The Evolution Of A Goblin To The Peak

Chapter 1310: Great Shen Empire: Isabella’s Spatial Mastery

Isabella emerged from the side. Her face was melting, and her hair had been burned away. She ignored the pain as she thrust the dagger in her hand toward Teng Guan’s neck.

The tip of the dagger was just about to reach his neck when Teng Guan raised his other hand, blocking it with the back of his palm.

Clang!

A metallic sound echoed, and sparks flew as the dagger collided with the gauntlet.

Isabella gritted her teeth as strings of flesh emerged from her body. The fleshy strands flowed into her hand and toward the blade, fusing with it.

“AH!!”

Isabella roared as her strength surged.

Bang!!

Teng Guan’s eyes widened before he was blasted several hundred meters away.

His body rolled across the ground several times before he regained his footing. He looked at his hand first before raising his head.

“Her strength has grown… Is she planning to fight with all her might now? I thought she was reserving her strength so she could escape, but it seems I was wrong.”

Teng Guan looked ahead and saw nothing but water vapor rising from the sea. His perception couldn’t detect anything either.

“She vanished…”

He recalled that Isabella had used a high-level stealth technique when dealing with his men.

“AHHH!!”

Teng Guan roared, and a powerful field erupted from within his body, extending outward like a dome.

[Flaming Dominator Zone]!

The energy fluctuations rose to their highest point, and the temperature increased dramatically once again, reaching tens of thousands of degrees Celsius. The destructive power within it was even more terrifying, directly melting the entire area.

Swoosh!!

Isabella was far away, conjuring a barrier to protect herself.

“A high-level skill?!”

It was an area-of-effect skill that covered a radius of several kilometers. Her barrier was melting with every passing millisecond. If she hadn’t continuously poured her mana into it, the barrier would’ve melted away in less than a second.

‘His flames are different from Sister Erkigal’s, but they possess enough destructive force to melt my natural protective field instantly,’ she thought inwardly.

Teng Guan noticed her presence.

He had forced her to reveal herself, so he wouldn’t waste this opportunity. He rushed forward as the flames around his fists danced wildly.

Though he was surprised to see that Isabella’s appearance had greatly changed, it didn’t bother him. He simply thought that it must be the effect of some skill she had learned.

“Come!”

Teng Guan arrived in front of Isabella and threw a powerful punch. The flames around his fist swirled, turning into a flaming tornado.

[Finishing Flaming Fist]!!

The barrier shattered.

Isabella didn’t back down. She swung both daggers in her hands.

[Severing Spatial Blade]!!

The space around her blades folded.

In the next instant, the daggers and fist collided in midair.

The collision shook the very air.

The spatial structure of the area trembled.

BOOM!!

Two figures were forced back several hundred meters from each other. Isabella and Teng Guan looked at one another, knowing that the scale of the next rounds of their battle would escalate.

They had finished probing each other, and they were slowly beginning to use combat arts and spells.

Isabella placed a hand on her waist, and a bottle of potion emerged from her body. The parasite had covered her entire body with a layer of flesh, including her clothes and everything else around her. So, to take out the bottle of potion, she had to eject it from the flesh.

She swiftly removed the cap and drank the liquid inside in one go.

Thump!

She felt her strength and speed increase by a huge margin.

‘I have one hour before the effects of the potion disappear.’

Isabella took out another potion and threw it onto the ground.

Purple smoke exploded from the bottle and slowly mixed with the surrounding air. Moreover, the space around her moved silently, scattering the smoke throughout the area.

She wasn’t done yet.

Her aura rose dramatically as a dangerous glint flashed in her eyes while she looked at her opponent. The ground and air around her vibrated, and the flames surrounding her were pushed back, preventing them from approaching her.

[Blessing of the Hunt]!!

‘May the God of Hunt bless you to successfully hunt your prey.’

Isabella looked at Teng Guan as if he were her prey.

Teng Guan, on the other hand, radiated lightning on top of the flames surrounding him. The grin on his face grew wider as the flames and lightning danced together.

[Lightning Flame Will]!!

