I Just Wanted to Be a Galactic Hunter—Why Am I on the Wanted List?

The starship ticket Loren bought was the most expensive tier, a super VIP-class ticket.

As for the recent situation of Ms. Thia and the not-so-honest Mr. Evan...

When Loren was leaving the Interstellar Hunter Association, he ”accidentally” overheard that the two had already successfully bought cheap starship tickets.

For the two who were constantly monitoring the news of the lockdown lifting, snagging two tickets wasn’t difficult.

After ”accidentally” hearing that they had gotten tickets, Loren left with peace of mind...

As for why Loren bought the most expensive tier of ticket.

That story begins with his tortuous experience of purchasing it.

When Loren received the news that the lockdown was lifted and wanted to leave the Interstellar Hunter branch.

The branch chief who had recommended Loren to join the Interstellar Hunter Association came to the door of Loren’s rest room.

He stopped Loren alone and bid him a proper farewell.”Be careful on your journey. The Energy Department is not as powerful as it used to be, their screening might let many people slip through.”

”Your existence is an extremely glaring thorn in the side for the mastermind behind all this.”

After coming to remind Loren of this, the branch chief waved at him, wishing him a smooth journey.

In response to the branch chief’s heartfelt farewell, which he had made a special trip for.

Loren simply took off his hat in a gesture of respect, gave a shallow bow, and without saying another word, left with an air of ease.

And when Loren walked out of the Interstellar Hunter branch’s main gate, heading for the interstellar starship terminal.

When he wanted to take out his portable computer to buy a ticket online.

He realized it was already somewhat too late.

The tickets online were already sold out.

In the short time the branch chief had specifically come to see him off.

The tickets for the Jadeite Star Domain sold online were completely gone, not a single one left.

After the Dusk Star Domain had been locked down for a full month, the sudden lifting of the lockdown caused a massive surge of passenger traffic, leading to interstellar starship tickets being mostly sold out.

Consequently, Loren was unable to buy a cheaper starship ticket.

With no other choice, Loren had to spend 600 Spirit Stones at the interstellar starship terminal to buy the most expensive ticket.

One must know that one Spirit Stone can be exchanged for one thousand Federation coins.

Thus, Loren spent a whopping 600,000 Federation coins to board that most advanced passenger starship of the Federation.

This caused Loren, who was feeling a bit of a sting at the time, to even wonder if the ”Fortune” bestowed upon him had failed...

Meanwhile, in the Main City of the distant Dusk Star Domain.

A man lurking in a dark room, upon seeing the message transmitted by the communicator in his hand, silently destroyed the device.

”Such good luck, little one. I’ll let you live a while longer.”

After learning that Loren had bought the most expensive tier of starship ticket, he silently adjusted his timeline for making a move against Loren.

The people aboard that passenger starship were all either wealthy or noble, involving too many connections. It would be inconvenient to move against Loren on that ship.

If other passengers were injured during a fight with Loren, it would cause some trouble.

The current situation of the Marquis’s family also didn’t allow him to bring more trouble upon the family.

Because the Marquis’s family had cleaned up their tracks thoroughly enough after those matters were exposed.

Even for a powerful department like the Energy Department, moving against a Your Lordship without evidence would still be somewhat difficult.

Although the Energy Department hadn’t openly done anything to that Your Lordship, most of that Your Lordship’s influence had quietly become targets of the Energy Department’s scrutiny.

The seed of suspicion had already been sown.

As the territorial Marquis, the Uncrowned King of the Dusk Star Domain, to know nothing about what happened in the Dusk Star Domain was somewhat hard to believe.

Therefore, as the one who secretly resolved troubles for the Marquis’s family, all he could do now.

Was to low-key complete the task given to him by Your Lordship.

Eliminate that meddlesome Interstellar Hunter—Las Loren.

After learning of Loren’s movements, he also bought a starship ticket to the Jadeite Star Domain.

However, this passenger starship was departing from the Main City of the Dusk Star Domain.

He planned to make his move against Loren in the Jadeite Star Domain.

”Perfect, acting in the Jadeite Star Domain won’t attract the Energy Department’s attention either. Little one, you’ve picked a nice burial ground for yourself.”

.......

Loren, boarding an interstellar starship for the first time, was surprised for a while by the luxurious facilities and interior decoration of the ship.

It must be said, these things prepared for the Federation’s wealthy, aside from the single drawback of being expensive, had no other shortcomings.

In today’s Federation, where the ”Prohibition Act” was in full force.

The moment Loren stepped onto the starship, the first thing he saw was a bar counter filled with all kinds of alcoholic beverages.

Quite brazen, treating the Federation’s laws as mere scraps of paper.

Behind the bar was an exquisitely decorated casino, with an old-era artistic style, elegant yet not heavy.

At the entrance of this casino stood two beautiful ladies, dressed in sexy red dresses, greeting all the passengers boarding this starship.

Of course, besides these, the starship interior had some other facilities.

But facilities like swimming pools, libraries, and cafes didn’t hold much appeal for Loren.

After taking a cocktail from the bar and elegantly tasting a sip of the cocktail in his hand.

Then, looking towards the casino entrance, a peculiar smile appeared at the corner of his mouth.

Holding his glass, he leisurely walked towards the casino entrance.

”Welcome, sir. We wish you a pleasant time inside.”

The two sexy ladies in red dresses at the casino entrance bowed to Loren, politely welcoming him.

To this, Loren responded lightly with a nod of his head.

..........

In less than half a day, Loren stepped onto the ground of the Jadeite Star Domain with a smile.

It must be said, as the most advanced passenger starship model in the Federation.

Its speed was not only almost catching up to that of military starships.

But its comfort level was also the top among all passenger starships, truly worthy of a luxury vacation.

But its comfort level was also the top among all passenger starships, worthy of a luxury vacation.

It might be that just as he was happily winning in the casino, the starship arrived at the destination of this journey.

This made Loren feel a bit regretful, after all, he only had time to win a little over two thousand Spirit Stones before it ended...

Everyone aboard this interstellar starship, besides Loren, was quite wealthy.

A single bet casually placed was hundreds of Spirit Stones.

And Loren, relying on his ”Fortune” in the casino, was winning some Spirit Stones in a rather ”modest” manner.

After Loren occasionally lost a few Spirit Stones, his behavior was quite normal.

Like an ordinary gambler with decent luck.

After all, Loren’s gambling skills weren’t refined; he was purely relying on his luck to gamble.

He couldn’t act too exaggeratedly, or being noticed wouldn’t be good.

Most importantly, he couldn’t let the casino on the starship spread word of Loren’s exaggerated wins.

Back on the resource planet, large casinos were almost non-existent, let alone casinos where one could gamble with Spirit Stones; that place was dominated by the sale of contraband.

Business in the Gray Zone was mainly focused on smuggling contraband.

This also meant Loren never had the opportunity to earn Spirit Stones through gambling.

But now, on his way to the Jadeite Star Domain, after discovering the great ”invention” that is the ”casino.”

A special plan, a successful path to earning Spirit Stones, was laid right before Loren’s eyes.

Loren walked down the starship steps with light footsteps, setting foot on the ground of the Jadeite Star Domain.

Gazing at the scenery outside the terminal, which looked quite captivating, Loren softly said:

”Jadeite Star Domain, your Gambling King has arrived.”
