Magus: Rise of the Darkness Empress

When though the weather of the Souran territory was quite cold, there were various tenacious flowers here which were quite beautiful. And several flowers of that kind had been planted in this garden.

And Weiss and Elise were walking between these beautiful flowers. Elise was curious about what Weiss needed to tell her and patiently waited for Weiss to start speaking.

After sorting out her thoughts, Weiss started speaking. She told Elise that she was again planning to leave the Souran territory and go to a different city.

The last three months had been very enjoyable for Elise because of Weiss’s presence. But she knew that Weiss again leaving the house was inevitable.

But just as Elise started to feel sad, Weiss said something that made her mood to immediately improve.

”Elise, this time, I will like to have you come with me.”

This was honey to her ears. Elise was actually very jealous for Karl as he had managed to go on several trips with Weiss. But now that she was also getting a chance to do the same, Elise was super happy.

So she immediately started to ask Weiss about when and where they were going. She needed to start preparing for the journey as soon as possible.

”We will be going to a city called Lemarta and there we need to go and explore a ruin. And as that city is well known for having a lot of good blacksmiths, from there, I really want to bring a blacksmith back to our territory.”

Elise was aware of this city. It was a well known place where a lot of knights went to make their weapons. For this reason, this city also had quite a few powerhouses staying in it.

The lord of this city was also one of the nobles who had participated in the attack of her Triston family. He was a count with the family name of Dorek and he was a follower of the second prince.

This was so something that Weiss aware of. And that was also the reason why she had chosen this city. If she wanted to steal from someone, it was always better to steal from an enemy.

Obviously, if she and Elise got the chance, they would not mind taking care of the lord of city as an act of vengeance. But that was not something for which Weiss was going to actively make a plan.

As for when they would be leaving, Weiss did not give an immediate answer. Instead she started to check Elise’s body by sending her life force in her.

After checking it thoroughly, Weiss nodded her head and spoke up again -

”From what I can see, it looks like Elise is very close to also becoming a high grade knight. I think a week or two will be enough for you to take that last step.

So let’s wait for that duration. After you have broken through and became a high level knight, then we can leave.”

Elise nodded her head confidently after hearing this. With her current rate of progress, she was very sure that she would definitely be able to reach the realm of a high level knight within two weeks. She really wanted to catch up to Weiss as soon as she could.

Within these two weeks, Weiss and Elise also needed to complete a lot of work. Currently in the Souran territory, both of them were the central pillars. So if they suddenly left without making any preparations, then that would create a little of trouble.

With this in mind, Weiss and Elise ended their meeting. Then Elise immediately went to her office in order to finish everything that she needed to do. She was really looking forward to this trip with Weiss.

...

After ending the conversation with Elise, Weiss went to check up on Peria and Eve. Under her guidance, both of them had managed to reach the realm of a peak apprentice knight and were only one step away from becoming an official knight.

Both of them had gotten a modified technique from Weiss and had improved their foundation greatly. So it was only a matter of time before they would be able to make a breakthrough.

As Weiss went to see them, she found both of the ladies practicing together. But there was also another person with them.

This person was not a human but a tiger. This beast was also just one step away from creating a monster stone and becoming a monster.

But this tiger was not very intelligent like the snake Apep. So he had not managed to learn the secret art that Weiss had created. But even without the help of the secret art, this tiger’s chance of becoming a monster was quite high.

After getting beaten up by Weiss, this tiger had became almost like a domesticated cat. And as Peria and Eve’s strength was very similar to its own, he had gotten closer to them. And nowadays, they all had became training buddies.

Seeing Weiss, the tiger cat quickly came to her and started to rub it’s large head on her body. This beast was by no means small but it was acting like a cute small animal. For that reason, it did look very bizzare.

Peria and Eve also slightly bowed their head and greeted their mistress. Weiss had accepted them as something like her friend. So there was no reason for them to be overly polite before her.

Weiss told them about her new plans too and asked one of them to come with her. There were a few thing that Weiss needed to do there for which a powerful helper was needed but that helper could not be overly strong like a knight. So these two ladies were perfect for that role.

As for which one of the two would go with her, after discussing it among themselves, Peria decided to join Weiss and Elise. Peria had even stayed in the city of Lemarta for some time, so her going would be more beneficial.

Eve was going to continue training here in the castle in order break through to the official knight realm as soon as possible.

Other than Elise and Peria, Weiss was not planning to bring anyone else with her. And as the city of Lemarta was located quite bit away from the Souran territory, she had no intention of selling anything from the territory there.

For that reason, Weiss would also not bring any carriages with her for this journey. The path that Weiss had in her mind was very troublesome to traverse and a carriage would have a very hard time there. So the ladies were going to travel on the back of the horses for this journey.

So now that plan for the journey was made, everyone was just waiting for Elise to make a breakthrough.
