Chapter 1672: Causing Havoc In The Snow Leopard Tribe

Boom!

The body of the Snow Leopard that came to challenge Grey slammed into the ground as he stood in the sky looking down at them. He had a blank expression on as he defeated the Snow Leopard. This was a Snow Leopard that was a couple of hundred years old, but compared to Grey, the difference in strength is shocking. All it took was a single attack from Grey and it was defeated.

”Iʼm afraid youʼre going to have to be a little serious. If this is all the mighty Snow Leopards have to offer, then it seems like Iʼve wasted my time. Iʼll let my little sister come take you guys on then.” Greyʼs words infuriated the Snow Leopards. Magical Beasts are prideful, hearing Grey speak about their clan like this made every single one of these Snow Leopards angered.

Another Snow Leopard appeared, this one was in the Mid stages of the Eighth Rank, from Greyʼs deduction, this Leopard is at least a thousand years old. Grey couldnʼt help but feel amazed at its age. Being this old yet looking so far from dying of old age is amazing.

His view of age is greatly affected due to growing in the Azure Empire, so even after coming to the Aurora Continent, heʼs still amazed by the fact that there are multiple people over the age of a thousand years.

”Kid, this isnʼt the place for you to be cocky. For the sake of your Family, weʼll let you leave alive. Donʼt tempt us further, get away.” The Snow Leopard that appeared didnʼt rush to attack Grey, rather, it tried to convince him to leave.

Magical Beasts are known for their aggressive nature, but it doesnʼt mean they didnʼt know how the world works. The fact that Grey was still this young and could show such strength means that his background is frightening. As much as they didnʼt accept intruders, there were a few exceptions, Grey being one of those exceptions.

Grey tilted his head to the side and asked, ”Why would I do that? I came to test my strength, and Iʼm not leaving without testing it.”

The Leopard was a bit irritated with Greyʼs words, itʼs clear that he didnʼt take them seriously. It let out a soft growl of discontent and turned to look towards the eastern part of the tribe, seemingly searching for a response from there on how to deal with this problem.

Grey is powerful, they could tell from the fact that he managed to defeat the previous Leopard with a single attack, however, it didnʼt mean this Leopard is afraid of him, it just didnʼt want to hurt the heir to some powerful force and put their tribe in danger.

”You seem afraid, whyʼs that?” Grey asked, curious as to why this Leopard would rather talk to him than attack.

”Iʼm afraid of no one. Leave our tribe, we have no enmity with you or your Family.” The Leopard spoke firmly.

”Oh, looks like youʼre afraid that if anything happens to me your tribe will be wiped out, right?” Grey figured out the reason behind the Leopardʼs reluctance not to fight. A smile appeared on his face as he almost said, ʼdumb beastʼ.

If he knew that these Leopards were afraid of any retaliation from his Family, he wouldʼve used it to force them to give him the treasures a long time ago. Who wouldʼve known?

Since heʼs already here and that information has been revealed to him, he didnʼt see any reason why he shouldnʼt use it to force the tribe leader out.

”Iʼll say this once, I came out to test my strength, and Iʼm not leaving without doing that. If you refuse, I wonʼt leave.” He said with a smile.

These Snow Leopards were in this secret realm, yet they still knew how the world usually works. Well, even here there are hierarchies and itʼs normal for this to happen.

”Come, let me test your strength.” Grey took the initiative to attack, not waiting for the Leopardʼs response.

The Leopard didnʼt expect Grey to attack just like that, but it was prepared. It was over a thousand years old, and it has experienced too many things in life, thereʼs no way it would allow a small child that even its great grandchildren are older than.

Boom!

The Leopard blocked Greyʼs light beam attack. It didnʼt want to fight, but it didnʼt mean that it would back out from a fight. Since the human wanted to die early, it didnʼt mind sending him on his way.

The Leopard was very fast, it roared and its figure vanished.

Greyʼs eyes widened when he saw this, the difference in speed between this Snow Leopard and the one that attacked him while ascending the mountain was massive. The Leopard appeared behind him as it swung its claws at him. He turned around, and just like the Leopard, his figure vanished. He too was fast, but right now, his space element is what he used.

He appeared behind the Snow Leopard and attacked, striking at its head.

The Leopard saw Greyʼs attack, and contrary to Greyʼs expectations, it didnʼt dodge, rather, it moved in a human-like way. Using one of its paws, it grabbed Greyʼs leg that was coming towards its head and used Greyʼs momentum to throw him to the side.

Grey was caught unaware, so he lost control of his body for a short while, but given his battle experience, he reacted quickly, hurriedly readjusting his body midair to ensure that he wasnʼt attacked again after being tossed to the side.

The Leopard didnʼt expect Grey to attack in such an orderly manner, even after being tossed to the side, before the Leopard could even react, Grey had already repositioned himself, ensuring that he wasnʼt in a disadvantageous position which was a testament of his shocking battle experience.

The Leopardʼs expression turned serious as it attacked once again, since the fight had begun, whatʼs the point in holding back?

Itʼll beat Grey up, but it knew not to seriously hurt him. It didnʼt have the strength to repel the Family behind Grey. Over the past years, there have been a few tribes that have been wiped out for being overly aggressive towards these human prodigies that trespasses into their tribes.

Itʼs natural that this was the rules of the Magical Beastsʼ Tribes, but all rules have people that they become useless to, take Grey for instance, heʼs one of those people. If Grey is killed here, then the entire Snow Leopard tribe is as good as gone.

As prideful as these beasts, theyʼd rather protect their tribe and endure the shame than to kill Grey.

Boom! Bam! Bang!

The speed of their exchange was frightening. Both parties excelled in terms of speed, well, the Snow Leopard was slightly superior with its short burst speed, but Greyʼs space element gave him the chance to match up to the Leopard.

Most of the Leopards watching couldnʼt believe that Grey was fighting this Leopard on an equal level. This was the first time theyʼve seen such a human prodigy. Itʼs common knowledge that most Magical Beasts are superior to humans in the same realm, so they are used to suppressing their human counterparts.

However, this is one of those instances where the Magical Beast didnʼt get the advantage over its human counterpart.

The fight raged on and some caves which were the residence to some of the Snow Leopards in the tribe had been destroyed by the destructive force from the impact of the duoʼs attacks.

Grey noticed this and although he didnʼt want to destroy the place, he also wanted to force the Late stage Rank Eight Snow Leopard out by all means.

ʼI have to use even more destructive attacks.ʼ

He didnʼt want to kill any of the Snow Leopards here, but it didnʼt mean he couldnʼt hurt a few and cause some minor destruction. As long as the Tribe Leader of the Snow Leopards doesnʼt come out, heʼll continue his destruction.

Boom! Bang!

The number of caves getting destroyed increased exponentially and in a matter of a minute, fifty percent of the caves in the region of the battle had been destroyed. All Snow Leopards below the Eighth Rank who were injured from the impact of the attacks.

The Snow Leopard battling with Grey increased its strength when it noticed that it was being overpowered by Grey, hence causing the massive destruction. It wanted to stop the fight, but for some reason, Grey became more aggressive with his attacks, he didnʼt give it the chance to even retreat.

”Human, youʼre going too far!!!” It roared at the sight of the massive destruction caused to its tribe from the fight. It was clear to see that Grey was doing it on purpose.

”What do you mean? Weʼre just testing each other out.” Grey laughed as he attacked with even more vigor. It was as if he was motivated.
