I just wanted you to make a movie: You made a Honkai Star Rail movie

: In a way, this is truly exploratory. As expected of the inheritance left by the Nameless predecessors, even ran out on its own to explore...

: Amazing, all the previous foreshadowing and Misha’s strange behavior have been fully recovered, bravo!

: Damn it, if Misha is the inheritance, then I have to change my thinking. Will the express crew take Misha away later? Sunday bye-bye?

——

The twist of collecting all the foreshadowing made the viewers feel as refreshed as drinking a cold beer in midsummer.

---------------------------

Who would have thought that the inheritance would grow legs and run away on its own, and that it had already appeared in front of the audience from the very beginning of the first episode.

This kind of viewing experience made the audience break out in goosebumps.

So amazing!

In the scene.

After listening to March 7th, Misha nodded and smiled: ”Now, allow me to reintroduce myself.”

”I was born on on the oceanic world of Lushaka, adopted by two legendary seafarers named Mikhail and Char. The two elders gave me a treasure and a name.”

”Mikhail Char Legwork, an even simpler name.”

Misha’s tone was calm and orderly, completely different now.

”So, you’re The Watchmaker?!”

March 7th and Stelle widened their eyes.

”No, I am just a fragment of his childhood dream, just like what you see here.”

”A fantasy about sailing, Clockie, and Miss Mirror. Of course, the official name here is Child’s Dream.”

”At the same time, it is also the starting point of his journey through life, the beginning of his Trailblazing.”

Misha is Mikhail, yet not Mikhail.

Their relationship is quite unique.

But the audience could understand such a connection.

And those previously riddled stories and life experiences became much clearer after Misha said this.

The stories about sailing refer to Mikhail’s solitary endurance in the Memory Domain.

It also refers to Mikhail’s childhood, gazing at the sea, fantasizing about venturing into the unknown.

That’s his nature, coinciding perfectly with Trailblazing.

After saying this, Misha stepped forward two steps toward the Nameless Guests, looking at them gently.

As he spoke, Misha’s tender childish voice and an old voice sounded simultaneously.

”At the end of my life’s journey, I left this tiny precious flame in the deepest dream, hoping to entrust it to the Nameless Guests of the future.”

”But somehow, it ran out of the dream bubble on its own and even forgot its mission. Sorry, truly made a joke of myself.”

As they spoke, Misha’s lively tone and The Watchmaker’s mature and steady voice intertwined.

For example, when mentioning forgetting the mission, Misha exclaimed ”completely forgot!” while The Watchmaker spoke it in a heavy, restrained manner.

Misha and Mikhail’s voices overlapped.

For a moment, an indescribable emotion slowly spread in the audience’s hearts.

This emotion wasn’t intense, more like a long-dry spring gently bubbling up again.

”Perhaps this is Trailblazing, even he hasn’t forgotten this will.” Himeko smiled to comfort.

”Heh.”

Misha shook his head, self-deprecatingly: ”I have a friend who always says my life went round and round, only to return to the starting point. Maybe this is a phase every Nameless Guest must experience.”

But after speaking, he spread his hands and smiled:

”But in the end, you still found me. Back to the point, since you’ve come all this way, you must be very interested in The Watchmaker’s inheritance. My friend must have mentioned the Stellaron, and the so-called wealth.”

”But I must apologize, while the Stellaron does exist, the wealth is just a rumor.”

”I left my hometown in childhood, embarking on the Trailblazing journey, passing one station after another, and finally stopping at Asdana. My friends and I built the early Penacony, and struggled for its future until today.”

”My whole life was about moving forward, doing my utmost to break through obstacles, but eventually, my journey came to its end. My body is like a broken locomotive, with nothing worthy of being called wealth left behind.”

”So, if you ask what inheritance remains in this train head, I think it’s only those things still burning in the engine furnace.”

The elderly voice had already overtaken Misha’s.

Especially after hearing Mikhail’s self-description.

