Forcing Me to Be a Godly Tycoon, Right?

Chapter 1656: Chapter 618: A Match Made in Heaven!

Zhang Jingdong saw Song Yunshan’s emotions stirred, and he stopped in his tracks, embracing her abruptly.

Song Yunshan was caught off guard, instinctively turning her head to glance at Hu Ling and the others. Seeing they continued upward without looking back at them, she breathed a sigh of relief.

Zhang Jingdong gazed at the distant scenery, taking in Song Yunshan’s unique fragrance, feeling utterly delighted.

Though Song Yunshan was extremely shy, her eyes were full of excitement, and her slightly bewildered hands gradually wrapped around Zhang Jingdong’s waist.

But seeing that Zhang Jingdong had been holding her for several minutes without letting go, Song Yunshan feared being seen by Hu Ling and the others, and she became anxious.

”Let’s... let’s go quickly, or... they might see us.”

Zhang Jingdong took the opportunity to say, ”Alright, but... you have to kiss me first?”

Song Yunshan didn’t expect Zhang Jingdong to be so brazen, and she became a bit embarrassed and annoyed: ”Hey... you... you’re awful! You held me and I didn’t say anything, yet you still want... no!”

Zhang Jingdong slightly loosened his hold on Song Yunshan, placing his hands on her fragrant shoulders, gazing closely at her charming figure.

”But I already held you yesterday, and you just agreed to work with me to improve our relationship. I took the initiative to kiss you on the cellphone last night, so now it’s your turn to kiss me.”

Song Yunshan was still a bit hesitant: ”No way! I may have agreed to work on our relationship, but this... this is too fast, I’m not mentally prepared yet!”

Zhang Jingdong said earnestly, ”Song Yunshan, you have to understand, not everything needs to be ready to be done, especially when it comes to love.”

”Because love itself is an emotion, and when the emotion is there, everything happens naturally.”

”If you always wait until you’re fully prepared, you’ll definitely miss out on many beautiful moments.”

”So, tell me, did you feel your heart race or a kind of indescribable happiness when I hugged you just now?”

Song Yunshan bit her lip: ”...Well, I... indeed did.”

”That’s it! That means your heart has already accepted the idea of me being your boyfriend, and little kisses between couples are absolutely normal.”

”And I guarantee that after we kiss, you’ll surely enjoy it, and maybe you’ll want to kiss me from time to time in the future!”

Song Yunshan then met Zhang Jingdong’s warm gaze: ”How do you know so much? Tell me honestly, how many relationships have you been in this past year?”

Zhang Jingdong felt a sudden tightness in his chest.

Oh no, he forgot that this girl scored over 600 on her college entrance exam and got into a 211 university in Shanghai, a real academic achiever.

But he was an experienced man, knowing she didn’t really want to know how many relationships he had, she just wanted to lightly retaliate and shift her nervousness.

He quickly responded, ”Who says knowing all this means having had many relationships? Just read some novels and watch a few dramas, you know?”

”Haven’t you read novels by Qiongyao, Annie Baby, or Guo Xiaosi?”

Song Yunshan shook her head: ”No, I don’t like those romantic books.”

”What types of books do you like?”

”I like reading Liu Cixin’s novels.”

”Liu Cixin?” Zhang Jingdong chuckled: ”So you like science fiction! Which of his works do you like the most? ’Wandering Earth’? ’The Village Teacher’? Or ’Micro Era’?”

Song Yunshan looked surprised: ”You’ve read his novels too!”

These days, even though Da Liu has won quite a few awards, he hasn’t really become mainstream yet.

Especially when most bestsellers are still dominated by Jin Yong, Qiongyao, Han Han, and Guo Xiaosi, sci-fi enthusiasts are still a niche group.

But because they are a niche group, finding someone who shares the same interest is particularly joyful, especially when that someone is your boyfriend; the joy doubles instantly.

In his past life, Zhang Jingdong didn’t even know who Da Liu was at this point, but after reading ’Three-Body’ back then, he was deeply impressed by Liu’s talent, so he read many of his ancient works, which now came in handy.

So he said directly: ”Absolutely! This guy is a genius! And I think he hasn’t even reached his peak in creativity yet; his future works will surely become world-renowned!”

Song Yunshan’s eyes sparkled brightly: ”I also think he’s a highly imaginative writer, and I genuinely didn’t expect you to enjoy these kinds of novels too.”

Zhang Jingdong stared intently at her cute nose: ”I’ve already told you we are a perfect match made in heaven.”

”Whether it’s this long-lost reunion, the secret attentions during our school days, or now this shared hobby... it all proves this point.”

”And I believe that as we continue to spend time together, we will discover many more wonderful things.”

”Please trust me that being with me will be the happiest thing in your life.”

Song Yunshan’s heart warmed, and she nodded happily: ”...Mm.”

Seeing he had set the mood just right, Zhang Jingdong turned to look at Hu Ling and the others.

”They’re almost 100 meters behind us now; if you don’t kiss me soon, they might just turn around to look at us?”

Perhaps really fearing they would see or perhaps affected by their pleasant conversation, Song Yunshan actually leaned in and pecked Zhang Jingdong’s cheek.
