Prodigal System in the Flourishing City

Chapter 1350: Chapter 1352: Journey to South Africa

Lu Xiaobu bought a ticket and headed straight to South Africa.

However, on the way, he received another call from Elder Yu.

”Xiaobu, are you going to South Africa?” Elder Yu chuckled bitterly: ”Weren’t you just daring enough to come back from America?”

”Something came up.” Lu Xiaobu said vaguely.

He couldn’t just say he was going to South Africa to buy a few mines and build a bed, right?

”Alright, but be careful over there; it’s the most chaotic place, robberies and such are petty issues, and there’s even a chance of war breaking out anytime.” Elder Yu advised.

”I know. I won’t be there for long this time, and I doubt many people know me there.” Lu Xiaobu shrugged.

South Africa is different from other places; they’re really not interested in celebrities.

The name Lu Xiaobu might be recognized in America, Japan, Russia, Australia, Europe, etc.

But in Africa, it’s probably unlikely.

It’s better among the upper class, but the ordinary people don’t care about such things!

”That might not be the case. You just made quite a fuss in America, and it’s highly possible that mercenaries or assassins have targeted you; they’re desperate, so be extra careful.” Elder Yu reminded again.

”Got it.” Lu Xiaobu nodded.

”Also, we have people over there. If you need anything, just contact me.” Elder Yu said helplessly. If possible, he really wished he could keep Lu Xiaobu in check.

But clearly, that’s impossible; Lu Xiaobu’s personality can’t be restrained!

...

After finishing the conversation with Elder Yu, Lu Xiaobu boarded the plane and headed straight to South Africa.

Still in first class.

In fact, for those who frequently fly, they notice one thing: the destination’s characteristics can truly be seen based on the passengers.

Last time when going to America, although many were artists, even the non-artists had that faint trace of pride on their faces.

This time is different; among the passengers, what you see is not pride but a roguish aura.

No matter what the passengers do, there’s a hint of roguishness on their faces; clearly, South Africa isn’t a very peaceful place.

Of course, besides the roguish aura, there are those shiny diamond-like things.

...

After a sixteen-hour flight, Lu Xiaobu deplaned in South Africa.

Following the passage, he arrived at the customs inspection hall.

It’s already packed with people.

They divided the travelers arriving at the hall into several passages: holders of African passports, foreign passports, and local passports.

However, due to the sheer number of people and the lack of management, each entry point was overcrowded.

A lot of black people.

What Lu Xiaobu couldn’t stand the most was the unique smell of Westerners mixed with the heavy perfume they wore to mask the smell, making the air here quite unpleasant.

Almost to the point of suffocating, making Lu Xiaobu a bit dizzy.

Back in America, the ventilation was good, and cleanliness was maintained, so one didn’t feel it as much.

But now, oh, it’s really overwhelming!

He genuinely didn’t like those perfumes with overly strong scents; they felt very harsh to the nose!

Not to be racially biased, but truthfully, the reason the perfume industry abroad is far ahead of domestic ones is because of their strong body odors!

Soon, a person in a black uniform led Lu Xiaobu and Zhang Meng to a dedicated foreigner passage.

There were significantly fewer people here, and the smell was much milder, making Lu Xiaobu feel a bit more comfortable.

People say the efficiency here is low.

Previously, Lu Xiaobu thought it was an exaggeration.

Now it seems, well, it’s true.

Just one immigration officer reviewing a massive crowd, moving at a snail’s pace!

Plus, due to Lu Xiaobu’s rush this time, Liang Lan couldn’t make detailed arrangements in advance, so there’s no arrangement here, nor a way to pass through quickly!

There’s a saying: even if you have privileges, the service channel must be provided for those privileges.

If there’s no service channel, your privilege is wasted.

So, obediently queue up.

When Lu Xiaobu was getting a bit impatient, it was finally his turn.

He saw earlier how a fat woman had harassed someone before him, asking a slew of questions like Gou Qilang.

And all in English.

So!

Lu Xiaobu really didn’t want to waste words!

He took out a stack of locally prepared cash from his luggage and tossed it onto the table.

”Bang!”

The fat woman said nothing, stamped it, stood up, and bowed to let Lu Xiaobu pass!

People behind him saw this scene and showed shocked expressions.

That stack of money was substantial, nearly a year’s wages for people here!

My god, just how wealthy is this man!

”Phew!”

Lu Xiaobu walked out of the hall, finally took a deep breath.

The smell in the hall had finally disappeared completely.

Moreover, the environment here was alright too, with fresh air, the sky was blue, clouds were floating like big cotton balls, and plants were visible everywhere.

However, the only issue was that the sun was truly scorching.

So scorching that you could clearly feel the pain on your skin.

”Dammit, let’s get things done quickly and head back. If I stay a few more days, I’ll get tanned.” Lu Xiaobu said helplessly.

He hailed a taxi, told them to head to the nearest car dealership, and left it at that.

If they wanted to take a longer route, so be it; it was no big deal.

Arrived at the place.

Buying cars, dealing with driving licenses, and all sorts of issues, everything cleared the way with money.

As long as you can get it done as quickly as possible, name the price!

Really, aside from the initial crowd in the hall that couldn’t be helped, everything else flowed smoothly with money, very efficiently!

Of course, due to Lu Xiaobu being so generous, it did lead to some issues to be discussed later.

”Young Master, where to first?” Zhang Meng drove on the road, inquiring.

”First to the hotel, need some rest.” Lu Xiaobu rubbed his head.

He hadn’t rested well on the plane, and being smothered in the hall earlier felt exhausting.

”Alright.” Zhang Meng nodded.

Liang Lan had already booked the hotel, so they could head straight there.

There were quite a few vehicles on the road, and there were often those with the music blaring loudly, seemingly wanting the world to hear their tunes.

And the owners of these vehicles were mostly black people, considered a local feature.

Currently, what annoyed Lu Xiaobu the most was—dammit, the signal is too slow!

Having gotten used to 4G, now here, watching that spinning circle was driving him to want to smash the phone!

Well, the hotel should have wifi!

However, before they even reached the hotel, trouble came their way!
