I just wanted you to make a movie: You made a Honkai Star Rail movie

Welt and March 7th also remembered, and were a bit curious. The person suddenly urged them.

”There is a graveyard—uh, strictly speaking, a cenotaph. Mr. Gallagher believes it might be of help to you and hopes you’ll come take a look.”

The Express crew didn’t think much of it and agreed under Welt’s lead.

But on the screen, the bullet comments had completely exploded.

...

: MiHoYo lied to me again! Gonna hurt me again, huh?!

: Comment’s section, fight against MiHoYo...

----------------------------------------

: Whose cenotaph is this, damn it, Mihoyo, tell me—whose cenotaph is it! I advise you to behave yourself!

: Don’t talk nonsense, everyone. I think Mihoyo definitely doesn’t have the guts to mess with us again!

: Episode three was already under a lot of pressure, so many people and malicious forces are watching. If they really upset everyone, it’ll be hard to wrap things up. I don’t think MiHoYo would do that!

: Probably just trying to scare us!

...

The bullet comments flooded the screen.

Many people thought Mihoyo was unlikely to kill off anyone—just playing mind games.

After all, they couldn’t see any benefit to the plot in killing off the previously unnamed character.

However, just as everyone’s hearts were in their throats—

The screen went black.

A bold line of text appeared:

”11 system hours before the opening of the Charmony Festival, on the other side of Dream Reef.”

Damn!

At that moment, who knows how many people cursed in unison.

The screen flickered.

A cute little white-and-blue bird was resting in a pair of fair, tender hands.

”Brother! Look, there’s a little bird!”

A young girl’s voice sounded off-screen.

”Looks like a little Harmony Dove, but there aren’t any of their habitats nearby. It must have gotten lost,” a young boy’s voice replied.

”It looks so weak. Let’s go find cushions and make it a nest.”

”No, it’s too dangerous here. Let’s take it back first and keep it safe by the window.”

”Okay! Its singing must be beautiful. But... where will it live?”

”I’ll ask the family head to make it a birdcage.”

”A birdcage? But... but if we do that, will it ever be able to fly again?”

As the two children discussed this, a voice familiar to the audience also appeared off-screen.

”Ah, let me see what kind of creature has caught the attention of our most brilliant interpreters.”

It was the voice of the Dream Master. After speaking, he clearly noticed the Harmony Dove in little Robin’s hands and smiled:

”Poor little thing, it’s in rough shape. What do you two think?”

”Rescue it!”

The girl answered first.

At this moment, the audience realized that the two children in the scene were young Robin and Sunday.

Now, little Robin said seriously:

”But I don’t think we should lock it up. Even though it’s still small, hasn’t grown all its feathers, and can’t sing, it wasn’t born just to live in a cage.”

”Birds are meant for the skies.”

The Dream Master’s tone was gentle, praising:

”What a romantic thought.”

Then he asked Sunday:

”Little scholar, do you agree with your sister’s view?”

”I think she’s right.”

Sunday first praised Robin’s words without hesitation, but then hesitated:

”But if we leave it out in the wild, it’ll die in a few days.”

”Hahaha.”

The Dream Master’s voice became even kinder.

In this scene, although the Dream Master, Robin, and Sunday never appeared on screen, the camera focused on Robin’s hands holding the little bird.

But just by hearing the voices, the audience could picture what the three of them looked like and their personalities.

Many people once again marveled at the superb production quality of Honkai: Star Rail.

Especially the Dream Master—he was no longer cold and arrogant like when facing Acheron, but gentle, like a kind father.

”Let me tell you a story,” the Dream Master said softly:

”You probably know that Harmony Doves are birds capable of flying through the atmosphere. When they fly, their feathers create friction with the air, turning into beautiful, breathtaking meteors.”

”But what you may not know is that this isn’t an ability Harmony Doves were born with. Their ancestors were weak creatures unable to survive on the ground. To survive, their ancestors turned their gaze to the skies.”

”After thousands, tens of thousands of generations of effort, one bird finally learned how to fly properly. From then on, they soared into the skies, leaving the ground behind.”

It was a simple story.

A story about the ancestors of the Harmonic Dove.

But after hearing it, the robin immediately asked, ”So, birds are actually not born to fly, but they achieved it through their own will, right?”

”Hehe, that’s indeed an idealistic interpretation. So, Sunday, what do you think?”

The Dream Master didn’t answer directly but instead asked Sunday.

”I think the reason people believe birds can fly is because of the... uh... something they see as matching a certain idea.”

Sunday pondered as he spoke.

”Then you know what to do now, right?”

The Dream Master continued, his tone gentle but filled with quiet expectation.

This time, Sunday didn’t hesitate and quickly responded: ”I... I’ll first make a birdcage and put it inside, at least until it can survive on its own, because...”

”No matter what, I want it to live!”

The conversation ended.

The little robin and little Sunday each gave their own answer.

And at that moment.

A kind of indescribable feeling stirred within the viewers.

Most of the audience didn’t realize the meaning hidden in the dialogue, because it was buried too deep, but that didn’t stop them from feeling that this segment told a profound story.

Then.

As the screen gradually faded to black.

Sunday suddenly raised another question.

”I mean, if there are chicks in this world that can never learn to fly their entire lives...”

”Should we still try to return them to the sky, to the perch where they can sleep peacefully?”

This time, the Dream Master didn’t answer.

The screen faded from black to white and returned to Dreamflux Reef.

In the dim blue background, two figures appeared.

Gallagher, with his back to the camera, and Sunday, facing the camera.

The two stared at each other in silence.

”What, going to test fate again?”

Gallagher said.

Sunday neither agreed nor disagreed.

But their conversation failed to capture the audience’s attention.

Most people were still thinking about what Sunday had just said at the end.

What do birds represent?

What does the cage represent?

What do the two different answers reveal about the Robin and Sunday?

They couldn’t figure it out.

But the more unknown it was, the more they looked forward to it.

There were fewer comments on screen now, but occasionally a few posts from insightful viewers flashed by, bringing a thunderous epiphany.

One of them stood out the most:

”Robin and Sunday.”

”A real idealist and an ideal realist.”

That moment.

Was arguably the most profound and philosophical scene in the entire Penacony series.

The kind that the audience couldn’t really understand at that moment, yet still felt deeply meaningful.

It wasn’t like the usual thrill of special effects, battles, and spectacle, but rather a peculiar pleasure—one that comes from having your brain overwhelmed by high-level knowledge.

They couldn’t wait to see more interpretations in the comments...
