My Youth Began With Him

“Shut up. You can go now.”

Seeing she was angry, Su Yu picked up the spoon in resignation.

“Okay, I’ll feed you.”

“Now you don’t think it’s too intimate?” Huo Mian stared at him coldly.

“It’s not important. You can’t starve.”

Su Yu was kind but he also knew it wasn’t proper to feed her. But he also knew Huo Mian was sick and needed food to recover, so he finally gave in.

But he was a smart guy and sent a WeChat message to Qin Chu about the situation.

The message said, “Qin Chu, I’m in the hospital and brought Mian supper. Do you want to join us?”

Qin Chu only replied with two words, “I’m busy.”

Not wanting to disturb Qin Chu’s work, Su Yu began feeding Huo Mian little by little.

However, Qin Ning and Tang Chuan walked in on them. Qin Ning entered the room first and was displeased when she saw what they were doing.

“Mr. Su, you’re here, too,” she said.

“Oh, you two are back.” Immediately Su Yu put down the spoon in embarrassment.

Tang Chuan followed her into the room. “Whoa. Mr. Su, you’re here too. We think alike, huh?”

“Haha. I brought her supper.” Su Yu scratched his head and laughed.

Qin Ning glanced at Huo Mian in displeasure. “Sister-in-law, where’s my brother?”

Huo Mian coughed slightly. “Your brother isn’t here.”

“No way. He loves his wife dearly. How can he not be here…” Qin Ning said in a weird tone.

“What are you guys waiting for? Let’s eat together.” Tang Chuan took out the food Su Yu had bought and was ready to enjoy it with them.

But Huo Mian was unhappy…

“No. I lost my appetite. You guys should go now. I want to sleep…” Huo Mian turned her face away.

Tang Chuan looked embarrassed…

Then the three of them walked out of the hospital together.

“Mr. Su, you might be offended, but I still have to say it. I’m from the Qin Family and must think from the perspective of my brother. We all know you love my sister-in-law, but she’s my brother’s wife. Can’t you stay away from her?”

Qin Ning had been very displeased and took it all out on Su Yu.

Before Su Yu could reply, Tang Chuan got embarrassed. Tugging at her sleeve, he said, “Ahem… Ning, what are you talking about? Mr. Su isn’t that kind of person.”

“Shut up. I know you’re Mr. Su’s pal and it’s natural for you to defend him, but I am telling the truth. Mr. Su, you know what I saw when I entered the room. I won’t tell my brother about it, but don’t do it again. No matter how close you are, you two can’t be so intimate. People will talk.”

“You’re right. It won’t happen again.”

Berated by Qin Ning, Su Yu wasn’t resentful; instead, he knew she was right.

In fact, he had been in a dilemma. He hadn’t wanted to feed Huo Mian but she forced him to.

Not wanting Huo Mian to go hungry, he even sent a WeChat message to Qin Chu, reporting the situation to him.

Still, Qin Ning walked in on them, as if catching them together in bed. Su Yu felt humiliated.

“Mr. Su, let’s go and have a drink.” Tang Chuan tried to ease the tension.

“No. I can’t. Maybe another day.” Su Yu got into his racecar and left the hospital.

Tang Chuan looked at Qin Ning. “Babe, don’t you think you were too harsh with Mr. Su?”
