Bizarre Voyage: Summoning The Fourth Crisis

The Mage players were hard at work accumulating Wax Oil to learn Magic from Burton, and the Prison Players were certainly not idle either.

After a day or two of clearing the area, they had explored most of the peninsula map.

However, the terrain inside the peninsula’s high walls was extremely complex. It was filled with numerous Living Corpse monsters, as well as mummy-like creatures that squirmed like worms, completely wrapped in bandages.

Of course, that wasn’t the main obstacle.

The intricate terrain within the city-state was the greatest barrier hindering the Prison Players’ advance.

DING!

The crisp clang of metal echoed through the city-state’s streets as Faraway’s Executioner’s Hand Blade met a Greatsword’s edge.

As if anticipating this, Faraway quickly pulled back, gliding with an Execution Step. He phantom-like dodged the follow-up attack and precisely chopped at his opponent’s neck.

SHINK!

The next moment, the head of the Knight in Heavy Armor fell to the ground. Its helmet rolled away, revealing the shriveled face of a Living Corpse.

Besides the Wax Oil, a Weapon and a piece of equipment dropped.

But aside from those two, something... rather odd appeared as well.

Faraway, however, was already used to it.

This Witch Knight Commander had many Witch Knights under his command. He had killed many on his way here, and those Knights more or less all dropped some of the Witch’s personal clothing, like shoes and whatnot...

Of course, the item this Knight Commander dropped was the most... indecent of them all.

After killing the Witch Knight Commander blocking his path, the way to the largest building in the center of the city-state was clear, and the guidance of the Spirit Candle appeared once more.

After reaching the Milestone Spirit Candle and touching the flame, Faraway sat down cross-legged, recovering his Physical Strength while replenishing his supply of Wax Blocks.

Then, he saw a faintly glowing wax mark on the ground in front of the Milestone Spirit Candleholder.

It was the newly implemented ”message” function...

It looked like someone had arrived here before him.

Faraway smiled faintly and reached out to touch the wax mark.

[Wet Underpants]

[Charge, warrior!]

”...” Faraway figured these two messages were most likely left by Li Miao.

The Spirit Candle’s new message function didn’t restrict the specific text or content of the messages.

But it did have character and usage limits, and of course, a sensitive word filter.

It seemed that guy Li Miao was in a very good mood...

Faraway continued forward and soon entered the largest building, which looked like a mansion.

Inside were several more Knights and some Living Corpses in servant attire, but Faraway dispatched them all with ease.

Soon, by following the distribution of the monsters, Faraway traced his way to the largest room. At the Milestone Spirit Candle before the door, more wax message marks had appeared.

[Shriveled one ahead]

[Getting wild]

Faraway stood up and pushed the door open.

What greeted his eyes was a sea of lewd pink...

Floating within the spacious room were numerous long strips of cloth, inscribed with many Spells and radiating a faint, mysterious Power.

”Mmm... whose turn is it next?”

As the cloth strips swayed, a human figure on the large bed was vaguely revealed.

The voice was hoarse yet filled with allure. Even from the shriveled body on the bed, one could sense its original, extreme coquettishness.

”Oh? So it’s a... little mouse~”

She slowly rose, and the surrounding strips of cloth flew up eerily to cover her body, while a Banner automatically wrapped around her hand.

Once the strips of cloth had flown onto her, the scene beside the bed was revealed.

Several naked male corpses were propped against the wall, spread-eagled. Their expressions were ecstatic, as if they had ascended to heaven in bliss.

WHOOSH!

Her shriveled yet vividly red lips twitched, and the Power of a Prayer shot forth.

An oncoming Blood Stone Burst collided with it, shattering with a boom. The hanging strips of cloth flew about, revealing the Witch’s true face.

[Warfire: Soul Oath]

[Talent: Soul Oath]

[Explanation: Faith, pleasure, Power... Faith is but a source of Power, and Power ultimately serves one’s pleasures... The Dark Soul Witch firmly believes this.]

”Listen... to the Soul’s oath...”

As the Dark Soul Witch’s whisper echoed, the surrounding room began to darken. The soul of an exquisitely beautiful, blonde woman slowly rose from the shriveled body.

At the same time, Faraway’s soul was also forced to rise, separating from his body in the darkness.

A game prompt similar to the one from the Soul Giant Soldier fight appeared again.

Under the effect of the Dark Soul Witch’s Talent, soul and body were once again forced apart.

Seeing this, Faraway’s brow furrowed.

’To be honest, this kind of battle is a huge nerf for me.’

’The body’s reactions are just too clumsy.’

’Mistakes that shouldn’t happen will feed back to the soul, severely restricting me.’

’Of course, you can’t lump all players together.’

’For example, some players might not even be as good as their own body’s instincts...’

SWISH SWISH SWISH...

”My champions, come to me...”

Faraway and the Dark Soul Witch had already clashed several times, and she had found an opportunity to directly summon several Witch Knights in this dark space—attacking with both body and soul.
