Chapter 387: Chapter 387: Xuan Bird Battles Nether Blood Green Wooden Dragon

”Who are these two? How can there be such powerful Cultivators in the Nether Immortal Cave?”

The Nether Blood Green Wooden Dragon hovered in mid-air, its pair of bluish-green dragon eyes revealing a hint of confusion.

”Xuan bird, you’re also at the First Level of the Eternal Realm. Why don’t you try your hand against this Divine Dragon?” Ye Yun suggested with a smirk.

”Master, I also want to experience this Divine Dragon’s might, so I’ll go and meet it now,” the Xuan bird said, bowing with clasped hands.

Although it was an ancient Divine Beast, it had never fought a Divine Dragon before. Now that their cultivation base was comparable, it also wanted to see who was truly stronger.

Ye Yun lightly tapped, and a white light entered the Xuan bird’s body.

”Go. This Mana can protect you from its potent poison,” Ye Yun chuckled.

”Haha, thank you, Master!” the Xuan bird quickly expressed its gratitude. Its body flashed, transforming into a beam of black light that shot into the sky.

Ye Yun lifted his head, watching the imminent battle with keen interest.

Once in the air, the Xuan bird transformed, revealing its true form as a gigantic black bird. Only in its true form could it unleash its full combat potential. The Nether Blood Green Wooden Dragon opposite it was already in its Dragon Body.

This battle could be described as a ’dragon versus phoenix’ duel.

”Oh, my goodness! What kind of dragon is this?”

Outside the Nether Immortal Cave, the Big Black Horse peeked inside. Seeing the enormous, vibrant green Giant dragon, it too wore an expression of shock.

WHOOSH!

A red Little Cat suddenly landed on the Big Black Horse’s head and peered down.

”Boss, it’s unexpected, but there’s actually a surviving Nether Blood Green Wooden Dragon on the Cangnan Continent.” A hint of surprise appeared on the Bloody Overlord Demonic Dragon’s face. ”Well, well,” it said, clicking its tongue.

”This little dragon is pathetically weak.” The Azure Sea Heavenly Dragon opened one eye for a glance, then closed it again. As a Divine Dragon of the Divine Monarch Realm, it had no interest whatsoever in this kind of battle. It was like watching two infants fight.

”That dragon’s poison is so strong...” After hearing the Bloody Overlord Demonic Dragon’s words, the Big Black Horse nodded. Recalling the green gas, it mused aloud.

”Yes, in Ancient Times, some Dragon Clans were Poison Dragons, possessing potent and bizarre toxins. Their killing power was astonishing. Because of this, Lord Ancestor Dragon imposed strict restrictions on them during that era,” the Bloody Overlord Demonic Dragon murmured.

”This battle... who do you think will win, Number Two?” Hearing the Bloody Overlord Demonic Dragon’s words, the Big Black Horse grinned, revealing its white teeth.

”The Nether Blood Green Wooden Dragon will definitely win. The Xuan bird is still somewhat lacking,” the Bloody Overlord Demonic Dragon chuckled. As a member of the Dragon Clan, it naturally wanted to support its own kind.

”Well, let’s wait and see then,” the Big Black Horse smiled and said.

In the void of the Nether Immortal Cave, a gigantic black Xuan bird and an enormous Nether Blood Green Wooden Dragon faced off in mid-air. The auras of the two Divine Beasts clashed violently, creating astonishing popping sounds.

”You must be the legendary Xuan bird, correct? Why have you come to my Nether Immortal Cave?” the Nether Blood Green Wooden Dragon stared coldly at the Xuan bird and questioned loudly.

”Enough nonsense! Let’s exchange a few blows first!” the Xuan bird roared. Its wings flapped, creating a violent wind, as it shot out its black claws, swiping fiercely at the Nether Blood Green Wooden Dragon.

Seeing the Xuan bird attack at the slightest disagreement, the Nether Blood Green Wooden Dragon was also enraged. It roared, ”You want to fight me? You’re not my match!”

With that, it shook its head and swished its tail, extending a scale-covered green claw to meet the incoming black one.

BOOM!

