The Evolution Of A Goblin To The Peak

Chapter 1121 In the City

The titan glanced down at his body and muttered,

”A forbidden spell is still a forbidden spell... It managed to damage me.”

Without hesitation, he took flight toward the city.

No one in this area had the strength to stop him. The strongest was Chief Captain Sett below—only Seventh Shackle Realm.

He was coming to kill the famed Blood Lightning Monster.

In a shadowed corner, Arden knelt, coughing up a torrent of blood.

”That damn monster... Heʼs got too many tricks up his sleeve! I swear... Iʼm going to kill him!” Arden roared, eyes blazing with fury.

If that spell had struck him head-on, the damage would have been far worse—possibly fatal.

”Blood Lightning Monster should die!”

...

In the city, Alice and Vashno stood side by side, flanked by a group of warriors. Before them loomed a titan with bluish skin, his oppressive aura pressing down on everyone nearby like a physical weight.

The titanʼs eyes scanned the battlefield, taking in the corpses of fallen titans and giants scattered across the ground.

It was clear who had dealt those kills.

”This is dangerous...” Vashno muttered under his breath.

Alice nodded in agreement.

The other warriors remained silent, their gazes locked on the giantʼs movements, wary and alert.

One thing was certain:

The titan before them was undoubtedly at the Seventh Shackle Realm—someone at the stage of Hero-rank power.

Whoosh!!

The titan vanished from his spot, only to reappear high above them. Without hesitation, he swung his massive fist downward.

[Ocean Fist]!!

Alice, Vashno, and the other warriorsʼ eyes widened in alarm. One warrior reacted instantly, stepping forward to conjure a shimmering barrier.

Bang!!

The titanʼs fist slammed into the barrier, sending a shockwave through the air. A massive surge of water flooded the area, soaking everything in an instant.

Rain began to pour, heavy and relentless.

Alice narrowed her eyes and stomped firmly on the ground. The temperature plummeted, and the soaked earth quickly transformed into slick ice beneath their feet.

One by one, the warriors sprang into action, moving swiftly to counter the titanʼs assault and contain the spreading ice and water.

Boom!!

”We have no choice—fight with everything youʼve got! Donʼt hold back!” one of the warriors shouted.

[Fighting Master: Ultima]!!

[Triple Element Drive: Wind, Lightning, and Time Integration]!!

Without hesitation, the warrior charged fearlessly at the Seventh Shackle Realm titan.

It was Welfaz, the Fighting Star.

He was the same warrior Souta had faced in the past when proving his strength.

Though Welfaz was still at the Sixth Shackle Realm, he had grown far stronger than before. Once only slightly stronger than the Elders of Walpurgis Night, now he could rival the Supreme Elder—and perhaps even surpass them.

Boom!!

Welfaz collided with the titan mid-air, sending shockwaves rippling through the battlefield.

”Back him up!”

Vashno soared into the air, his body glowing with a radiant golden light. A magnificent pair of golden wings tinged with purple unfurled from his back, beating powerfully as he joined the fray.

One by one, the warriors surged forward, united in their assault.

With Welfaz leading the charge, they fought as a seamless unit, each compensating for the othersʼ weaknesses.

Their elemental attacks collided spectacularly in midair, painting the battlefield with streaks of wind, lightning, fire, and water.

The raw power of their strikes shattered nearby buildings, sending debris flying.

Boom!! Boom!!

But a Seventh Shackle Realm warrior was a different caliber entirely.

The titan snatched one of the warriors and hurled him straight toward Alice.

Before she could react, the titan punched the air, unleashing a crushing wave of water elemental force toward Welfaz.

Simultaneously, a razor-sharp blade of water shot from the titanʼs mouth, slicing through the air like a deadly spear.

Whoosh!!

Vashno twisted his body with lightning speed, narrowly avoiding the razor-sharp blade of water. His wings spread wide, unleashing piercing rays of golden light that cut through the air.

At the same time, multiple shadowy figures materialized, swarming the titan from all directions.

Boom!!

Alice and Vashno exchanged knowing glances.

They recognized the attackers immediately—Soutaʼs doppelgangers.

”What is this? Doppelgangers?!” The titanʼs eyes narrowed, fury flaring as the shadowy clones pressed their assault.

”Continue!” Alice commanded, her voice ringing clear.

A golden spear manifested in her hand. With a powerful thrust into the air, a radiant beam of golden light erupted, illuminating the battlefield.

There were eight of them in total. Five warriors were at Sixth Shackle Realm, while the remaining three hovered at Fifth Shackle Realm. Their role was clear: provide support from the rear. A direct confrontation with the titan would mean a swift defeat.

Fortunately, Welfaz was different. Among all the Sixth Shackle Realm experts, his strength stood out.

With the backing of his comrades, he could trade blows with a Seventh Shackle Realm titan.

Boom!!

A tremendous force erupted, hurling everyone hundreds of meters away. They crashed against scattered buildings, debris flying everywhere.

The titanʼs voice boomed, filled with cold pride.

”Strong. No wonder youʼve defeated my fellow titans. But Iʼm on a different level—Iʼve already broken seven shackles.”

The titanʼs voice echoed across the battlefield.

He had acknowledged them—their strength exceeded that of titans at their level.

”I, Eldian, will take you seriously.”

From the thick smoke, Eldian emerged. Rain poured heavily around him, and his towering frame radiated a bluish light that made the very air hum with pressure.

