Chapter 73: Chapter 39: Gu Changsheng, you dare to seek death!

At midnight, the moon was cool as water, and all was still and silent.

Gu Changsheng stretched his arms and rotated his stiff neck.

A “thump” neither too loud nor too soft, Gu Changsheng rubbed the top of his head and shook it, what a pain, his already blurry head felt even more dizzy from the bump.

He remembered he had been drinking and then he went back to rest, so why did his head hurt so much?

He looked blankly at the thing that had hit his head while he still hadn’t fully opened his eyes, his hand followed and reached out, hmm, it felt very… pointy, and warm to the touch…

This Soul-Dissolving sensation…tsk tsk…

...

Before he could finish tsking, Gu Changsheng suddenly froze as if struck by lightning. He seemed to have forgotten something?

He got drunk, went back to his room, and then encountered an assassin, and then… what then?

His eyes stiffly rotated, and Gu Changsheng abruptly stopped in his tracks, his disheveled hair trembling, the moonlight streaming through the window lattice and illuminating the man’s face, the normally cold and hard contours now relaxed, his bewitching lips curved in a beautiful arc, long lashes concealing those icy, sharp eyes…

He had thought, that on the rainy night when he first met him, the man, wounded and solitary, was already enchantingly captivating.

Turns out he was wrong…

The person before him was truly a Little Fairy that could ensnare any heart!

Gu Changsheng licked the corner of his mouth and inhaled sharply. He remembered, he remembered it all!

He had encountered an assassin, and this assassin was the evildoer! And then he had pounced on this evildoer!

And then he had actually slept with him!

The warm body heat from beneath him seeped into Gu Changsheng’s short-circuited brain, causing him to feel utterly baffled!

Heavenly Gods and Spirits, Jade Emperor, Sakyamuni, Guanyin Bodhisattva…

Someone please save him! He had succumbed to temptation, been audacious in his desires, led astray by beauty—he had slept with an ancient person!

Now the man was still beneath him, his own arms still wrapped around the man’s waist, and Gu Changsheng’s heartbeat thundered, as if a thousand horses were charging through his heart!

All of a sudden, he remembered the red underpants, adorned with a splendid chrysanthemum outlined in gold thread, and now, they were right beneath his sleeves!

He felt as if he had been set on fire, painfully aware of his own rapidly cooking embarrassment!

What to do, should he run, or run, or maybe run?

His legs moved away from the strong, slender waist they were entangled with, and he made up his mind! Run! Before he got caught red-handed in bed!

“What are you doing?”

A cold voice came through, tinged with a hint of the confusion of one who had just woken up.

Gu Changsheng, shocked, looked up only to meet a pair of eyes that were just waking up…

When their eyes met, silence fell.

Gu Changsheng shifted uneasily, and the person beneath him tensed.

Gu Changsheng was startled, suddenly too afraid to move, and the atmosphere turned eerie and tense.

Gu Changsheng racked his brain, what was he supposed to do if he was caught in adultery? Should he say, “I’m sorry,” or should he say, “No big deal?”

The current situation was obviously not in his favor, the handsome man was still beneath him, and it was clear to anyone, that it was he who had overpowered the man! He had slept with him!

“Um… it seems… seems like I’ve got the wrong bed…” Gu Changsheng managed to say the whole sentence and then wished he could bite off his own tongue for shaking so much! What was he scared for? Being so nervous as if he were a guilty thief! Stuttering for what? It was just sleeping with someone! Modern hotels are filled with such occurrences, contraceptive products are booming in sales! He was after all an educated young woman of the new era, if he hadn’t eaten pork, he’d at least seen pigs run, what was there to fear?

In this moment, he should simply sweep away without a cloud in the sky, and say goodbye forever. That would be the end of their paths crossing!

Furthermore, when you think about it, he was the one at the losing end of this deal, right?

“This is your bed.”

“Oh, right, this is my bed, what are you doing on my bed?” he blankly responded, and with a “thump,” Gu Changsheng’s head drooped down again, why bring up that troublesome topic, how did he end up on his own bed? The blurry memory seemed to hint that he was the one who pounced and pinned the person down!

Zhou Mu frowned as he looked at his chest, which had been bumped into. This woman!

“Gu Changsheng!” he called out in irritation.

“Yes!” Gu Changsheng rubbed his forehead as he looked up, damn it, did this guy have an iron plate in his chest? It hurt so much! Remembering where the bump had occurred, Gu Changsheng flipped over to one side with a fish-like wriggle!

Damn it! He was still lying on top of the man! He had even had the audacity to speak to him while lying on him!

As soon as the roll was over, Gu Changsheng felt inwardly hurt. Oh mother, he had forgotten to check the direction; he should have rolled off the bed, which would have been so much easier to escape! But things didn’t go as planned, and why did he roll towards the inside of the bed?