In the audience’s minds, they couldn’t help but recall that young, vibrant, and idealistic man from the beautiful memories.

...

: He devoted his entire life to Penacony, to Trailblazing, yet left no tangible possessions behind.

: I don’t know how to describe this feeling. Listening to Mikhail’s voice, my heart just feels so heavy, and I can’t even explain why.

: Mikhail is not some broken locomotive! Sob sob sob, I really can’t handle these words!

: What he wants to leave behind for future generations is his spirit, his Trailblazing spirit!

: I feel both sad and lost. Mikhail is someone we’re familiar with, but for what reason did he go to such lengths? Trailblazing? But what exactly is Trailblazing?

...

More painful than witnessing a hero’s death, is seeing a hero grow old with your own eyes, and hearing him admit that he is no longer that hero.

All the audience members felt an overwhelming sorrow in their hearts after hearing Mikhail’s words.

But...

Even at this point, the flame of Trailblazing in this man’s heart never extinguished.

An urge ignited in the hearts of the audience.

They wanted to hear Mikhail personally explain everything.

At this moment, Misha had already taken out a pocket watch.

”I want to give it to you: my pocket watch. It accompanied me on my long journey, guiding that child who once had nothing, step by step, to where I stand today.”

”And my hat, placed on my head by the one who guided me, so that Trailblazing would never cease in my heart.”

Holding the pocket watch, Misha glanced at the three of them, then handed it to Stelle.

”Next, it’s your turn.”

”If you decide to save Penacony, then please open the door and come with me...”

Misha turned and walked toward the door of the room, followed closely by Clockie.

When they opened the door, what appeared wasn’t the corridor they came from, but a vast sea of memories.

”Is there even a question? I am a Nameless!”

Gripping the pocket watch, Stelle said firmly.

”Me too!”

March 7th said energetically beside him.

Seeing their response, Himeko smiled with relief. She said no more, and instead followed them into that sea of memories.

The moment the three of them stepped into the memories, those colorful fragments instantly began to reconstruct, like colors on an oil painting, forming a simple two-dimensional image.

In the center of the image was a clock, but its hands were the silhouette of a person running forward.

”Mikhail! Where are you going?” The child version of Mikhail Char Legwork — The Watchmaker — exclaimed in panic.

”Someone has to step up to save Lusaka, Little Misha, why can’t it be me?”

The navigator Mikhail responded.

”Don’t go, please, or take me with you, I beg you!”

Mikhail Char Legwork pleaded.

”Hahaha, even without me, you should know how to move forward.”

The navigator Mikhail laughed, then imitated a serious yet playful tone: ”Ahem, brave Captain Mikhail Char Legwork, the Compass is waiting for you, haven’t you always wanted to become a better adventurer than me? Go on, board that train and start your journey!”

In the two-dimensional scene composed of memories, there was only a white-haired boy with a wrench and a hat, bidding farewell to an old father.

At this moment, some heavy narration followed.

”People living on the ocean planet Lusaka must rely on ’navigators’ constantly ’Trailblazing’ new lands in order to survive.”

March 7th and Stelle’s hearts were deeply struck.

It seemed they already saw the crisis Mikhail’s father was facing at that time, while still working hard to support life.

...

At this moment.

The scene changed.

A man with a delicate hat and beard appeared on the left side of the screen, talking to Mikhail in the background.

On the clock below, the running person had turned into walking.

”Mikhail, where are you going?”

The navigator Falcon Amundsen asked.

”I-I’m going to the observation carriage to mop the floor, I promised the conductor.”Mikhail said softly.

”Wait, tell me first, did you fix the mechanism?”

Falcon Amundsen asked.

”Uh, y-yes.”

Mikhail stammered, thinking he had done something wrong.

”Wow.”

To his surprise, Amundsen exclaimed: ”The chain was broken, the casing was worn, how did you manage that?”

”It was the pointer, Mr. Amundsen, the pointer was still intact, so I was able to realign it.”

Mikhail gave his answer.