Tiny wounds dotted his body—the only damage theyʼd managed to inflict. And most of those came from Welfaz.

Welfazʼs expression darkened, and the others shared his grim mood.

”This is bad…” Vashno muttered, his voice low. ”Heʼs done holding back.”

”We wonʼt last if we lose focus,” Alice said, her tone sharp and resolute.

The titan before them—Eldian—was now channeling his full power, invoking his Element Drive in tandem with advanced combat arts.

He was serious.

And from this moment on, the battle was no longer about holding ground.

It was about survival.

Suddenly, Eldian paused and turned his head to the side.

Ohm!!

A powerful wave of best feram surged through the air, pressing down on the surroundings like a tidal wave of energy.

Alice and Vashno instinctively turned, their expressions tense as they felt the familiar fluctuation.

”This energy signature…” Welfaz muttered, eyes widening. He recognized it too.

In the next instant, a blur shot through the sky.

Whoosh!!

Souta appeared, charging straight toward Eldian like a missile of blood and lightning.

Eldian narrowed his eyes and crossed his arms just as Souta collided with him.

BOOM!!

The impact thundered across the battlefield.

Souta drove Eldian into the ground, carving a deep gully through the terrain as their clash sent shockwaves through the air.

They grappled, raw power crackling between them as the land trembled beneath their struggle.

Then—

Boom!!

A violent ripple of energy exploded outward as the two were flung in opposite directions, crashing through debris and scattering rubble in their wake.

”Souta!” Alice exclaimed, relief and urgency mixing in her voice as she caught sight of him.

”Is that… the Grain Leader Souta?” Welfaz muttered, narrowing his eyes. It was his first time seeing Souta in his white figure, and the unfamiliar form left him momentarily confused.

Souta hovered in midair, his aura crackling. He glanced at Alice and the others, his expression firm.

”Go. Leave this to me,” he said calmly, but there was an edge to his voice. ”The situation will only get more dangerous from here.”

His instincts screamed a warning—one that didnʼt point toward the titan heʼd just hurled away. No, this threat was different. It was sharper… heavier. It was him—the Eight Shackle Realm titan from before.

Alice, Vashno, and Welfaz exchanged looks and nodded. They understood. As powerful as they were, this battle was on a different level—the domain of Hero-rank.

Without hesitation, they retreated to regroup and secure the remaining warriors.

As they left, Souta turned his attention back to the titan, his expression sharpening.

He had arrived just in time, using the [Shadow Ball] heʼd planted earlier as a contingency. Fortunately, the sphere had remained intact, shielded from the chaos by sheer chance—or foresight.

Now, it was time to finish what had begun.

Eldian hovered in the air, his expression sharp as his eyes fixed on the white-cloaked figure before him.

”A Fourth Stage warrior with this much power? Youʼre abnormal. Unnatural,” he said flatly, his voice echoing through the battlefield like a distant storm. ”This kind of strength doesnʼt belong to your realm.”

Souta didnʼt answer. He simply observed, cold and silent. Every muscle in his body was coiled, ready to explode at a momentʼs notice.

ʼWeaker than Arden… but still dangerous. If that Eight Shackle titan returns, I wonʼt stand a chance alone. I hope someone notice my situation…ʼ

The truth was hard to deny: defeating one Seventh Shackle Realm titan was already pushing his limit. Two opponents at that level—or higher—was suicide.

”I need to end this fast.”

With a flick of his wrist, Soutaʼs bracelet glowed with a brilliant light.

Ohm!!

Two radiant figures appeared beside him, swirling in perfect harmony—opposites in form, but bound by a powerful balance.

[Yin-Yang Twin Spirits]!

The two spirits circled him.

[Yin-Yang Unification]!

A surge of power erupted from Soutaʼs body, distorting the very air around him. His presence ballooned as blood-colored lightning danced wildly across his limbs. His aura twisted into a blend of perfect harmony and unrelenting chaos.

This was the power of a universal-grade artifact.

The twin spirits immediately charged at Eldian on Soutaʼs command. With the amount of energy he still possessed, Souta estimated that he could cast the forbidden spell a few more times.

ʼIʼll prepare it.ʼ

He bent his knees and launched forward. Blood-colored lightning crackled around his sword as he joined the assault.

Boom!!

Souta unleashed a relentless flurry, trying to overwhelm Eldian and end the fight quickly. His blade slashed across the titanʼs body, each strike amplified by the furious energy of the lightning.

Eldian gritted his teeth as wounds rapidly accumulated. His opponent was faster and stronger—superior in every way.

And then—something changed.

The battle between Souta and Eldian had just begun when an intruder arrived.

A figure descended from above.

Boom!!

Smoke billowed into the air as a massive silhouette emerged from within it.

It was the Eight Shackle Realm titan. Beside him stood Arden, bloodied but still full of spite.

The titan glanced at Souta and said, ”You think youʼre the only one with a teleportation skill? I have one too. Itʼs only short-distance, but itʼs more than enough.”

”Blood Lightning Monster, hahaha! This time, you wonʼt escape!” Arden laughed, his voice filled with malice.

Soutaʼs expression darkened as he assessed the new situation.

ʼSouta, be careful. Donʼt engage without a plan. Find a way to escape... or draw them into a higher-level battlefield,ʼ Sayaʼs voice echoed in his mind, steady and calm.
