Forcing Me to Be a Godly Tycoon, Right?

Chapter 1696: Chapter 631: A Sweet Date with Song Yunshan! (Extended Chapter)

Zhang Jingdong laughed heartily, ”You guys didn’t waste your time in middle school, you really know how to deal with people!”

Then he casually put his arm around Song Yunshan’s fragrant shoulders and led her out of the arcade.

At that moment, Zhang Jingdong, perhaps because Song Yunshan could play The King of Fighters now, suddenly found her even more beautiful.

So he couldn’t resist giving her a quick kiss and then said, ”So, was the game fun just now?”

Although Song Yunshan was incredibly shy, she still nodded, ”It was fun.”

”After lunch, I’ll take you to an even more fun place.”

”Where?”

Zhang Jingdong pretended to be mysterious, ”You’ll find out then, but I promise you’ll like it.”

”...Okay.”

The two walked another fifty or sixty meters, then saw the stall not far away selling steamed pear cakes.

Song Yunshan suddenly realized she might need to buy them herself.

She was already familiar with the auntie who sold the steamed pear cakes and had some interactions with her before.

But she didn’t know how to bring this up to Zhang Jingdong.

While she was hesitating, they approached the stall.

The auntie, upon seeing Song Yunshan, immediately gave her a kind and sincere smile, ”Shanshan, long time no see.”

Song Yunshan replied with a smile, ”Aunt Tian, are you in good health?”

”Yes, very good. I had surgery before, but now I’ve basically recovered.”

Tian Fang felt it might not be her place to ask about the boy next to Song Yunshan, but her innate curiosity made it hard to resist.

Besides, she thought if Song Yunshan was courageous enough to bring him on a date, she wouldn’t mind people asking.

So she smiled and said, ”Is he your boyfriend?”

Song Yunshan’s face instantly turned completely red, but she nodded, ”...Yes.”

Tian Fang then took a serious look at Zhang Jingdong and said, ”You have good taste; this young man not only looks spirited but also seems like a motivated kid.”

Receiving such praise, Zhang Jingdong said, ”Thank you, Aunt Tian, Shanshan has mentioned a few times that your steamed pear cakes are delicious, so I accompanied her to try them today.”

”Is that so? Alright, Shanshan still likes the red bean and apricot flavors, right?”

”Yes!”

Tian Fang deftly got two portions of the two flavors for Song Yunshan, then turned to Zhang Jingdong, ”Young man, what flavor would you like?”

”I’ll have the same two flavors.”

”Alright.”

Tian Fang said as she got two portions for Zhang Jingdong.

As Zhang Jingdong accepted the steamed pear cakes, he asked, ”How much?”

Tian Fang waved her hand, ”It’s rare for Shanshan to bring you over; today it’s on me!”

Zhang Jingdong shook his head with a smile, ”How can that be, these are your hard work, we...”

Tian Fang interrupted, ”Young man, you don’t need to say more. Even if Shanshan came alone, I wouldn’t take her money.”

”Before, when I wasn’t well and my daughter’s studies weren’t good, Shanshan not only brought her classmates to help my business but also often came over on weekends to tutor my daughter.”

”Now that things have improved at home, I must thank Shanshan and I definitely can’t take your money.”

She turned to Song Yunshan, ”Shanshan, seeing you so happy makes me happy too. Good people indeed receive good things in return!”

”I have nothing else to repay you, so luckily you like my steamed pear cakes, from now on, as long as you come by, they’re on the house.”

Seeing Tian Fang say this, Song Yunshan didn’t know what to do, so she turned to Zhang Jingdong.

Zhang Jingdong gave her a look, then said with a smile, ”Alright, Aunt Tian, since you say so, we shall accept your kind offer. Thank you!”

Tian Fang was even happier seeing Zhang Jingdong accept, ”Young man, don’t be so polite... But I want to tell you, Shanshan not only has good traits but also a kind heart, such girls are rare, so make sure to treat her well!”

Zhang Jingdong earnestly said, ”Don’t worry, I know her worth; being with her is my blessing, so I’ll definitely cherish it.”

The three chatted for a bit longer before Zhang Jingdong and Song Yunshan walked away.

Watching them fade into the distance, Tian Fang’s gaze was full of comfort and joy, as if her own daughter had found a good match.

Zhang Jingdong tasted the steamed pear cake and couldn’t help but exclaim, ”Delicious! I thought you were just helping her out at first, but Aunt Tian’s skills are really something!”

Song Yunshan paused, then said, ”Yeah, I first loved Aunt Tian’s steamed pear cakes, so I went every day. Later, I learned about her family’s situation and did what I could to help.”

Noticing a trace of hesitation in her eyes, Zhang Jingdong said, ”Are you still worried about us not paying just now?”

Song Yunshan pursed her lips, ”Those four portions would have cost a dollar, Aunt Tian would have to sell ten times that to earn it.”

Zhang Jingdong sighed, ”My girlfriend really is kind and beautiful. But don’t worry, how could someone as wealthy as us let others lose out?”

”Starting tomorrow, there will be people buying at least 100 portions of steamed pear cake from Aunt Tian every day.”

Song Yunshan’s heart stirred instantly, ”You mean... you’ll have your family buy them? But can you finish so much cake? Plus, Aunt Tian might find out, then...”
