Forcing Me to Be a Godly Tycoon, Right?

Chapter 1652: Chapter 616: Kissed Hu Ling! (Super Chapter)

Shangguan Yue was momentarily confused: ”What are you talking about? What watch?”

Zhang Jingdong pointed to her left hand: ”Isn’t this a watch? Then what is it?”

Following his finger, Shangguan Yue glanced at her left arm and was instantly stunned.

”This... this isn’t my watch! What’s going on?”

Zhang Jingdong held back his laughter: ”Are you kidding me? If this isn’t your watch, why is it on your arm? Did you steal it from someone?”

”I didn’t... I have no idea... What on earth is happening?”

”You don’t look like a thief, so maybe it’s a gift from the heavens.”

”You wouldn’t believe it, but I had a similar experience once. I woke up one day and suddenly found a watch on my wrist.”

”I was just as surprised as you are. I even called the police, but they couldn’t figure it out, so they let me keep the watch. I think you should consider it a heavenly gift and just accept it.”

As he spoke, Zhang Jingdong raised his left hand: ”Look, this is the watch... Hmm? My goodness, it seems the watches the heavens gave us are a couples’ set. We must be destined for each other!”

Hearing this, Shangguan Yue looked at the watch on Zhang Jingdong’s hand and then at her own, slightly bewildered, but quickly understood what was going on.

”How did you do this?”

Zhang Jingdong feigned ignorance: ”How did I do what?”

”Don’t play dumb, how did you put this watch on my hand?”

Shangguan Yue set down the spatula and was about to take off the watch.

Zhang Jingdong grabbed her hand: ”How about this, I’ll tell you how I did it, and you accept the watch?”

Shangguan Yue paused for a moment, then shook her head: ”No, this watch doesn’t look cheap, I can’t accept it!”

”It’s not about the price of the gift, but the sentiment behind it... This is my token of affection for you.”

Shangguan Yue shook her head again: ”No, I...”

Seeing she still refused, Zhang Jingdong said, ”Since you disagree, I won’t admit the watch is mine. Besides, you didn’t see how it got on your hand.”

”Unless you can prove this watch is mine, you’ll have to deal with it on your own.”

”You...” Shangguan Yue was stunned: ”I... Why are you like this? The watches clearly match, so it must be yours!”

Zhang Jingdong shrugged: ”I also have two ears, and the ones on your head seem to match mine too. Are your ears mine?”

”You... you’re being unreasonable!”

Watching her adorable and exasperated expression, Zhang Jingdong couldn’t help but laugh: ”Who’s being unreasonable here? You suddenly have a watch on your wrist, and you insist it’s mine. But where’s your evidence?”

”If I accept it, what if one day you claim someone took advantage of you and say it was me? Wouldn’t I have to accept that? You need to provide evidence!”

Shangguan Yue was left with no choice.

She thought seriously for a moment, then said: ”...Okay, how about this: if you can demonstrate how you magically put the watch on my hand, then I’ll accept your gift. Is that fair?”

Zhang Jingdong grinned: ”Really? You’re not trying to trick me, are you?”

”You’re so clever, do you think I could trick you?”

”...Alright, since you insist, let me show you my magic skills again...”

As Zhang Jingdong spoke, his right hand gently swept over Shangguan Yue’s arm.

And just like that, the watch on her hand disappeared!

Then Zhang Jingdong’s right hand magically glided over her right arm, and suddenly the watch was on her right hand.

Shangguan Yue was completely astonished: ”Your magic is incredible! How... how did you do it?”

Zhang Jingdong, with a mysterious expression, said: ”Some things just can’t be explained, like why I suddenly fell for you, and why you suddenly fell for me. It’s all inexplicable!”

Saying this, he suddenly leaned in and kissed Shangguan Yue’s jade-like hand.

”Whether you agree or not, we’ve now sealed this moment with a kiss; you can’t escape!”

Shangguan Yue might have been moved by his words, or perhaps that kiss thoroughly stirred her heart, as she didn’t rebut.

For the next ten minutes or so, Shangguan Yue continued cooking, and Zhang Jingdong kept the fire going, much like the growing warmth around them.

At this moment, Shangguan Yue said: ”The food’s almost ready, could you check if the others have woken up? If they’re up, just call me, and I’ll bring the food up.”

Zhang Jingdong nodded: ”...Okay.”

He stood up, gave Shangguan Yue’s hand a gentle tug, and then turned to go upstairs.

Shangguan Yue watched his back with a mix of shyness and playful annoyance, looking truly enchanting.

Zhang Jingdong went upstairs, first waking Liu Yang, then headed to Song Yunshan and Hu Ling’s room.

He knocked twice on the door, and soon Hu Ling’s voice came from inside: ”Who is it?”

Zhang Jingdong couldn’t help but laugh; she definitely knew it was him knocking, her tone was so coquettish.

He replied: ”It’s me.”

”What do you want?”

”Is Song Yunshan up?”

Then Song Yunshan’s voice came from inside: ”I’m up.”

”Then come on out, the food’s ready, and we’ll head out after eating.”

”...Okay.”
