I’ll take good care of my nieces.”

“When you’re traveling, be careful and keep low.”

“I know.”

“You talk to Tang Chuan about it.”

“Okay. I will.”

“I booked air tickets for you. It’s tomorrow night. I’ll drive you guys to the airport.”

“So soon?” Qin Ning was surprised to hear they’d leave tomorrow night.

“Yeah. Pudding and Little Bean can’t wait to go.”

“Haha. Fine, I’ll pack tonight. Dad will be happy to know that I’ll be visiting him with Pudding and Little Bean.”

“Bring my regards to Second Uncle. Ask him to take care.”

“My dad is fine… Brother, don’t worry. You stay home and take care of my sister-in-law.”

Qin Chu didn’t reply; he glanced at his watch and stood up.

“I’ve got to go.”

“You haven’t had tea yet.”

“I can’t. I have something to do. You and Tang Chuan must get prepared for the trip.”

Then he walked out.

When Tang Chuan came down with the tea, Qin Chu was gone.

“Honey, where’s my brother-in-law?”

“He left.”

“Damn… He left? Then why did I make the damned tea?” Tang Chuan felt he had gotten busy for nothing.

“Bring it here. I’ll drink it.” Qin Ning beckoned at him.

“Heihei. Fine. Honey, try my excellent tea making skills…”

Tang Chuan leaned over and threw an arm around her shoulders as they sipped the strong and fragrant Pu’er Tea…

“My dear…” Qin Ning began.

“Are you talking to me?” Tang Chuan thought he had heard it wrong.

“My dear husband…” Qin Ning said.

“Ahem… Your majesty, I’m not used to you talking to me this way…”

Qin Ning usually called him Tang Xiaochuan, so he was a bit surprised that Qin Ning called him “husband” and “my dear”.

“Honey, let’s go for a trip…”

“No problem…” Tang Chuan replied without hesitation. Then he remembered a trendy song and sang, “I want to take you to romantic Turkey, and then to Tokyo and Paris; I especially like Miami and Los Angeles with black people.”

Qin Ning snapped her fingers.

“Great. It’s settled then.”

“Huh? What’s settled?” Tang Chuan was confused.

“Let’s go to Tokyo, Paris, Miami and Los Angeles where my daddy lives…” Qin Ning said.

“But we…just came back from Los Angeles…” Tang Chuan was still confused.

They had been back for less than two weeks and now they were going to Los Angeles again as if it was just in the neighborhood.
