Rebirth: General, Don't Mess Around!

While waiting for Xia Jinyuan and Luke to come back, Cobra asked his men to pay attention to their surroundings. He didn’t want to attract the attention of the Chinese armed forces before he left.

The bodyguards were instructed to pay close attention to their surroundings. From time to time, they would find a high ground and secretly observe the entire village with binoculars and the nearby mountains. When V8 and the rest saw this, they didn’t dare to move rashly. They maintained their current posture and didn’t move.

Even if insects crawled into their clothes and bit them, they would maintain their original posture.

G3 and the rest had already known that Xia Jinyuan would take a car to reach the village where V8 was. They took a shortcut and rushed to the destination. They wanted to meet up with V8 as soon as possible.

At around 4:00 pm that day, a few photos of the Chinese female soldiers kneeling on the ground with their hands and feet tied appeared in Xu Yu’s hands. The photos were sandwiched in the newspaper. A child had handed them to the armed police officer who was guarding the checkpoint. In the end, they were passed to Xu Yu.

The photos were in Xu Yu’s hands. However, the members of the Cloud Leopard Commando Brigade didn’t see Qin Maosheng appearing in the village where the female soldiers were imprisoned. This made them suspect that their target might not come over.

If he didn’t come over, should they consider going to the village where Qin Maosheng was at and killing him directly?

The team leader of the Cloud Leopard Commando Brigade had just reported their current situation and his thoughts to the military, but the military rejected his suggestion.

”There’s no need to adjust our combat strategy. Qin Maosheng can’t appear for the time being because he has something to do. Wait patiently.” This was the reply from the military to the Cloud Leopard Commando Brigade that was guarding the village where Ye Jian was imprisoned.

According to the report from the special forces, Qin Maosheng was still in the same village. He didn’t have any intention of going to the village where the female soldiers were locked up.

In addition, Commander Xia had already arrived at the military district and was sitting in the conference room with the leaders of the military district. He made adjustments to this mission again. The Cloud Leopard Commando Brigade was on standby and continued to observe the situation closely.

There were three juniors in his family who were in danger at the same time. Commander Xia, who was far away in the capital city, finished dealing with his matters and took the earliest Class One plane to Changshui Airport this morning. He arrived at the military area around 1:00 pm.

Then, he went to the border defense checkpoint with the leader of the military to meet Xu Yu.

While the members of the Cloud Leopard Commando Brigade, who were guarding the village where the female soldiers were imprisoned, were reporting their situation to the higher-ups, Commander Xia, who was sitting in the conference room, was holding the photos of the Chinese female soldiers kneeling while being held at gunpoint.

When he saw the photos taken from the front, left, and right angles, his expression was so dark that the leaders of the military couldn’t help but hold their breaths. Their hearts were in their throats.

He threw the photos in his hands onto the conference table and slapped it heavily. Commander Xia’s gaze was cold as he said, ”They’re lawless! They want to trample on the faces of our Chinese soldiers to show off. Who gave them the guts?”

Even though Commander Xia knew why Qin Maosheng kidnapped the Chinese female soldiers, the moment he saw the photos, the anger in his heart burned. He slammed the table angrily. The entire conference room was so quiet that even the sound of their breathing couldn’t be heard.

”How’s the firepower of the members of the Cloud Leopard Commando Brigade? How far are the two villages from each other? How many people are there? What’s the firepower? Do you have an accurate number?”

Commander Xia was the only one who broke the silence. Besides him, no one else dared to speak.
