Rebirth: General, Don't Mess Around!

Xia Jinyuan, who knew that Chinese female soldiers had been kidnapped, had a killing intent toward Qin Maosheng. However, he ended up pleasing Cobra again. This was something Xia Jinyuan didn’t expect.

Qin Maosheng still had some small matters to settle. He agreed to leave at 6:00 pm sharp for the village where the Chinese female soldiers were. As soon as he left, Cobra started chatting with Xia Jinyuan.

”If he schemed against you, it means that he schemed against me. We don’t have to be too kind to a business partner who hasn’t started working with us.

”Did Luke tell you where we need to go tonight? I admire his courage. He actually dares to kidnap soldiers from a peaceful country. Now, I think that all the initiative is in China’s hands. Let’s put it this way. I told you before that I want to go to China to see an old friend.

Now, I’ve changed my mind.

”I plan to go and see the kidnapped female soldiers with the bold Qin Maosheng first. I want to confirm if he really did it. If he really did it, what would the Chinese do?

”Pretend that they don’t know anything? Or secretly send soldiers to kill Qin Maosheng? If China chooses the former, I can continue to go to China. If China chooses the latter and kills Qin Maosheng, all our previous plans will be canceled and we’ll return immediately.

”Let’s accompany him to take a look tonight. We’ll leave this dangerous place tomorrow morning. As for China, we can go over and take a look the next time we have the chance.

”I heard that there’s a place called the ’Great Wall’ in China. The scenery is very beautiful. I had planned to make a visit. If China chooses to destroy Qin Maosheng directly, I’ll have no choice but to give up on that idea.”

It was rare for Cobra to interact so much with Xia Jinyuan. However, Xia Jinyuan didn’t say much. There was only a slight change in his gaze when Cobra mentioned he wanted to confirm if Qin Maosheng had really kidnapped Chinese female soldiers.

As for the fact that he said that he wanted to see the scenery of the ’Great Wall’, Xia Jinyuan was thinking that the country didn’t welcome him.

He replied calmly, ”Understood.”

For more than a year, Xia Jinyuan had always been quiet. He didn’t seem to feel anything even though Cobra was showing that he trusted him. He just nodded calmly, indicating that he understood and would listen to the arrangements.

His silence was met with a heavy pat on his shoulder from Cobra. The smile on his thin face deepened.

Xia Jinyuan clenched his fists lightly. He really hoped that Qin Maosheng’s plan for tonight wouldn’t change. That way, he could go and see if the people kidnapped were really Chinese female soldiers.

Also…

It was five o’clock now. There was still an hour before they set off. He needed to inform his comrades who should be hiding nearby.

V8 saw Xia Jinyuan’s hand signal through the binoculars. He passed the binoculars to his comrades and said softly, ”Q King asked me to go over and look for him. Keep an eye on him. I’ll go and see him. I’ll also tell him about our plan.”

Xia Jinyuan was able to move around freely, so it was easy for him to meet V8. Only when he took the initiative to ask for a meeting and pointed out the location could V8 and the rest meet him.

”Are you going to tell Q King that… Azure Bird is one of the kidnapped female soldiers?” V8, who was preparing to leave, pursed his lips after being reminded by his comrade.

Damn it, he almost forgot about this!

Should he say it or not?

V8 came back and contacted G3. ”Should we tell him? Will it affect Q King?”
