Forcing Me to Be a Godly Tycoon, Right?

Chapter 1676: Chapter 624: Reliving Old Memories with Her!

”So, in the end, he insisted on catching a glimpse of you, and seized the opportunity to overtake you all.”

”Finally, when he turned around to look at you, he slipped up and fell, bringing both himself and the bicycle down. Oh, you wouldn’t believe it, I ended up taking him home, and it nearly wore me out.”

Song Yunshan nodded: ”I remember. Back then, your bike was a black Flying Pigeon. Oh, wait, it was originally a black Flying Pigeon, then a purple Flying Pigeon, a red Flying Pigeon in twelfth grade, and a white Flying Pigeon in senior year.”

”Why did you switch bikes so many times back then? Not dedicated at all!”

Zhang Jingdong quickly blinked: ”It’s not about being dedicated; here’s what happened: in our class, several guys bought Flying Pigeons. Then, I had this crazy idea, I told them, ’Since we all, as brothers, have different colored Flying Pigeons, let’s pretend and switch bikes periodically, so others think we’re consistently changing bikes and perceive us as rich second generation.’ They thought it was a good idea and agreed, so we did it.”

”And you know what? This trick actually worked well. A buddy of mine even used it to date a girl from the art class...”

Just as Zhang Jingdong finished saying the last two words, he sensed something was off and quickly shut up, then turned to look at Song Yunshan.

Song Yunshan immediately laughed and said, ”Really, then you must’ve had some success back then too, right?”

It was the first time Zhang Jingdong saw Song Yunshan with such a smile, realizing that this seemingly pure and aloof high school prom queen could have such a playful side.

”Oh... alright, I’ll be honest. I did have those thoughts back then, but... perhaps because your class was right opposite ours and I saw you every day, it gradually elevated my aesthetic standards.”

”I almost ended up with a girl from the art class too, but then I felt that compared to you, she fell short in looks, temperament, and definitely in academics, so I firmly rejected her.”

Song Yunshan’s face brightened up: ”You’re honest... I still remember that girl was called Xu Jia.”

Zhang Jingdong immediately retorted: ”Song Yunshan, you even remember her name, and yet you dare say you had no thoughts about me back then?”

Song Yunshan blinked her beautiful eyes: ”That’s purely by accident hearing some gossip, and my memory has always been good, hence I remember.”

At this moment, Zhang Jingdong wrapped his arm around her waist: ”Can’t you satisfy my youthful vanity of being secretly admired by the prom queen of Yizhong? Even if I know you’re lying, I’d be thrilled.”

Song Yunshan was amused: ”...Alright, I... in fact, when I first met you in eleventh grade, I thought you were a very special guy.”

”Later, we had exams in the same hall several times, even sitting front and back twice, so I got curious about you.”

”Finally, due to a few outside-the-classroom encounters, I found myself developing a liking for you, and I kept secretly following you, often feeling the urge to confess... Would that do?”

Zhang Jingdong was utterly happy this time: ”Haha, you should’ve said this earlier. I knew my high school years were so glorious, so magnificent, so driven and striving; I must have been attractive back then, appealing to girls.”

”Now, receiving a confession from the esteemed prom queen, my high school years are truly complete!”

At this moment, Zhang Jingdong placed his hands on Song Yunshan’s shoulders: ”Since you’ve said that much, I’ll not hide anymore. Actually, I...”

Just as Zhang Jingdong was preparing for a long overdue heartfelt confession from their teenage years, a woman’s voice suddenly came from not far away.

”Yunshan?”

Both of them felt a sudden tension.

Zhang Jingdong immediately lowered his arms and turned with Song Yunshan to see who it was.

And upon seeing the person, both of them blushed instantly!

Even Zhang Jingdong, whose thick skin could compare with the Great Wall’s length, couldn’t withstand it.

Because the person was their high school three-year class teacher Gao Nan.

The crucial part is, she taught mathematics, and when Zhang Jingdong’s math teacher had a two-month maternity leave in twelfth grade, Gao Nan substituted for their class.

However, the only fortunate thing was that Gao Nan graduated from university a few years ago, and she’s only in her twenties now.

Moreover, she had a great personality, the kind of homeroom teacher who could easily blend in with the students.

Even now, Zhang Jingdong remembered a time in senior year when the school was strict, not even allowing them to play basketball.

Yet, several boys from one class would often sneak off to the playground during lunch break to play, getting caught several times.

Although Gao Nan would scold those boys each time, she always managed to retrieve the basketball for them.

There were even two occasions where basketballs from Zhang Jingdong’s third class got stuck, and Gao Nan helped retrieve them.

Because of this, Gao Nan was deeply loved by the boys from several classes.

So, at the moment seeing her, Zhang Jingdong blushed for once.

Gao Nan approached and looked at Song Yunshan meaningfully, then turned her gaze directly to Zhang Jingdong.

Upon recognizing Zhang Jingdong, a hint of satisfaction appeared in her eyes, akin to a mother seeing her daughter find a good man.

”If I haven’t misremembered, you should be Zhang Jingdong from the third class back then, right?”

Out of gratitude for past experiences and knowing she had genuinely taught them for some time, Zhang Jingdong nods respectfully: ”Yes, I’m Zhang Jingdong, Mr. Gao. You even substituted for our class back then.”

Gao Nan nodded, then said: ”Not only did I substitute classes, but I also helped retrieve basketballs a few times. You were the only one among the boys who played basketball almost daily and yet got into a top university.”

”So, when did you two... become more than classmates?”

Song Yunshan and Zhang Jingdong clearly didn’t expect Gao Nan to be so direct, instantly frozen on the spot.
