The Evolution Of A Goblin To The Peak

Chapter 1132 Desmon

Jethru, Manu, and the others scattered when they saw Eztein charging at them. However, they soon realized he wasnʼt after them. He flew straight toward the man writhing in pain.

”No!!”

”Attack him!!”

They immediately changed direction when they understood Ezteinʼs true goal. They gave chase, trying desperately to stop him.

A massive surge of mana swirled around the spear.

Eztein didnʼt look back. He gripped the spear tightly in his hand, raised it, and swung with all his might.

[Dividing Heavenʼs Wave]!!

A wave of highly concentrated triple-elemental energy burst from the spear. It tore through the air and mercilessly engulfed the man in its path.

Whoosh!!

The sheer force of the attack sent shockwaves rippling through the area. The ground trembled violently, as if on the verge of collapse. The intense pressure was highly destructive.

Eztein quickly turned around.

Jethru was already in front of him, slashing his sword toward Eztein. Eztein blocked it with his spear, but then felt a sharp pain in his stomach as his opponentʼs foot struck him.

It was just one kick, yet it felt like heʼd been hit twice.

Bang!!

Jethru was blasted several kilometers away.

Eztein took a deep breath and spotted four people charging at him from different directions. He didnʼt need to worry about the other three, as they were only in the Fourth Shackle Realm. But he had to be cautious of Manu, who was in the Fifth Shackle Realm and the only one who could potentially injure him.

He locked eyes with Manu and lunged toward her. He aimed the spear at her neck and thrust it at high speed.

At that moment, the other three Fourth Shackle Realm experts closed in beside him and attacked simultaneously.

Boom!!!

In the next second, a massive explosion of violent energy erupted. The clouds were blown away, and two figures were sent flying several kilometers.

Bang! Bang!

One of them was Eztein.

He crashed to the ground, creating a massive crater. He immediately stood up, waving his hand to disperse the smoke.

The wounds inflicted by the three experts on Eztein closed almost immediately.

Meanwhile, Manu glanced at her shoulder and saw a deep wound.

She gritted her teeth, intense pain flooding her senses. It was so excruciating she felt as if she might lose her mind. Emotions swelled in her chest, and she could barely contain them.

Her willpower was being tested now.

Death would have been the easy way out.

If she died, she wouldnʼt have to experience this kind of pain.

Countless thoughts flooded her mind.

”ARGHHH!!!”

Her scream reverberated through the air.

Jethru rushed to her side and grabbed her shoulders.

”NO!! IT HURTS!! DONʼT TOUCH ME!!” Manu screamed in agony.

Jethru immediately pulled his hands back. He gritted his teeth and glared in Ezteinʼs direction.

”You...!!” His eyes burned with fury.

”I thought you people were here to kill me. You came thinking you were above everyone else, right? Hehehe... Surprise! Iʼm here!” Eztein laughed, mocking them.

He bent his knees and launched himself into the air. His body streaked forward in a straight line toward Manu.

”Let me put her out of her misery!”

The red skulls swirling around him seemed to laugh at his words.

Jethru moved to intercept him, and they clashed.

Bang!! Bang!!

Both of them moved at blinding speed.

However, Jethru was at a disadvantage, forced to focus on avoiding and blocking Ezteinʼs relentless attacks. Eztein didnʼt care about defending at all. Thanks to the parasiteʼs regeneration, he only bothered to block strikes aimed at his vital parts.

Shockwave after shockwave rippled outward. Lights of various elements illuminated the sky as the two clashed fiercely.

The other three gritted their teeth and charged forward.

Boom!! Boom!!

...

On another planet.

Franklin and Isabella stood side by side, facing a group of people radiating intense energy.

”Another group has arrived, willing to be prey for us,” Franklin said, a huge smile on his face.

Isabella simply glanced at him and said nothing. She turned her attention back to the approaching group and readied herself for battle.

This group was stronger than the army they had just defeated.

The soldiers of the Astros stood their ground, knowing what was about to come. They contacted other bases around the planet to prepare for the battle.

The Astros Empire.

The most powerful empire had discovered something beyond them: a civilization several times larger and stronger than theirs. They did everything they could to fight these enemies, but they kept losing.