He took a step forward, and the ground burst open, adding more craters to the already devastated area. He launched himself like a rocket toward Isabella.

The distance of several hundred meters was easily covered by someone at the Eight Shackle Realm. To them, it was no more than a single step.

Whooosh!!

Isabella took a deep breath and prepared herself to clash with her enemy.

In the next moment, Isabella and Teng Guan clashed once again. This time, the scale of the battle reached another level.

BOOM!! BOOM!!

…

On the other side of the city, Black Blader was fighting against the forces of Yunze City, including the City Lord.

His men and the subordinates of Poisonous Vine fought against the forces of Yunze City. Multiple groups worked together to fight against the Gluttony Army that was attacking their city.

The battle demolished a huge part of the city as the combatants involved had even reached the Seventh Shackle Realm. As for Black Blader and the other leaders, they were all at the Eight Shackle Realm.

Suddenly, the combatants stopped as they turned their heads toward the shore.

“This energy…” Black Blader frowned as he recognized the intense energy fluctuations coming from that direction. “Teng Guan? Have they found the target? It seems that he’s fighting someone there.”

The City Lord and the other leaders of the various organizations in Yunze City also glanced toward the sea.

“The port…!”

“Is the Pavilion Master of the Heavenly Potion Pavilion fighting someone there?”

“I couldn’t feel the energy of the Flame Guardian, so it seems that the Pavilion Master is alone.”

They instantly knew that the battle at the shore must be related to the Heavenly Potion Pavilion. After all, the Pavilion was close to the seashore, and Isabella and Erkigal were both famous figures in their circle.

Although the Heavenly Potion Pavilion’s foundation was shallow, Isabella and Erkigal were both terrifying figures who could rival them. In fact, when the Pavilion was first established, some people tried to stop it, but they were all slain by Isabella and Erkigal.

A bloodbath occurred before the Heavenly Potion Pavilion was established.

Black Blader turned his attention back to his opponents. However, his mind remained on the battle at the seashore.

He could feel that Teng Guan had met his match. Although Teng Guan was only at the Intermediate Eight Shackle Realm, he was still incredibly powerful. It was surprising to see someone capable of fighting him one-on-one.

Black Blader thought that he would be able to easily decimate the forces of this city, but he was wrong. Each of these leaders was an Eight Shackle Realm expert. Now, there was another Eight Shackle Realm expert fighting Teng Guan.

They had really rushed this plan without gathering enough information.

Well, it couldn’t be helped. Someone had disrupted their plan, forcing them to adjust to the current situation.

…

At the seashore, the entire land was in ruins, and a vast amount of water had retreated far into the distance. Flames and lightning rolled across the land, destroying everything in their path.

Two figures could be seen clashing in midair. Each collision shook the very air, sending sweeping shockwaves outward.

They were Isabella and Teng Guan.

Their battle had reached a scale that enveloped the entire Yunze Port. Everything was shattered as the two unleashed their combat arts, and this was also the point where Isabella began to gain the advantage over her opponent.

Isabella was a rare type of Space Expert.

At the Third Stage, she could seemingly do anything she wanted to the spatial structure throughout the entire area. She teleported repeatedly, avoiding all of Teng Guan’s attacks.

Teng Guan grew frustrated as he could do nothing but hit empty air.

“This!! You bastard!!”

He roared with all his might. His gauntlets flickered with light, activating the equipment skill they possessed.

Hundreds of thousands of bolts of lightning descended from above like a heavenly punishment. On the ground, the land was engulfed by a highly concentrated sea of flames.

Lightning from above and flames from below.

Cracks formed in space.

Isabella remained calm as she looked at the enraged Teng Guan. She had already disrupted her opponent’s rhythm, so it would be easier from this point onward.

She folded the space around her.

The lightning struck, but it didn’t hit her. It simply passed through her body, and the same thing happened with the flames.

She was standing in a separate layer of space.

Unless one entered this layer, they wouldn’t be able to touch her. Of course, they could brute-force their way through it, but her Elemental Drive and mana were strengthening the spatial structure around her, making it difficult to do so.
