Forcing Me to Be a Godly Tycoon, Right?

Chapter 1697: Chapter 631: A Sweet Date with Song Yunshan! (Long Chapter Subscription Request)

Zhang Jingdong reached out and playfully tapped her perky nose: ”Here’s the thing, I’ve invested in a restaurant in our county these days. When the time comes, the restaurant staff will purchase from her, and this cooked pear cake will be featured as a dish or dessert after meals.”

”If it turns out well, I’ll have the restaurant hire Aunt Tian as the head dessert chef. She just had surgery, so she won’t have to be out here in the wind and sun every day.”

Song Yunshan jumped up with joy: ”Really? You’re amazing! On behalf of Aunt Tian, thank you!”

Zhang Jingdong said nonchalantly, ”Why are you saying thanks to me? She’s so close to you and has given you so much emotional value; just that alone is worth giving her a few million!”

Song Yunshan was caught off guard and once again felt warmed by Zhang Jingdong.

”... You’re so nice!”

”Why don’t you give me a kiss then?”

Song Yunshan was slightly taken aback, but then she actually leaned forward and gave Zhang Jingdong a peck.

Zhang Jingdong was instantly delighted: ”Hahaha, happy!”

The two of them left the back street and returned to the school gate, where Zhang Jingdong casually asked, ”What do you want for lunch?”

Song Yunshan shook her head at first, then suddenly thought of something: ”Didn’t you invest in a restaurant? Why don’t we go there?”

Zhang Jingdong’s heart tightened instantly, and he mentally slapped himself: Why couldn’t you keep your mouth shut? You’re caught in your own trap now, aren’t you?

He quickly thought and then said, ”It’s lunchtime now, and it’s very popular there. There might not be any seats now. I’m an investor, but I can’t use special privileges... Right, have you eaten at the Bo Wen Bookstore’s next-door rice noodle shop?”

Song Yunshan didn’t suspect anything and nodded: ”I’ve eaten there.”

”What do you think of the taste there?”

”Not bad, just that...”

”Just what?”

”Bo Wen Bookstore is run by my aunt.”

Zhang Jingdong looked surprised: ”Really? I used to buy books there a lot back in the day, never thought the lady with the black-rimmed glasses was your aunt!”

Speaking of which, Zhang Jingdong suddenly remembered something: ”Oh right, we actually ran into each other at that bookstore once. I stayed there for more than three hours just to look at you a bit longer.”

”When leaving, your aunt told me, ’Young man, at your age, you should focus on studying and not think about anything else.’

”Hahaha, at the time, I didn’t understand why she said that, but now I realize she was protecting you.”

”And when it was lunchtime and I left, you stayed. Did your aunt take you to eat those noodles?”

Song Yunshan smiled and nodded: ”Yes, and while eating that day, my aunt praised you. She said you’re quite handsome but probably not very good at studying, and she asked if I knew you.”

”How did you answer then?”

”My aunt has read a lot, so it wasn’t easy to fool her. I told her the truth and even said your grades were very good, better than mine.”

”My aunt was very surprised and then asked if we were dating. Luckily we had nothing going on at the time, otherwise, she would have found out.”

”Really, such an incident!”

Zhang Jingdong chuckled: ”In that case, it seems your aunt is a very open-minded person. Why don’t we go eat noodles? If we run into your aunt, I’ll treat her to a meal to pave the way for visiting your house in the future.”

Song Yunshan blinked her beautiful eyes: ”Are you serious? My aunt really often goes there for lunch.”

Zhang Jingdong shrugged: ”Of course I’m serious, and I think your aunt probably remembers me too. I used to spend at least half of my monthly allowance at her bookstore.”

Song Yunshan saw that Zhang Jingdong didn’t seem to be joking, hesitated a bit, then nodded: ”Alright, then let’s go have some noodles.”

So the two of them got in the car, Zhang Jingdong started it up, and they left the school gate.

About ten minutes later, the black Land Rover slowly parked on the roadside in front of the noodle shop.

Even though the noodle shop was located in a slightly remote area, the good taste and reasonable prices ensured it was almost full with only three or four empty seats remaining.

And because the front of the noodle shop was made of glass, people inside could clearly see what was happening outside.

Moreover, in this day and age, luxury cars in the county were quite rare. Cars like a BBA would always attract a lot of attention here, let alone a nearly two-million Land Rover Range Rover.

Plus, since they were visiting a noodle shop with an average consumption of just over ten bucks, the black Range Rover’s arrival immediately drew the attention and admiration of many inside and outside the shop.

”Wow, this car looks so cool, what kind of car is it?”

”You don’t recognize a Land Rover Range Rover? Idiot!”

”Wow, the way you’re talking, it’s like you own the car. How much would this car cost?”

”Top-of-the-line would be two to three million!”

As soon as these words were said, people nearby were even more amazed.

”It’s that expensive? Wow, incredible! Do you know whose car this is?”

”No idea, can’t you see the license plate is from Jiangdu? How could someone from our county afford such an imposing car?”

Not far away, Song Na was eating noodles with her friends while chatting. Hearing this, she couldn’t resist glancing outside.

Her friend also turned to look and then said, ”Wow, that car is really pretty, no wonder it’s so expensive!”

Song Na teased, ”You always feel that the men in our county aren’t good enough for you. The person driving this car is probably a man, maybe you can...”

She stopped abruptly.

Because she suddenly saw two people get out of the car, and one of them was her most cherished niece!