”Well, letʼs get started right away.”

Franklin dashed forward fearlessly, his fighting intent surging as his power burst forth.

[Dream Power II]!

White smoke seeped from his body as strings of flesh wrapped around him, forming armor.

”Letʼs chip down their numbers first!”

Franklin laughed madly.

Isabella lowered her head and slowly hid her presence. She vanished from her position without anyone noticing her at all.

With someone as eye-catching as Franklin drawing all the attention, concealing herself was easier than usual. It would give her plenty of opportunities to eliminate some of their opponents.

Ohm!!

Franklinʼs dream power surged out like a tidal wave, spreading to encompass a vast area.

[Extreme Nightmare Art]!!

[Dream Eater]!!

As the wave of energy washed over the group, they felt drowsy. Voices began whispering in their ears.

”Wake up!!” the man leading the group shouted, his voice booming with power as it reverberated throughout the area.

”Too late,” Franklin laughed.

He raised his hand as it transformed into a blade. With a swift motion, he swung it, sending countless razor-sharp winds hurtling forward.

”This is it.”

The leader of the group frowned. He stepped forward and grabbed the greatsword strapped to his back. With a powerful slash, he carved a glowing cross in the air.

The cross-shaped slash in the air spun at high speed, blocking most of the razor-sharp winds. However, it didnʼt stop them all. A few of the blades slipped through and struck some of his men.

Franklin hovered in the air, studying the groupʼs leader. ”Oh, a strong one. This will be interesting.”

The leader took a deep breath. He had no idea what kind of power this old man was using—it was his first time encountering anything like it. It was hard to react to because he didnʼt know how it could manifest.

He turned his head and saw some of his comrades collapsed on the ground. They had fallen asleep, screaming as if they were being tortured to death.

”If youʼre not going to make the first move, you might as well lay down your head,” Franklin said, charging forward with a laugh. ”Be careful—you wouldnʼt want to fall asleep in the middle of a battle.”

Whoosh!!

Hidden in the darkness, Isabella watched the battle from afar.

”Sir Franklin is enjoying himself… His opponent clearly has the advantage in strength and speed, yet he doesnʼt seem to be at a disadvantage,” she muttered to herself.

She slipped her hand into the small bag hanging at her waist. Feeling the potions inside, she knew she would have to help soon. Franklin wouldnʼt be able to fight this entire group on his own.

...

On another planet suffering from the Councilʼs attack,

Alice hovered in the air, radiating powerful energy. She stared at a newly arrived group of enemies.

Amanda was on the ground, while Lydia stood with the other Astros soldiers. The entire land vibrated constantly as Aliceʼs energy clashed with the enemy forces.

”We just received a report that several planets have already fallen…” Lydia muttered, a gloomy look on her face.

The Councilʼs forces truly werenʼt giving them any chance to recover. The only planets that hadnʼt been taken were this one and two others, which were being defended by Eztein, Torkez, Franklin, and Isabella. Battles on those two planets were still ongoing.

The forces the Council had sent this time were much stronger than they had expected.

The leader of the Councilʼs army on this planet was a tall man, nearly seven feet in height, with long blond hair and clad in full silver plate armor. He was armed with a sword in each hand.

”Iʼm Desmon, Captain of the Silver Falcon Group. Iʼm surprised—I didnʼt think Iʼd meet a Sixth Rank here,” he said, studying Alice as she faced them. ”Iʼm glad I came. With your strength, the other groups wouldnʼt have been able to withstand you. You would have crushed them easily.”

Desmon was familiar with all the groups attacking other planets. He knew they would be defeated if they faced the woman standing before him.

”Where did you come from? Or maybe... are there others as strong as you on other planets too?” he asked.

Alice didnʼt respond. Instead, she let her energy surge, exerting crushing pressure on Desmonʼs group. She was already thinking about how she would occupy all the strong fighters on the enemy side.

It seems I wonʼt be able to get any more information, Desmon thought, narrowing his eyes. He stepped forward with a burst of energy.

Boom!!

Sparks flew everywhere as Desmon and Alice stood face to face.
