Prodigal System in the Flourishing City

Chapter 980: Chapter 978: Slap

Lu Xiaobu and Sun Wanqi heard the sound, and their brows instantly furrowed as they looked at the newcomer.

The newcomer was a shifty-eyed fellow, not looking like a good person at all!

”This person’s original name is Hu Kailai. He used to be from the Heavenly Dynasty, a downright traitor, and now he’s obtained Japanese nationality!” Sun Wanqi said to Lu Xiaobu through gritted teeth.

Even though Lu Xiaobu could be infuriating, he mostly did things for fun.

However, this Hu Kailai was different; he was a complete traitor!

Back when he was still a citizen of the Heavenly Dynasty, he got arrested by the police multiple times due to his excessive pro-Japanese actions that endangered public safety!

Now that he’s taken on Japanese nationality, he’s become even more reckless!

”Traitor?” Lu Xiaobu raised an eyebrow.

Although he didn’t know the specifics, just based on Sun Wanqi’s identity, upbringing, and international insight, for her to call someone a traitor was no easy feat!

However, once she uttered those words, that person was either immensely guilty or utterly unforgivable!

While the two of them spoke in low voices.

”Sun Wanqi, Queen Sun, why aren’t you saying anything!” Hu Kailai said lewdly while looking at Sun Wanqi, ”As someone with experience, let me teach you, although this thing looks real, it can’t compare to the real thing! If Queen Sun is willing, I’d be more than happy to help!”

This was downright harassment!

Sun Wanqi’s face immediately turned deathly pale!

She already disliked this person, and now she disliked him even more!

She really wanted to give this guy a hard slap!

But she couldn’t; Hu Kailai was a lackey of the organizers, hitting him could have serious consequences!

Yet she couldn’t just let him leave like this!

Otherwise, he’d certainly go out and spread rumors!

Do I really have to pay this traitor hush money?!

Mad! It’s really frustrating!

Compared to Sun Wanqi’s anger, Hu Kailai was gloating.

He had struck gold!

This time, not only could he get hush money, but more importantly, he had something on Sun Wanqi.

As long as he had this leverage, he could keep benefiting!

Maybe, just maybe, he could actually have a taste of her!

The thought of pinning the Queen beneath him was overwhelmingly exciting!

He felt like he was drooling!

Sun Wanqi’s team watched this unfold, gritting their teeth in anger, yet feeling helpless!

On someone else’s turf, what could they do!

Oh well, just downplay the big issues, and the small ones will vanish!

And it was at this moment!

”Smack!”

A loud slap landed viciously on Hu Kailai’s face!

Instantly!

The saliva Hu Kailai was about to drool got slapped back!

Simultaneously, five clear finger marks appeared on his face!

Soon, half of his face was swollen!

No doubt! It was Lu Xiaobu who hit him!

”Your skin’s really thick! My... my hand hurts from hitting it!” Lu Xiaobu almost said ”Young Master”.

This slap left everyone stunned!

Sun Wanqi covered her mouth in shock, staring blankly at Lu Xiaobu!

Lu Xiaobu! Oh, Lu Xiaobu!

You know your temper is fiery!

But could you please consider the bigger picture?!

Even if not for my sake, at least consider your situation!

You’re feeling satisfied now!

But once Hu Kailai leaks this, it’ll all be over!

Sun Wanqi’s team looked equally bewildered!

They knew Young Master Bu had a short fuse, but they didn’t expect it to be this explosive!

No discussion, just a direct backhand slap?!

But, undeniably, their hearts felt immensely satisfied!

Indeed, violence may not be the best solution, but it is undoubtedly the most direct and satisfying method!

As for Hu Kailai, he too was utterly confused, incredulously touching his face!

Instantly, a sharp pain made him cry out in agony!

Then, a surge of anger erupted from his chest!

He had been hit!

He was actually hit by a lowly Chinaman!

Unbelievable! Outrageous!

”You dare hit me?! And claim your hand hurts?!” Hu Kailai roared at Lu Xiaobu.

”So what if I hit you?” Lu Xiaobu sneered!

Then!

With a backhand!

Another slap!

”Smack!”

This time, both sides of his face were swollen!

”Ah!” Hu Kailai roared, viciously saying, ”I’m going to tell the organizers! Have your performance canceled and get you expelled from Japan! Your reputation will be ruined!”

Hearing this, Sun Wanqi and her team looked somewhat grim!

Indeed, it has come to this!

Sun Wanqi’s assistant stepped forward, trying to persuade Lu Xiaobu.

But she was stopped by Sun Wanqi!

Sun Wanqi shook her head.

Forget it, why bother!

She knew Lu Xiaobu had this kind of personality; she should’ve been prepared!

If she wasn’t ready, who could she blame?!

”Ha ha ha! Afraid now!” Hu Kailai burst into arrogant laughter!

He was immensely pleased with himself!

Daring to hit me?! Truly courting death!

However, just as everyone prepared to turn and leave!

”Smack!”

Lu Xiaobu slapped him again and said, ”Go ahead! I’ll be waiting! Kick us out?! I’d love that! Think carefully, who should be begging who now!”

As these words left his mouth, Sun Wanqi and her team felt nothing!

But Hu Kailai’s face changed dramatically!

How did he know?!

He knew that what this guy said was true!

Why he came here was exactly to welcome Sun Wanqi!

To welcome means to beg!

Indeed! It wasn’t that Sun Wanqi needed them, but their president personally instructed him—no matter the cost, they must keep Sun Wanqi!

He was just bullying Sun Wanqi into thinking otherwise, planning to suppress them first, then pretend to graciously let them go!

In doing so, he could gain the most out of it!

But how did this guy know what the president personally told him?!

He truly was dumbfounded inside!

Seeing this, Lu Xiaobu sneered, ”Let’s go!”

After speaking, Lu Xiaobu turned and walked away.

Although Sun Wanqi and her team were a bit confused, they originally planned to leave, so they turned to follow!

However!

At this moment!

”Wait!” Hu Kailai spoke, swallowing hard, ”Don’t go! Please don’t go!”

They couldn’t leave, if they did, the president would kill him!

He mustn’t let them leave!

”Smack!”

Lu Xiaobu turned, delivering another vicious slap!

These few slaps left Hu Kailai with a mouthful of blood!

Several teeth were knocked out!

His heart was filled with murderous intent towards Lu Xiaobu!

But he dared not express it!

He had to keep them here, no matter the cost!

Thus!

Sun Wanqi and her team witnessed an incredibly shocking scene!
