Prodigal System in the Flourishing City

Chapter 698: Chapter 696 Quality [1st Update]

Lin Feng stayed in Taobao’s company and looked at the public opinions before setting them aside.

The first step had been taken, now onto the second.

What’s the difference between a supermarket and a vegetable market besides the price?

Quality!

One offers stable quality, while the other is inconsistent!

So.

”Housekeeper Jia, go inform all the major suppliers and tell them not to supply Lu Xiaobu!” Lin Feng instructed Housekeeper Jia.

”Yes, Young Master Lin!”

Housekeeper Jia quickly arranged it and then came back, asking in confusion, ”Young Master Lin, will this really be effective?”

Although the Lin Family is powerful, it hasn’t reached the extent to control all merchants in the world!

”Of course it’s useless.”

Lin Feng smiled and said, ”I’m just making a statement, letting them know that Lin Feng and Lu Xiaobu are at odds.”

”This way, even if they supply Lu Xiaobu, they will add many conditions to disentangle themselves, such as requiring cash payment, or offering no official certification!”

”Cash payment will rapidly deplete Lu Xiaobu’s working capital, and without official certification, it will greatly undermine the public recognition of the quality of Lu Xiaobu’s goods!”

Lin Feng said this and his eyes narrowed, flashing a sharp gleam.

Lu Xiaobu, I want to see how you handle this!

...

”Young Master, the suppliers have suddenly reneged, saying they won’t supply us anymore!”

Liang Lan said angrily, ”These bastards, always so fickle!”

”Normal, it must be that kid Lin Feng’s doing.” Lu Xiaobu motioned with his hand.

”Are they that afraid of Lin Feng? Even forsaking the money they could earn?”

Liang Lan was still somewhat angry.

”Sister Lan, give me the phone. I’ll talk to them.” Lu Xiaobu took the phone from Liang Lan.

The call connected.

”Hello, Ms. Liang! As I told you, the company isn’t just mine alone, many decisions aren’t just mine to make, please don’t make things difficult for me!” A man’s voice came over the phone.

Lu Xiaobu: ”I am Lu Xiaobu.”

The other party fell silent upon hearing this name.

Although Liang Lan can usually be seen as equivalent to Lu Xiaobu, it’s still different after all.

”Young Master Lu, I won’t beat around the bush, you must have guessed it, Young Master Lin has spoken, I am a small business, I can’t afford to offend Young Master Lin,” the man sighed and spoke the truth.

There’s no need to beat around the bush with Lu Xiaobu!

”Cash payment, no arrears on goods.” Lu Xiaobu offered directly.

The necessary deterrence had already been applied the moment he personally made the call!

”Young Master Lu, please don’t make it difficult for me.”

Lu Xiaobu: ”No penalty fee, reduce the order by seventy percent, only thirty percent required!”

”Young Master Lu, this!”

Lu Xiaobu’s eyes narrowed, a displeasure rising in his heart: ”I’m giving you a chance, make an offer!”

Hearing Lu Xiaobu’s words, the breathing of the man on the other end of the phone clearly became heavier.

He knew this was Lu Xiaobu’s ultimatum!

If he insists further, he might offend Lu Xiaobu!

If it were someone else opposing Lin Feng, they definitely wouldn’t bother targeting them, but Lu Xiaobu was different, no one could guarantee he wouldn’t storm into their company in the afternoon!

”Then, Young Master Lu, I’ll make an offer—if you agree, I can supply you—but that’s without providing any official certification, of course, if the goods reach the customers, the details can still be retrieved!” The man’s voice was tinged with nervousness.

This was the only condition they could accept, although harsh, they had no choice.

Hearing this condition, Liang Lan’s face instantly darkened: ”What do you mean? You know we prioritize quality and service, what do you mean by not providing any certifications?!”

What does it mean not providing certifications, that means during sales, they won’t authorize the official certifications on the website.

That means, on the website, customers won’t be able to verify if the product is counterfeit!

Think about it!

Their website’s main focus is quality and service, now without this kind of certification, what will the customers say?!

This condition cannot be accepted, absolutely not!

However.

Lu Xiaobu, after pondering for a moment, suddenly said: ”Okay, I agree, amend the contract and prepare to ship the goods!”

Hearing Lu Xiaobu’s words, Liang Lan was momentarily stunned: ”Young Master, this condition cannot be agreed to!”

Not only her, but even the man who made the offer was dumbfounded—what? Agreed?!

He actually agreed?!

Honestly, when he proposed this condition, he hadn’t expected Lu Xiaobu to agree, as it was indeed very harsh!

Putting himself in the other’s shoes, he wouldn’t have agreed!

”How so? Do you have more conditions?”

Lu Xiaobu’s voice raised by eight degrees, filled with displeasure.

”No no no, agreed! Agreed! I will ship immediately! A slight delay in the contract is okay!”

The man dare not chatter further, lest he really be doomed!

He hung up the phone.

”Young Master, this condition is preposterous! Why did you agree?!” Liang Lan was truly puzzled!

Even, she started to somewhat understand Fei Jian’s previous thoughts!

This condition felt a bit like cutting off one’s own retreat!

”Go! Carefully inspect all products without official certification, then have the IT department design a new badge—Lu Xiaobu Certification! And any product bearing my certification mark must allow a seven-day no-reason return policy!”

Lu Xiaobu narrowed his eyes as he spoke.

Official certification?!

I want to see if the three words ’Lu Xiaobu’ are more trustworthy than your official certification!

”Seven-day no-reason return policy?!”

Liang Lan was again puzzled.

In the current online shopping scope, this kind of precedent has never been set!

What does a seven-day no-reason return policy mean?

That means, if you don’t like what you bought, you can completely return or exchange it!

This is truly a losing proposition!

”Just do it!”

Lu Xiaobu gestured with his hand.

The seven-day no-reason return policy is already well established on Earth, there’s nothing to worry about.

”Alright, Young Master!” Liang Lan reluctantly agreed.

”The other suppliers, besides those idiots, should be able to be secured under the same conditions, go notify them,” Lu Xiaobu instructed Su Luoxue by his side.

”Yes, boss.”

Su Luoxue nodded her head.

”Also, secure all products related to esports.”

Lu Xiaobu spoke again.

”No problem, Young Master!”

Su Luoxue promised resolutely.

The other suppliers might hesitate, but when it comes to the esports equipment industry, definitely no one dares to challenge the Young Master!

They want to try challenging?

If they dare, the boss dares to completely cut off all their endorsements, all their advertisements, letting them lose everything!

Don’t forget, the boss is the foremost person in esports!

”Lin Feng, oh Lin Feng, you think you can deal with me like this?!”

Lu Xiaobu’s eyes narrowed.
