Rebirth: General, Don't Mess Around!

V8 widened his eyes. ”You know that Azure Bird was kidnapped?”

Azure Bird… was kidnapped?

If Xia Jinyuan remembered correctly, the only female soldier he knew and whose codename was ’Azure Bird’ was his little fox.

That meant that one of the three female soldiers who was kidnapped was… his little fox, his lover.

Very soon, V8 noticed that something was wrong. His heart skipped a beat. He asked carefully, ”Captain, you only knew that three female soldiers from China were kidnapped but you didn’t know that Azure Bird was one of them? How… did you know?”

”I know that three Chinese female soldiers were kidnapped, but I didn’t know that Azure Bird was among them. The big news you wanted to tell me is that Azure Bird was kidnapped, right?” Xia Jinyuan asked.

However, he didn’t expect V8 to tell him such a huge piece of news the moment he opened his mouth. It shocked him so much that his mind was still buzzing.

He didn’t want to tell his lover that he had already infiltrated the country. He even specially reminded Old Xia not to leak anything. In the end…

In the end, even though they were thousands of miles apart, he and his lover still came across each other.

It had to be said that… they were really fated!

V8 knew that he was a quick-witted person so he nodded slightly. ”Azure Bird’s kidnapping is different from the other two female soldiers. She let herself get kidnapped on purpose to save the other two female soldiers. She also has another mission and needs to help the border defense team to kill Qin Maosheng, who dares to kidnap Chinese soldiers.”

Xia Jinyuan took a deep breath and exhaled slowly. He digested this sudden piece of news that caused his head to buzz. Then, he was filled with anticipation.

He was looking forward to meeting her later. He was looking forward to it…

He didn’t expect them to meet on such an occasion after a year. He didn’t expect this at all!

”In that case, I need to adjust my plan,” he said in a low voice.

V8 looked around and said, ”The higher-ups have also made detailed arrangements. We all think that it’s feasible.”

He then told Xia Jinyuan about Commander Xia and Major General Yang’s combat deployment. After listening, Xia Jinyuan nodded lightly to show his approval.

Tonight, he would complete his plan according to the combat deployment mentioned. He said to V8, ”There’s still 15 minutes left. I’ll go directly to the village where Azure Bird is. Inform G3 and the rest to take a detour and rush to the destination. I’ll drive a car alone later. You can take my car and leave together.”

It was best to leave with a car.

After V8 came back, he immediately informed G3 to change his route and go to the village where the Cloud Leopard Commando Brigade and Azure Bird were.

At 6:00 pm, Qin Maosheng, who had finished his work, appeared on time. He took the same car as Cobra and headed to the village that was more than an hour away from him.

Xia Jinyuan easily got a truck for transportation. He was the last to drive away. He told Cobra that he was worried about Qin Maosheng. With this arrangement, he could keep an eye on him as he drove.

No matter how vigilant and suspicious Cobra was, he wouldn’t have thought that Xia Jinyuan wanted a car to bring his comrade into the village. Moreover, he felt that what Xia Jinyuan said made sense. He nodded in agreement after some consideration.

When Qin Maosheng learned about this, he looked at Xia Jinyuan with even more hostility.

Around 8:00 pm, 57 hours after Ye Jian’s kidnapping, the three female soldiers were dragged out of the dark dungeon again. The members of the Cloud Leopard Commando Brigade, who were hiding in the dark, tensed up.

What were these fellows trying to do?
