Abandoned Woman Busy Farming

Chapter 462: Chapter 464: She is too confused

Jiang Yichun just watched Bai Ruozhu in a daze, wanting so many times to rush over and fiercely bite her red lips, but in the end, he was afraid of waking her up and so he restrained himself.

Just then, Little Dengdeng stiffened his arms and legs and began to cry unhappily. The little guy was hungry.

Jiang Yichun planned to say a few words to Bai Ruozhu and then avoid her, but Bai Ruozhu didn’t even open her eyes and slowly and leisurely began to crawl up, humming all the while to show how tired she was.

Then she leaned against the headboard, drowsily holding Little Dengdeng in her arms, opening her shirt for him to nurse, and continued sleeping with her eyes closed.

Jiang Yichun was completely stunned. She, she knows how to get up to breastfeed even when she’s sleeping?

Just then, Bai Ruozhu’s hand holding the child slowly slid down a bit, and the drowsy Little Dengdeng, also with his eyes closed, couldn’t hold on and was about to fall.

Jiang Yichun was startled. He dashed over without considering the appropriateness of his actions, ready to catch Dengdeng who was about to fall. But at that moment, Dengdeng cried out in dissatisfaction, and the sleeping Bai Ruozhu lifted her arm again, pulling him back to an appropriate position.

Moreover, she also stretched out both of her legs on the bed, just below her arm, so it would be less likely to fall.

Jiang Yichun was dumbstruck again. His current position was too close to the mother and son. The elder one was completely asleep, even snoring, and the younger one was also sound asleep with eyes shut, but he could still nurse one mouthful at a time.

Um, nursing...

With a bang, the flames in Jiang Yichun’s heart surged high. From his angle, he could just see a large expanse of snowy white skin, and half of her bewitchingly enticing white rabbit.

He felt his whole body heating up. Damn, why did he have to run over? It was clear that the mother and son liked this method of sleeping and nursing, so why was he bothered about it anyway?

Thinking this, he didn’t dare to stay for a moment longer, or else he really would turn into a wolf.

Swiftly, he put a wooden box on the table in the room and jumped out of the room, carefully closing the window. Just as he was closing the window, he saw Bai Ruozhu, still asleep, move around, changing her position to nurse Dengdeng, and then continued sleeping again.

Jiang Yichun almost laughed out loud. How did she train to be able to change directions even in sleep? This was really impressive! Of course, he knew she must be sound asleep. Otherwise, how could she so naturally expose herself in front of him?

He left helplessly after closing the window. She was so astute normally, how could she be so careless when sleeping? Luckily, he was the only one around. If there had been someone else...

Jiang Yichun’s eyes darkened a bit. Whoever dares to sneak into her room, they will be killed without pardon!

The next day, as soon as the sky brightened, Bai Ruozhu got up refreshed. She was really tired last night. Not only did she nurse with her eyes closed, but at one point, she was a little conscious and picked up the baby and lay back in bed to continue sleeping.

She got up from the bed, yawned heartily, and stretched lazily, feeling very comfortable. From now on, she and her family would start their life in Beiyu City, the thought of which made her uncontrollably excited!

Just as she was feeling thrilled, she spotted a small wooden box on the table and immediately remembered that Jiang Yichun had come last night.

He needed to go back to Anyuan Town to suppress bandits and might not be able to visit her for some time. He had come last night but didn’t have the heart to wake her up. In the end, he was just worried about her, afraid she was too tired and couldn’t rest well.

Thinking about this, she felt sweet inside, feeling that the man she had chosen was really good who genuinely cared for her.

She rolled out of bed and walked over to the table to pick up the wooden box. Opening it, she found a folded piece of paper inside.

Bai Ruozhu thought to herself, it wasn’t a love letter, was it? This level of romantic gesture was quite bewildering to someone like her, who wasn’t much into romance.

Her face beamed with laughter as she unfolded the paper, only to realize that it wasn’t a love letter at all, but a land deed! The deep red Government Office seal at the bottom of the paper stung her eyes. He had given her a manor!

Wait a second, why did the address of this manor sound so familiar? Still somewhat groggy from sleep, her eyes suddenly lit up with joy.

This land deed wasn’t for just any place, but for that hot spring villa that he had once taken her to! No wonder he had specially added a bathhouse, it was entirely for her benefit. He must’ve planned to give her this hot spring villa from the very beginning!

He didn’t even wake her up for such a big event, and simply left the deed on the table. Could he be any more generous?

Bai Ruozhu complained to herself, but her lips were curled up into a smile. He really spoiled her. Knowing she liked hot springs, he gave her the manor so she could take a dip whenever she wanted.

But here was the problem: how should she go? It wouldn’t feel right to slip away on her own, but if she brought her family along, how would she explain the manor? Could she say she bought it herself? Her parents would criticize her to death. And besides, it would be too unbelievable. The total amount of silver she had couldn’t possibly afford to buy that hot spring mansion.

She carefully put the land deed back into the wooden box and then put it in her space. She would remember his intentions very well.

Soon, the crying sound of Little Dengdeng drew her back to reality. Seeing that the little rascal had soiled himself, she changed his diaper reluctantly, and went out to fetch water to clean his bottom. Her mother saw her and came over to help, playfully slapping Little Dengdeng’s bare bum, and said cheerfully: ”Look how well our Little Dengdeng is growing, he’s got cute folds of fat all over his body.”

Bai Ruozhu instantly thought of buns. Thankfully, the folds were horizontal, making his legs, which resembled segments of a lotus root, extra adorable.

”We can’t let him get too chubby though, we need to let him roll over more often, and let him move around more after a while,” Bai Ruozhu said.

Both of them quickly dressed Little Dengdeng. Lin Ping’er grabbed Little Dengdeng and took him outside. Bai Ruozhu took the opportunity to freshen up and saw that everyone in the yard had woken up. They were either tidying up or helping Fang Guizhi and Wan Caiyue with breakfast.

Fusa’s family felt a bit uncomfortable since they were new to the yard while everyone else had been living there for a while. They weren’t sure what they should be doing, for fear of upsetting others with any potential missteps.

Bai Ruozhu walked over and said, ”Sister Fusa, we were too tired to tidy up the room yesterday, so once you have a moment today, please clean up the small room next door for my Aunt Lin to live in.”

It mustn’t have been comfortable for Fusa, her husband and child, and the mother-in-law to share one room.

Fusa blushed immediately. They didn’t have many skills and were already occupying two rooms. How could she be so bold?

”No need, no need. This room is much bigger than the one we used to live in. We’re not feeling cramped at all,” she waved her hand and said.

Bai Ruozhu knew what she was thinking and immediately chided, ”Why are you being so polite with me? It’s not like there aren’t enough rooms-- what are you so embarrassed about? And don’t you want to speed up giving Niuniu a little brother?”

Everyone, don’t accuse Mouka of being dramatic. Back in the day, during Mouka’s breastfeeding period, she was so exhausted she would feed while dozing off. My son would also eat while sleeping. But sometimes she fell asleep sitting up, and would wake up to find that it was already daylight...
