Forcing Me to Be a Godly Tycoon, Right?

Chapter 652: Chapter 285: Indulging Yan Ning

”Bumper cars?”

Yan Ning couldn’t help but smile, ”Aren’t those for kids?”

Zhang Jingdong nonchalantly replied, ”Every adult was once a kid, though only a few people remember. Let me ask you, have you ever played bumper cars as a kid?”

Yan Ning quickly thought back, then shook her head, ”No, I haven’t.”

”Well then, you’ll love it!”

Yan Ning hesitated a bit, ”But... there are so many kids there, we...”

Zhang Jingdong laughed and shook his head, ”Don’t worry, the number of adults there has never been less than kids. Besides, it’s a weekday now, and at this time, there won’t be many people. We might even have the place to ourselves!”

Yan Ning felt a bit more at ease, ”Alright then.”

Half an hour later, they arrived at Tianxin Amusement Park.

They bought tickets and headed to the bumper cars, and it turned out Zhang Jingdong was right. There wasn’t a single person there!

Yan Ning was completely at ease now, her smile broadening. She even took the initiative to pick a car first, stepping ahead quickly.

Zhang Jingdong thought to himself, ”See, it’s not so bad after all,” and quickly went to select a car of his own.

Once in the car, Zhang Jingdong joked, ”Mr. Yan, let’s set the rules first. In a competitive game like this, no holding back or getting mad, alright?”

Yan Ning replied cheerfully, ”Who needs you to hold back? Bring it on! It’s not a fight, what do you think...”

Yan Ning deliberately left her sentence unfinished, then turned the steering wheel and charged towards Zhang Jingdong’s car.

Zhang Jingdong calmly remarked, ”As expected of the boss, truly cunning!”

Just as Yan Ning’s car was about to hit his, Zhang Jingdong accelerated and then smoothly made a big turn, dodging Yan Ning’s attack perfectly.

Yan Ning let out a playful cry, then followed with her own big turn, continuing to chase Zhang Jingdong.

Zhang Jingdong maneuvered again, dodging Yan Ning’s attack once more.

For a full five minutes, Yan Ning tried to catch Zhang Jingdong, but she couldn’t hit him even once.

And then, after another dodge, Zhang Jingdong suddenly launched an attack on Yan Ning.

Caught off guard, Yan Ning tried to imitate Zhang Jingdong by speeding up in a straight line and then turning to dodge.

But it seemed like Zhang Jingdong anticipated she would copy him; he didn’t follow her straight acceleration and instead attacked right when she was turning.

Yan Ning couldn’t dodge in time and ended up being hit hard by Zhang Jingdong!

”Hahaha... Mr. Yan, do you admit defeat?”

Yan Ning, both embarrassed and annoyed, shot him a glare, ”I admit defeat, my foot! Just you wait!”

With that, she immediately sped up, turned her car around, and charged at Zhang Jingdong.

Zhang Jingdong smirked and, once again, waited until she was close before skillfully maneuvering to dodge her attack.

After a half turn, he launched another precise attack on Yan Ning, successfully landing the hit.

And so, for the next ten minutes or so, this cycle repeated endlessly.

Yan Ning tried her hardest to hit Zhang Jingdong, but he kept evading.

Meanwhile, Zhang Jingdong hit Yan Ning accurately each time!

Finally, Yan Ning couldn’t take it anymore and called out in a playful voice, ”Zhang Jingdong, can’t you just let me hit you once? You’re so annoying!”

Zhang Jingdong laughed and said, ”Mr. Yan, we agreed at the start that there’d be no holding back, and you agreed as well!”

Yan Ning huffed, ”We did say that, but... I’m your girlfriend! You don’t know how to secretly let me win?”

”It’s not impossible, but... you’ll have to call me something nice first!”

Yan Ning rolled her eyes at him, instinctively glanced around, and seeing no one, she whispered, ”... Brother... is that good enough?”

”You need me, so that’s not quite enough anymore, huh?”

”Then what do you want me to call you?”

”Do you even have to ask? Think about it yourself!”

”Zhang Jingdong, don’t push it too far!”

”Mr. Yan, I’m your man now, so aside from that matter, what else between us is too much?”

Yan Ning bit her lip, then softly said, ”Alright then...”

”Husband.”

”Is that good enough now? No more demands from you!”

”I can’t help but admire your wisdom in running such a large corporation, so smart. Come on then!”

With these words, Yan Ning skillfully maneuvered and charged straight at Zhang Jingdong.

This time, Zhang Jingdong continued his evasive maneuver but deliberately made a small mistake, letting Yan Ning hit him.

Yan Ning was overjoyed and proceeded to ram into Zhang Jingdong’s car repeatedly!

After a good ten minutes, Yan Ning finally stopped her car, satisfied.

”Haha... this game is really fun!”

Seizing the moment, Zhang Jingdong suggested, ”Had enough? How about we move on to the next ride?”

”What else should we try?”

”This is an amusement park, there’s plenty of fun stuff. Haven’t you been here before?”

Yan Ning blinked her pretty eyes, ”I’ve never been here!”

”Alright, then we really picked the right day. Come with me!”

After that, they tried the swings, the merry-go-round, the pirate ship, the roller coaster, the Ferris wheel...

They kept playing until almost two o’clock.

Clearly, Yan Ning had never been to an amusement park before, proving the ”appeal doctrine” by having the time of her life!

Seeing that she was about to drag him to the next ride, Zhang Jingdong quickly said, ”Sis, how about we grab something to eat first, then continue? How about it?”

Yan Ning finally realized, a bit embarrassed, ”Alright, what should we eat?”

”Since we’re at the amusement park, how about we have a meal different from usual? What do you think?”

Yan Ning looked eager, ”Sure.”

Ten minutes later, they arrived at the entrance of a KFC near the amusement park.

Just as Zhang Jingdong was about to enter, Yan Ning instinctively pulled him back.

”We’re... going to eat this?”

Zhang Jingdong casually replied, ”Yeah, why?”

Yan Ning paused, then hesitantly said, ”I’ve never let Ranran and them eat this kind of junk food before, I...”

Seeing Yan Ning seemed serious, Zhang Jingdong said, ”Mr. Yan, being a perfect person 365 days a year is exhausting, so we need a few days to let ourselves go a little.”

”After all, we’re just human, not gods!”

”Plus, junk food brings a sense of indulgence and joy. With this sort of indulgence, people have less hostility in their hearts and are less likely to do more degenerate things!”

”Just like how with the game CS, many guys don’t get into real fights anymore!”

”Besides... they won’t see us anyway.”

Maybe it was because Zhang Jingdong’s earlier arguments made sense, or maybe that last line did the trick.

Yan Ning hesitated for two seconds, then slightly nodded, ”... Alright.”

Just as they were about to enter, suddenly a girl exclaimed, ”Mrs. Yan?”
