Rebirth: General, Don't Mess Around!

There were also people in the dormitory who were looking forward to the military training. When they talked about the military training, they were all very excited. They wished that they could start tonight.

”We’re much luckier than the seniors from the previous three batches. The people we invited are all high-quality military school students. They’re all from the military school known as the National Science University. They must be very powerful.”

”Hahaha, I don’t think you want to see how powerful they are. You just want to see how handsome they are. Don’t think too highly of yourself. Reality is cruel!”

”No, that’s the only thing making me look forward to the ten days of military training. I have to think about it. I can’t give up! Do you think they have a good temper? They should be better than the soldiers in the military unit. They’re university students, after all.”

”Stop dreaming, young lady. Although they’re university students, they’re military school students. Besides having lessons, they’re the same as the military unit. My brother is a military school student. When he came back in the first semester of his freshman year, my mother cried and cooked an entire table of food for him. He was so tanned that he was no different from a laborer.”

”Is your brother handsome? Is it possible that he’s among this batch of instructors? If your brother is here, won’t it be easier for us to request for leave?”

”You’re thinking too much again. My brother is only a second-year student. The people who are giving us military training this year are all third-year students. Don’t think too much. Whether they’re ugly or handsome, it’s up to fate. We can’t possibly request a change of instructors just because they’re ugly, right?”

Suddenly, there was a burst of light laughter in the dormitory. The atmosphere in this dormitory was quite good. It would allow those girls who were a little resistant to it to accept it quickly.

Most of the girls had accepted the idea of military training, and only a few resisted it. However, it was easy for these few people to spread their negative emotions to the other students. At this moment, it was up to the entire group to resolve this problem.

The girls were refined, and the group was able to calm them down by having a chat.

There were also boys who secretly went to the class director’s office to request for exemption. It was even more impossible for the boys’ requests to be approved. When the class director saw a boy coming over to request for exemption, the first thing he said was, ”No way. None of the girls came over to request for exemption. Are you really a boy?”

Just this one sentence was enough to make the boys leave dejectedly, not daring to stay any longer.

At least they had some self-esteem. They couldn’t admit that they were inferior to the girls. That would be embarrassing.

There was probably only one boy from every class who wanted to escape the military training. The other boys yearned for it. After all, all men had hot-blooded dreams. Hence, they had a lot of objections to shortening the 15 days of military training to ten days.

”It’s only ten days. Damn, ten days isn’t enough. Even 15 days is too little!”

”Ten days is really not enough. It’ll just be like we’re standing around. We won’t feel anything. I heard that there’ll be shooting practice. Is it true? Is there a shooting range in our school? Is there?”

”There’s nothing we can do about it if ten days isn’t enough. There’ll be shooting practice. I asked our seniors about it. Everyone has an opportunity to shoot with real guns, but they don’t use real bullets. It’s a blank cartridge.”

”I’m not interested in anything else. My biggest interest is shooting. Also, I hope the instructors aren’t bad-tempered. I don’t want to fight with them.”

”There’s no need to fight. This time, they’re all military school students. None of them are soldiers. They’re university students, after all. That itself is a testament to their skills. I just don’t know how good they are. Huh, aren’t you the second runner-up in Taekwondo? Are you thinking of competing with the instructors?”

”Hahaha, if he defeats the instructors, the instructors will be so embarrassed! They probably won’t compete.”

”If we kick up a fuss, the instructors will be embarrassed and will definitely accept the challenge.”

”Alright, alright. It’s settled, then. Let’s watch a good show!”