”...”

After a brief silence, Amundsen said directly: ”From now on, you’ll work with me. I’ll talk to the conductor. Haven’t you always wanted to tinker with the train? Starting today, you’re officially my apprentice!”

The Watchmaker’s story.

Because of the previous Myriad Celestia Trailer, the audience already knew.

Seeing the dialogue between Mikhail and the previous express navigator Falcon Amundsen at this moment, they felt both relieved and melancholic.

A heavier emotion was spreading.

...

”Mikhail Char Legwork, where are you going? We should be leaving for the next stop.”

But at this moment, the scene shifted again. The navigator Amundsen was gone, replaced by the new navigator, Granholm.

The audience all knew the life of this navigator: he sacrificed himself on the road of Trailblazing.

A sour feeling surged up in the viewers’ noses.

...

: I don’t know what to say, endless farewells, yet always moving forward, never stopping.

: So it turns out, Mikhail actually went through two generations of navigators.

: My eyes are burning, damn it, why is this so touching, I want to cry.

: Clearly it’s just ordinary memories, simple 2D images, no music, only the ticking of a clock, but I just can’t help my emotions.

...

The comments became sparse.

Many people were so immersed in this part of the story that they didn’t even want to comment anymore.

”I-I’m not planning to leave.”

”I plan to stay in Asdana with Razalina and Tiernan.”

Mikhail’s voice sounded more mature.

The walking posture of the shadow on the clock also became more composed.

”Oh?”

”Does this place remind you of home?”

The ”Youngster” Granholm asked with a smile.

Mikhail did not answer directly but replied: ”Asdana only achieved a small victory, still far from true peace. It still needs us.”

”Pfft.”

Hearing Mikhail’s somewhat heavy words, Granholm smiled: ”Don’t worry, not every journey must lead to the sea of stars. Even after leaving the express, our Trailblazing won’t stop.”

”Go ahead, my friend, and take this with you.”

After Granholm spoke, Mikhail was surprised: ”Is... Mr. Amundsen’s hat? Why...?”

”He said he wanted to leave it to his best student. I think now is the time.”

Granholm said softly: ”Farewell, Mikhail Char Legwork, take good care of Tiernan and Razalina. Remember to write to us.”

...

: Ahhh, mom! I can’t take it anymore!

: Mikhail, in the end, still failed to take care of Tiernan and Razalina; they both died eventually.

: I can’t even imagine what Mikhail feels every time he remembers Granholm’s instructions; he was the last one to die.

: And Amundsen’s hat, it’s like a form of inheritance.

: For those great people, compared to death, their hope is that their will and spirit can be passed on.

: Granholm saw this clearly, so he gave the hat to Mikhail according to the instructions.

...

It wasn’t even at the most tear-jerking moment yet.

Through simple lines and scenes, the conveyed information had already made many viewers’ eyes tear up.

And in the next scene came a sudden emotional explosion.

”Mikhail, where are you going?”

This was Misha’s voice.

The sturdy old man from Dreamflux Reef was now anxiously facing Misha.

”Don’t worry, Misha, I’m just going on a long journey.”

Mikhail said calmly: ”Someone has to go to the front line of interstellar Trailblazing. Now Penacony only has one ’former Nameless Guest’ left, why can’t it be me?”

This scene.

Instantly reminded the audience of the very first scene of the flashback.

Time had passed, and Mikhail had changed from the one asking to the one being asked.

At this moment, could he feel how the others felt when they said these words to him?

The comments surged again.

...

: MiHoYo, damn you! Such fine details and emotions, I really can’t handle it anymore!

: I held out for one second in the ”try not to cry” challenge, you guys try it too, sob.

: My heart is as solid as a rock (puts on sunglasses).

: ”Why can’t it be me” — seriously, this line hits way too hard.

: I feel like I finally understand a bit of the meaning of Trailblazing! But why does it have to hurt while telling me, sob sob sob, old Mikhail, can’t you just tell me directly?
