My Youth Began With Him

“My little majesty, you’re ungrateful. I called you a lot of times, but your sister never complained.”

“Handsome Su, you’re wrong. We’re not together all the time. We go to the washroom separately,” Little Bean retorted.

“Fine. You win, your majesty.” Su Yu was exasperated.

“Handsome Su, have you eaten?” Pudding leaned over and asked in concern.

“I’m eating in the cafeteria after working overtime in the company.”

“Haha. Do you have chicken legs?” Little Bean asked curiously.

“Turkey legs. Do you want to try one?”

“Hahaha. No. Turkey legs suck…”

The twins chatted casually with Su Yu.

“Are you going to have winter vacation soon?” Su Yu asked them.

“Yeah. We’ll have the final exam in three days. The winter vacation will begin in about one week.”

“Okay. Very good. I’ll have them book plane tickets then.”

“Plane tickets?” Little Bean was puzzled.

“To the Disneyland in Tokyo. Do you want to go?” Su Yu chuckled slyly.

“Yes, yes, yes.”

“Yes.”

The sisters answered at the same time; obviously, they had been looking forward to the trip.

“Good. I’ll book the tickets in one week. We’ll fly directly to Tokyo…” Su Yu said with a snap of his fingers.

Exhilarated, Little Bean stood up and said, “Can we go to Mt. Fuji and see the snow?”

“We can.”

“Can we go skiing in Hokkaido?”

“We can.”

“Can we go shopping in Osaka?”

“We can.”

“Can we go to Nara and see the cute deer?”

“We can do all those things.”

“Wow, Handsome Su, I love you so much…” Little Bean expressed her feelings exuberantly.

“I don’t believe you, flatterer. Pudding, do you love me?”

Su Yu looked at Pudding who was sitting there quietly.

“Love you.” Pudding smiled shyly.

Qin Chu was jealous.

“How about Daddy?”

“I love Handsome Su, but I love Daddy even more.” Little Bean immediately changed her words.

Pudding just stood up, threw her arms around her daddy’s neck and kissed his handsome cheek.

“Hey, Qin Zhaozhao, you’re very good. You outdid me instantly… No, no. Old Qin, I must kiss you, too… You’re so handsome, if I don’t kiss you, it’s a loss for me.”

Handing the cellphone to her sister, Little Bean held her daddy and kissed his cheek too, leaving saliva on his face. But her clean freak daddy didn’t even wipe it off; he just grinned happily.

Obviously, the two girls were closer to their daddy; due to their special connection with their mother, the two kids were distant from the imposter even though they didn’t know her true identity.

After being scratched, Pudding looked at her mom as if the latter was a monster.

Qin Chu was less worried after getting Huo Mian into the hospital; the woman couldn’t go home and stay with his kids and parents now.

After ending the video chat, Su Yu immediately instructed his secretary, “Book three first-class air tickets to Tokyo and the best room in the best hotel in the city; book three tickets to Disneyland, too.”

“Yes, President Su.”

After making the arrangements, Su Yu felt it was necessary to tell Huo Mian about the trip, so he sent her a WeChat message.

He had visited her in the hospital during the day but with a lot of people around them, he didn’t talk much with her. Then he left to handle business in his company.

He glanced at his watch and saw it was only 7 PM.

Su Yu: “Mian, are you asleep?”

Huo Mian: “No.”

Su Yu: “How are you feeling? Are your ribs still hurting?”

Huo Mian: “Yes.”

Su Yu: “Have you had supper?”

Huo Mian: “No. No one delivered supper to me.”

Su Yu: “No way. Didn’t Qin Chu bring you supper?”

Huo Mian: “No. Maybe he wants to starve me to death.”

Su Yu: “Nonsense. What do you want to eat? I’ll buy it and bring it over.”

Huo Mian: “Su Yu, don’t be so good to me. I’m afraid I’ll fall in love with you.”

Su Yu: “Ahem. Don’t pull my leg… Dr. Huo, my heart is weak and I can’t take a fright.”

Huo Mian: “Come eat supper with me. I want crystal shrimp dumplings and pumpkin congee.”

Su Yu: “Don’t you want seafood? A crab maybe? Haha.”

Huo Mian: “No. I hate crabs and lobsters. They stink.”

Su Yu: “Huh? You love seafood, right?”
