The Female CEO's Personal Bodyguard

There are eight tags on one side, as for the magical treasure and space ring seized, each side gets half. Whether there are many good things in the space ring depends on luck.

After neatly dividing the items, Lorvric Stein enthusiastically asked, ”Flores, what do we do next?”

Carson Flores smiled and said, ”Let’s part ways for now. We still need to find our Sect’s team and join them.”

Lorvric Stein was slightly stunned and tried to persuade, ”Now many have already formed teams. If the three of you act alone and encounter a Barbarian Tribe team, it might be dangerous. Why not join us instead?”

After hesitating for a moment, Lorvric Stein offered conditions: ”We collaborated very well just now. In the future, we can discuss everything. If there’s any gain, we can share it according to contribution, so you definitely won’t be shortchanged.”

Carson Flores declined politely, ”Earlier, we cooperated with you because that team was looking for me. If they found me, it would be easy to fall into a trap with a high success rate. Moving forward, it probably won’t be as easy.”

”Of course, that’s not the main reason. We also need to find the Illusory Snake Sect’s team to help each other and reduce unnecessary losses. Even if I kill more, if our Illusory Snake Sect suffers heavy losses, it’s not worth it. I hope you understand, Fellow.”

Seeing Carson Flores had spoken to such an extent, Lorvric Stein had no choice but to give up: ”Alright, be careful then. We plan to operate in this area, so if you come, we can meet up. It’s safer for everyone to gather.”

”Alright!”

Carson Flores agreed readily, then left promptly with Niall Sinclair and Samir Coffey.

Lorvric Stein watched the backs of Carson Flores and the two others, furrowing his brows slightly.

A disciple nearby whispered, ”Are we just letting them go like that? They have sixteen tags on them...”

Lorvric Stein sighed, ”They are wary of us. When we first met, he saw our projection was on, so he took out the tags to prove his strength. After the battle ended, they activated the Projection Array themselves, fearing we might turn it off and backstab them.”

”I initially wanted to invite him along to see if there was an opportunity to trick someone on the way or fish in troubled waters, but they clearly didn’t trust us, so they left swiftly.”

Lorvric Stein looked around and comforted, ”Let’s not dwell on it now that it’s over. Regardless, none of us were harmed, and we easily won a battle, gaining eight tags, which is a good haul.”

Everyone thought he was right. Getting eight tags in one go is no small feat.

The Barbarian Tribe only has a little over two hundred people in total!

”Let’s move on to the next rendezvous point.”

...

”That guy’s mind isn’t right, he’s probably plotting something. If we had really stayed, we might get stabbed in the back at any moment!”

Samir Coffey sneered, ”We have sixteen tags. Who wouldn’t be tempted!”

Carson Flores chuckled, ”I activated the Formation right after the battle, otherwise, there’s no telling if they’d turn hostile immediately. We wouldn’t stand a chance in a straight fight.”

Niall Sinclair asked, ”Are we really going to find other people from Illusory Snake Sect?”

Carson Flores turned his head to look at Samir Coffey, ”What do you suggest?”

Samir Coffey thought for a moment, ”It’s not a bad idea. Team sizes are growing rapidly, faster than expected. If the three of us continue alone, it might be hard to find others who are alone.”

Carson Flores nodded, ”Then let’s move towards the second meeting point. If we can meet up, we should; if not, we’ll just keep a low profile. Safety first. Even if we don’t get a single tag from now to the end, having sixteen tags is already a lot.”

Samir Coffey laughed heartily, ”It’s more than a lot; with over two hundred people, anyone who gets a dozen is definitely ahead.”

Carson Flores smiled, ”We’re able to consolidate the tags on you alone; other sects will certainly do the same. In the end, although the Demon Race is an alliance, there’s still competition among the sects.”

Samir Coffey nodded, ”That’s true. By the end, when the tags from all the Great Sects gather together, the number will definitely be substantial.”

Niall Sinclair suddenly posed a question: ”If we join up with others, and the Saint Heir demands we give him the tags, what then?”

Samir Coffey sneered, ”Why should I give him? He’s already learned the Sand Dragon Illusion God Technique, and I haven’t yet. Why doesn’t he give it to me?”

Carson Flores waved nonchalantly, ”Don’t worry about it. Let’s not say anything for now. If things don’t work out, we’ll hide and safely wait for the competition to end.”

”That works, let’s just see what happens!”

Samir Coffey laughed, ”Even if they team up and snatch some tags, they definitely won’t have more than us. Why should we give them more tags?”
