Forcing Me to Be a Godly Tycoon, Right?

Chapter 1101: Chapter 434: Successfully Took Her to the Hotel!

Leaving Zhongtian Building, Zhang Jingdong took Lin Shuwan and the others to the East Port Ferris Wheel.

This is currently the tallest Ferris wheel in Jiangdu.

Getting out of the car, Zhang Jingdong pointed to the giant Ferris wheel and said to Zhang Wenqi, ”Qiqi, would you like to experience the feeling of spinning in the air?”

Zhang Wenqi’s face lit up with excitement, ”Yes! This Ferris wheel is so tall!”

Zhang Jingdong immediately picked up Zhang Wenqi, carrying her on his shoulder, and led them to the ticket counter.

Since it was just past 8 PM, it was the best time to take the Ferris wheel and enjoy the night view of Jiangdu, so there were many people waiting in line at the ticket counter.

But since most of them were couples or families, despite the noise, everyone had a genuine smile on their faces, and the atmosphere was very harmonious.

Ever since her father passed away, Zhang Wenqi had not experienced such a family of three moment in a long time, especially now with Zhang Jingdong dotingly carrying her on his shoulder, which made her extremely happy, and her smile was exceptionally bright.

Lin Shuwan felt extremely gratified seeing this scene, and secretly gave Zhang Jingdong more credit in her mind.

They stood in line for over ten minutes before finally buying the tickets, then went to the second floor to wait.

By around 9 PM, they finally boarded the Ferris wheel.

However, it proved that their wait was worth it.

Just a minute later, Zhang Wenqi happily pointed into the distance and said, ”Godfather, Mom, look... how beautiful the Drum Tower is!”

”And that tower, wow, I can see a cruise ship...”

Seeing her happy expression, Zhang Jingdong and Lin Shuwan both revealed a knowing smile.

Zhang Jingdong said, ”Qiqi, there’s a tradition here; when you reach the highest point, you can make a wish. It’s said to be very effective, and any wish can come true!”

”Really...” Zhang Wenqi turned to look at Lin Shuwan, then said, ”Then I’ll make a good wish!”

Soon they rose higher, and Zhang Jingdong said, ”Qiqi, be ready, we’re almost at the highest point. I’ll count down for you!”

”...Okay.”

”Five... four... three... put your hands together, close your eyes, and start making your wish. Remember to keep it in your heart, don’t say it out loud, or it won’t come true!”

Zhang Wenqi did as told.

Zhang Jingdong took the opportunity to turn and look at Lin Shuwan.

He found Lin Shuwan looking at him.

Zhang Jingdong mouthed, ”Aren’t you going to make one?”

Lin Shuwan was slightly taken aback, then mouthed back, ”I already did... why don’t you make one?”

Zhang Jingdong smiled mischievously, ”I’m not one to make wishes because when I want something, I go and do it boldly!”

Saying this, he wrapped his arm around Lin Shuwan’s fragrant shoulders and gave her a firm kiss on her lips.

”Congratulations to the host for successfully kissing the target person, reward of 100,000 yuan!”

Lin Shuwan was caught off guard and immediately blushed, batting away Zhang Jingdong’s hand in embarrassment.

But she dared not startle Zhang Wenqi, so she continued to mouth, ”You... you’re so bad! Didn’t you say you wouldn’t force me?”

Zhang Jingdong pouted, ”I already warned you about this. I said I’d completely respect you in that regard, but I might occasionally hold your hand or kiss you, and you didn’t object, so you tacitly consented!”

”You... hmph...”

Seeing his unruly behavior, Lin Shuwan turned her head angrily.

Watching her angry but more attractive appearance, Zhang Jingdong then said to Zhang Wenqi, ”Qiqi, if the wish you made comes true within a year, we will come here once a year, and you can make a wish each time, okay?”

Zhang Wenqi nodded naturally, ”Okay!”

Half a minute later, seeing Lin Shuwan was still a bit upset, Zhang Jingdong smiled and said, ”Qiqi, does your wish have anything to do with Mom?”

Innocently, Zhang Wenqi replied, ”...Yes.”

Zhang Jingdong felt a twinge in his heart and continued, ”Then... does it have to do with your godfather?”

Zhang Wenqi then looked up at Lin Shuwan and nodded again, ”...Yes.”

Lin Shuwan couldn’t help but look at Zhang Wenqi.

Taking the opportunity, Zhang Jingdong said, ”Qiqi, since your wish involves Mom and your godfather, don’t worry, godfather and Mom will definitely work hard to make it come true!”

”Right, Qiqi’s mom?”

After a slight pause, Lin Shuwan turned to look at Zhang Jingdong.

Though there was still a bit of annoyance in her eyes, there was more shyness and... anticipation?

Soon, the Ferris wheel stopped, and the three of them exited the cabin and went downstairs.

Back in the car, Zhang Jingdong turned to ask Lin Shuwan, ”Which hotel did you book?”

”Four Seasons.”

”Alright, that’s fine, I won’t change it for you!”

He started the car, maneuvered smoothly, and the vehicle quickly disappeared into the night.

Halfway, there was suddenly no sound from the back.

Zhang Jingdong glanced back and saw Zhang Wenqi was already asleep.

So he quietly slowed the car down a little.

Twenty minutes later, the car slowly stopped at the entrance of the Four Seasons Hotel.

Lin Shuwan suddenly felt a bit conflicted; she didn’t want Zhang Jingdong to come up with them, but she couldn’t handle the luggage and hold Zhang Wenqi at the same time.

Zhang Jingdong seemed unaware of her hesitation and got out of the car.

He first took out their luggage from the trunk and then opened the rear door, cradling Zhang Wenqi in one arm.

Seeing this, Lin Shuwan had no choice but to get out too and said to Zhang Jingdong, ”Let me hold Qiqi.”
