Ms. Thia walked out of the weapons shop and reloaded the two original bullets she had previously removed back into the cylinder of her black-gold revolver.

The two bullets she had just fired were the ones sold to her by that unscrupulous middle-aged uncle.

She had just returned those two useless bullets to him in her own way.

It was just a pity that she hadn’t successfully gotten her revenge.

And now, she was back to how she started.

One revolver, six bullets.

Even the two combat knives she had found were gone.

”Ah,” Ms. Thia sighed.

”Better go home first.”

Ms. Thia lifted her feet and slowly left the street.Meanwhile, inside Raven Agency.

Through the black-gold revolver in Ms. Thia’s hand, Loren had witnessed everything that happened around her.

He opened his tightly closed eyes.

”How could you share my fun?” Loren murmured resentfully to himself.

Loren reached to the raven on his shoulder and plucked a black feather.

Then, the black feather in his hand began to glow and gathered into a cluster.

Subsequently, the black feather transformed into a black-gold revolver.

Unlike the revolver in Ms. Thia’s hand, this one had intricate golden patterns covering its barrel.

Overall, this revolver appeared more ornate, more slender, and with a more exaggerated design compared to the black-gold revolver Ms. Thia possessed.

Loren raised the ornate revolver in his hand and fired two shots consecutively at the sky outside the window.

”Bang!”

After the bullets shot out the window, they quickly disappeared from sight.

At the end of the street, inside the weapons shop.

The middle-aged uncle behind the counter seemed to sense something.

He lifted his head and looked toward the direction of Raven Agency.

”Since that’s the case, let me use this opportunity to measure your power, Mr. Loren.”

Facing the incoming bullets from Loren, the weapons shop owner’s response was simple and brutal.

He deployed his energy shield, planning to take the hits head-on.

Although everyone on this street knew that Loren’s bullets were quite peculiar, he remained confident in his defenses.

As someone who had operated in the gray zone for many years, if he didn’t have a few tricks up his sleeve, he would have long been completely obliterated on this ruthless planet.

The watery energy shield enveloped his entire body, giving him a unique sense of security that made him feel quite at ease.

He even felt somewhat excited, having long anticipated the chance to face off against the uncrowned king of this street.

”Come on, Loren!! Use your power to entertain me to your heart’s content!!”

The two bullets quickly arrived inside the weapons shop, once again shattering through the window.

But this time, the bullets that entered the building didn’t hover in the air; instead, they directly slammed into the watery energy shield.

Boom!

Two consecutive explosions reverberated throughout the entire street.

The weapons shop building collapsed completely under the massive explosions.

And that weapons shop owner who had been so confident in his defenses.

Now stood alone amidst the ruins, still upright.

Though his appearance was rather pitiful.

Several streams of blood flowed down his head, covering his face, making him look somewhat ferocious and unwilling.

Covered in wounds, trembling, he pulled out a small communicator from his chest and used his last bit of strength to send a message:

”This is Federation Agent 9806669. I am currently on Resource Planet 17 in the Dusk Star Domain.”

”After retirement, I encountered a dangerous individual. At this moment, my life has reached its end.”

”Be wary of an interstellar hunter named ’Las Loren’.”

”He is a mysterious psychic, hasn’t shown abilities from other systems yet. Estimated tier is second rank or above, suspected to be a third-rank psychic, or possibly higher.”

”But I could only probe this much.”

”I couldn’t even withstand two of his bullets. My apologies.”

”Federation agents who encounter him in the future, please remain vigilant.”

”For the immortal Federation!”

After speaking, the middle-aged uncle standing in the ruins collapsed backward, ending his life as a Federation agent who had navigated the gray zones.

Deep in the distant reaches of space.

On a massive planet, within a majestic floating city.

As the primary planet of the Dusk Star Domain, countless pieces of information arrived here daily, and countless orders were dispatched.

Amidst this endless exchange of information, one piece of intelligence about an interstellar hunter was simply overlooked.

Even though it was intelligence obtained by a retired Federation agent at the cost of his life.

But Resource Planet 17 was already a planet abandoned by the Federation. Any developments concerning this planet had been downgraded to the lowest priority level.

Moreover, it was just intelligence about a low-tier interstellar hunter?

This piece of information, like a speck of dust falling into the ocean, failed to create even a ripple, simply sinking into oblivion...

The fall of a life often fails to create even the slightest ripple, especially in this current era.

The Federation is vast, and also decaying.

In the Lower District of Clear Mine City, on the abandoned street.

Loren now stood by the window, admiring his artistic creation from a distance.

Shattered ruins often gave Loren a deep sense of satisfaction from the bottom of his heart.

”A retired Federation agent? Interesting.”

”Things seem to be getting more amusing.”

Loren murmured to himself, his tone full of anticipation.

Clearly, the long, monotonous life had already driven him mad.

Even when facing the Federation directly, he would only feel excitement and thrill, without a trace of fear.

”Life only blooms with dazzling sparks in fierce collisions.”

”Please let me feel the joy of life!!”

”How I look forward to it...”

After Loren’s poetical chant, it was followed by his low, mad laughter.

Loren’s eerie laughter once again spread throughout the abandoned street.

Frightening people near Raven Agency to silently distance themselves from the area, afraid that the owner of the laughter might treat them as toys.

Meanwhile, Ms. Thia had already returned to her home.

Ms. Thia’s home was also located in a slum.

The only difference compared to that abandoned street was that most residents here were ordinary people, lacking the danger and vitality of the gray zone.

At the same time, the place was filled with a lifeless atmosphere, with weariness and exhaustion evident on everyone’s faces.

Their eyes were unfocused, as if they had lost their light.

Having returned home, Ms. Thia also shed the composure she had displayed.

Her body heavily collapsed onto the large, worn-out double bed.

Returning to her true nature, she unconsciously let out a sigh.

Then, she reached for the photo frame on the bedside, her fingers gently stroking the man in the photograph.

Unconsciously, tears had already streamed down her cheeks.

”Evan, wait for me!”

”I will definitely rescue you!”