The claws of the green and black demon beasts collided, emitting a thunderous sound. A massive shockwave spread wildly in all directions. However, before it could reach the surrounding cave walls, the shockwave inexplicably vanished.

This was, of course, Ye Yun’s doing. He wanted to keep the Nether Immortal Cave intact, to prevent the battle between these two demon beasts from damaging other parts of the Nether Immortal Cave as much as possible.

A tremendous force sent the Xuan bird reeling backward continuously. It flapped its wings furiously, stirring up hurricanes, just to stabilize its body.

Truly worthy of the Dragon Clan! Such formidable physical strength! The Xuan bird was secretly astonished.

However, with its Lord supervising from below, it dared not slack off. It charged at the Nether Blood Green Wooden Dragon once more.

”You’re courting death!” Enraged, the Nether Blood Green Wooden Dragon opened its mouth and spewed out a vast cloud of green poisonous gas.

WHOOSH!

The poisonous gas blotted out the sky, rushing towards the Xuan bird like a dark cloud.

The Xuan bird didn’t dodge or evade. Instead, it folded its wings and flew straight through the green poisonous gas, continuing its attack towards the Nether Blood Green Wooden Dragon.

What? It isn’t afraid of the poisonous gas? Seeing the Xuan bird fly through the poisonous gas unscathed, the Nether Blood Green Wooden Dragon was utterly shocked.

It was very confident in its poison. If this Eternal Realm Xuan bird was tainted by its unique poisonous gas, although it wouldn’t die immediately, its movements would at least be hindered.

But clearly... this Xuan bird was completely unaffected, seemingly possessing some degree of immunity to its poisonous gas.

Seeing its poisonous gas was ineffective, the Nether Blood Green Wooden Dragon could only brace itself and rely on its powerful physique to battle the black Xuan bird.

BAM! BAM!

The two colossal figures engaged in a fierce close-quarters battle in mid-air.

Although the Xuan bird’s attacks were ferocious, they still couldn’t break through the Nether Blood Green Wooden Dragon’s defenses. Even when it occasionally managed to breach its defenses, the Xuan bird was astonished to find that the green Giant dragon’s recovery ability was incredibly strong. Even if its body was wounded, the injury would heal in an instant.

After dozens of rounds, the Xuan bird’s advantage had completely vanished. It could only rely on its extreme speed to constantly maneuver around the Nether Blood Green Wooden Dragon. Occasionally, due to a moment of carelessness, it would be struck by the dragon’s tail, losing a few black feathers.

Standing in the void below, Ye Yun observed the scene. The Dragon Clan is indeed the Dragon Clan, he mused. Even one that has just hatched from its shell possesses such incredibly formidable combat strength. His figure flickered, and in an instant, he appeared at the center of their battle.

BANG!

Ye Yun waved his arm, and a mysterious force rippled out, separating the Xuan bird and the Nether Blood Green Wooden Dragon.

”Xuan bird, stop. You are not its match yet,” Ye Yun commanded with a smile.

Hearing his Lord’s words, the Xuan bird felt ashamed. It transformed back into the black-robed young man and landed beside Ye Yun.

”Don’t blame yourself.” Ye Yun patted the Xuan bird’s shoulder, speaking softly. He then retracted his arm and turned his gaze to the Nether Blood Green Wooden Dragon opposite them.

”Xuan bird, has your helper arrived?” The Nether Blood Green Wooden Dragon, now truly enraged, lowered its massive head. Gazing at the two tiny figures before it, it let out the derisive chuckle of a victor.

”You, a mere Eternal Realm little dragon, are still no match for me. I’ll find you a new opponent,” Ye Yun chuckled. With a mere thought, he teleported the Bloody Overlord Demonic Dragon, who had been enjoying the spectacle, to their location.

In the void, a red Little Cat suddenly appeared.

The red Little Cat stared at the Nether Blood Green Wooden Dragon, which now appeared incredibly massive before it, its eyes filled with a bewildered expression.

It had been comfortably watching the excitement from the cave roof just moments ago. How did it suddenly end up right in front of the Nether Blood Green Wooden Dragon?
