Prodigal System in the Flourishing City

Chapter 961: Chapter 959: Sleeping

Do you know what Lu Xiaobu saw?

In just the time it took to have a short chat, almost all the kids passing by the little girl ended up surrounding her, all chattering away.

Of course, they were mostly little girls, with just one or two boys.

”Who would’ve thought this little girl is so popular?” Lu Xiaobu smacked his lips in wonder; her charisma seems quite impressive!

”So, you see, I’m not bluffing,” Xiaomin’s father chuckled.

”Hahaha!” Lu Xiaobu laughed happily, seeing the little girl being so well-liked obviously made him quite pleased.

The little girl seemed to sense Lu Xiaobu’s gaze, turned her head, and looked at him proudly, full of a showing-off demeanor.

”This little girl,” Lu Xiaobu continued to be amused.

Just like that, the group continued walking inside.

At this moment, a basketball suddenly flew over, landing in front of the group of kids, almost hitting them and scaring one timid child to tears.

Lu Xiaobu looked back and saw a group of older kids playing basketball on the playground.

He didn’t mind it too much. After all, when kids play sports, mistakes are inevitable; an apology usually settles it.

However, one boy came over to the little girls and sneered, ”Coward.”

After saying that, he went to pick up the ball.

Hey, Lu Xiaobu, with his fiery temper, thought, who taught him such bad manners?!

He rolled up his sleeves and was about to step forward.

At that moment, he saw his little girl stepping on the basketball, blocking the boy from picking it up.

Then, the little girl looked at the boy who was a head taller than her and shouted, ”Apologize!”

Lu Xiaobu stopped his action and chuckled upon seeing this.

Nice, nice, true to the Lu family style—this fiery temper, this sense of justice is awesome!

Let’s see how the little girl handles it first.

If she can’t handle it, he’ll step in!

”Get lost, little girl!” The boy, clearly embarrassed by the girl’s action, bent down, ready to snatch the ball by force!

Many little girls watching showed a hint of fear.

”Chenxi, let it go!”

”Yeah, we can’t mess with them!”

”Those are older students, and they hit hard!”

”Chenxi, just give them the ball!”

”...”

However!

The Lu family isn’t that easy to deal with!

So.

”Bang!”

The little girl, without a word, kicked the basketball away and stood with hands on her hips, looking at the boy in front of her, ”If you don’t apologize today, let’s see if you can take the ball!”

”Hey! You little brat!” The boy got even angrier.

Not only him, but the other boys who were playing also came over.

Needless to say, the boys, generally a head taller than Chenxi, still held a considerable intimidation over the girls around Chenxi.

Many little girls were frightened and took several steps back.

Only the little girl stood there with her hands on her hips, showing no fear, ”What’s up?! You made a mistake and now you think you’re in the right?!”

”Don’t think just because you’re a girl, we won’t dare hit you!” The boys retorted, trying hard to regain face after her scolding.

”Hit me?” The little girl’s face darkened. She lifted her foot and kicked at the boy in front of her.

Aimed right for the sensitive part!

In this regard, she’s just like the Lu family—won’t make a move unless it’s deadly!

Although it might be a bit harsh for kids, it’s not excessive for bratty kids!

”Ouch!”

The boy gasped, taking two steps back!

Although the little girl’s strength wasn’t much, the pain inflicted on that part was beyond words!

”You’re asking for it!”

The other boys, seeing one of their own hurt, were instantly furious.

It looked like they were about to make a move!

But then!

”Teacher! Someone wants to hit me!”

Chenxi immediately started shouting.

The teachers, upon hearing the noise, quickly came over and stopped the boys who were about to act!

The boys were beyond frustrated!

When you hit us, you didn’t hold back!

When it’s our turn, you call the teacher?!

How can you be such a rascal!

Xiaomin’s father, beside Lu Xiaobu, was stunned by the sequence of events, ”My goodness! Little brother, how are you guys teaching your kids?! It’s amazing!”

He was truly astonished, seeing such skills of holding the moral high ground, not moving unless provoked, striking first if the enemy moves, and leveraging force from the enemy—many adults can’t even manage this!

Yet here he saw it from a little girl!

”She must have picked it up from being around us,” Lu Xiaobu chuckled.

This little girl hangs around at home all the time; even if you don’t teach her, she can pick it up by observing!

This is what people often refer to as toxic chicken soup; don’t assume that children from rich families are all spoilt brats. Actually, because of their living environment, they’re destined to have a broader perspective than ordinary kids from a young age!

Of course, this is not to discourage others, as many things can be compensated for later in life!

Lu Xiaobu still hadn’t intervened, calmly watching the teacher handle the situation.

After all, this is still a matter between kids; when adults step in, it tends to get distorted.

After the teacher finished handling it, Lu Xiaobu continued walking forward.

”Bro, wasn’t I awesome just now?!” the little girl coquettishly asked with a beaming smile.

”Awesome my foot!” Lu Xiaobu laughed.

”Well, I learned it from you, so awesome my foot it is,” the little girl giggled.

”Hahaha!” Lu Xiaobu burst into laughter.

Although it was said that it would be best for everyone to come together, many parents weren’t like Lu Xiaobu who accompanied the little girl all the way here, opting instead to wait until the final class meeting!

And those parents who did come along were required to attend class with the students, observing the students’ daily routines.

Well, within three minutes of class, Lu Xiaobu remembered he was a parent.

Three minutes later, the sound of snoring filled the classroom.

What could he do, he wasn’t some kind of academic genius, but a complete class dunce, dozing off as soon as class started, working better than hypnosis!

The teacher lecturing turned green in the face!

What kind of parent is this!

The students aren’t even asleep yet!

Is it really good for you, as a parent, to snooze away like that?!

Also, why are you even wearing sunglasses while sleeping?!

Oh, I get it, you were prepared in advance, using them as sleep masks, weren’t you?!

The teacher was so angry they snapped the chalk!

The little girl glanced at Lu Xiaobu, rolled her eyes, sighed, and muttered quietly, ”Did I call the wrong person?”

Nevertheless, she knew that for her brother, instances like this weren’t even a scene, feeling bored and taking a nap was perfectly routine!

Xiaomin’s father, seeing things not going well, could only smile wryly and nudge Lu Xiaobu, ”Little brother, little brother, wake up wake up!”

”This parent!”

The teacher, finally, exploded!
