The Female CEO's Personal Bodyguard

”Bro, you’re impersonating the Saint of Thieves and saying you want to steal the Fenshen Sword. If the Saint of Thieves finds out, won’t he be pissed?”

Carson Flores laughed nonchalantly and said, ”The Saint of Thieves dares to provoke even the Ten Thousand Immortals Hall Master Master of Path and snatch Cyrveth McCarty’s Heaven-devouring Altar from the Skyreach Sect, so why would he be afraid of the City of Netherfire? He can take the blame for this; he really doesn’t care.”

”Besides, we’re somewhat acquaintances. He’s got no problem taking the fall for me; after all, he won’t lose a single hair...”

Ilvarion Arnold chuckled, ”That’s true. You did teach him the Space Turbulence Technique. In comparison, this isn’t much.”

Carson Flores said with a smile, ”Smoke and mirrors, let Elthar Garber worry about it. Out of precaution, he’s definitely going to keep the Dark Ancestral Dragon alive, lest it might come in handy in the future. Killing the Dark Ancestral Dragon now would only deepen hatred, without any benefit.”

Niall Sinclair laughed lightly, ”The Dark Ancestral Dragon is really unlucky; just regained freedom and now might be imprisoned again.”

Carson Flores chuckled, ”To be honest, I feel a bit sorry for this, but there’s no choice. Wanting to sever the ties means we can’t avoid the Fenshen Sword or Elthar Garber, and he’s been targeting us for a while. Whatever the timing, the result would be the same.”

”Anyway, he’s been in that dark underground for thousands of years, he’s already used to it. If he’s imprisoned, so be it. I’ll rescue him once I’m powerful enough.”

The three headed southeast, undisturbed, reaching the border’s Domain Gate.

Carson Flores carefully scouted the area, noticing the Ten Thousand Immortals Palace’s wanted notices posted near the Domain Gate checkpoint.

Wanted for the Saint of Thieves, wanted for Snow Zane, and... that’s it!

Yes, there was no wanted notice for Carson Flores, nor for Niall Sinclair and Ilvarion Arnold.

When the wanted notices were issued, Carson Flores was considered dead in the Master of Path’s eyes, while Niall Sinclair and Ilvarion Arnold had not appeared during that massacre, thus they were not even considered significant enough to be noticed, and treated as mere lackeys.

As for the City of Netherfire, they might be nervously waiting for the Saint of Thieves now; whether the Master of Path has gone there too remains unknown.

Ilvarion Arnold, carrying the Ethereal Pagoda, easily passed the checkpoint and crossed the Domain Gate into the Southern Wilderness.

Once again seeing the blue skies, blazing sunlight, and the scenic views of mountains and waters, the three had a sense of being in a different world.

After spending so many years in the West Prison, they gradually became accustomed to the dim, sunless days there. Comparing now, it’s clear why the West Prison people envy Immortal cultivators from other regions; it’s not without reason.

”Come, Cassiane, lend a hand.”

Niall Sinclair hailed from the Abyssal Sect and was a key nurtured talent there; naturally, he mastered the Bloodline Traction Technique. When out and about, this technique is a formidable tracking tool across many situations.

The reason for asking Niall Sinclair to perform it was due to his superior strength compared to Carson Flores, being a Superior Grade Great Land Supreme Immortal with a sensing range for the technique far greater than Carson Flores.

A Great Land Prime Immortal deploying the Bloodline Traction Technique can sense within a domain, and although Niall Sinclair was slightly weaker, it was sufficient, with the option to run around more, covering a north-south span.

Fresh blood soared from Carson Flores’ wrist, forming a blood clot, and fell into the radiant Compass, then transformed into a blood-colored needle steadily pointing southeast.

Carson Flores’ eyes lit up in delight.

Got it!

Previously, Floating Cloud helped Carson Flores measure once, and the bloodline pointer then pointed southward, leading Floating Cloud to speculate Samir Coffey might be in the Southern Wilderness, now verified.

Thinking it through, Samir Coffey, being the Demon Emperor, going to the Ten Thousand Immortals Domain, naturally would choose the Southern Wilderness, as it’s the realm of the Demon Race and the Barbarian Tribe, suiting his identity.

Just unsure of how Samir Coffey has been faring lately.

But considering Samir Coffey’s talent and disposition, he’s likely doing quite well. Back when he ascended to the Immortal Realm alongside Carson Flores, Samir Coffey took the unorthodox path of Creation, rapidly boosting his strength to the peak under Great Land.

”Let’s go!”

The trio journeyed forward, occasionally encountering trouble, but with their power, anyone causing them trouble would find themselves truly bothered.

After all, a Great Land Prime Immortal is top-tier in the Immortal Realm, being a distinguished figure; who would randomly cause others trouble on their journey?

Guided by the Bloodline Traction Technique, Carson Flores and his companions finally located the target’s position, a range of mountains surrounded by a Formation.

Each of these peaks towered into the clouds, majestic and spectacular, shrouded in white haze like an immortal’s realm.

”Allow me to send an incarnation to investigate.”

Niall Sinclair asked, ”Coming from nowhere, they may not let us in.”

Carson Flores chuckled, casually pulling out a Token from the Myriad Immortals Palace’s Battle Hall. He had several such tokens, deliberately left by Snow Zane during that battle.

”I’m a disciple from the Myriad Immortals Palace Battle Hall, out on business and visiting friends. I don’t believe anyone would dare deny me entry!”

Niall Sinclair couldn’t help but laugh, ”You’ve gotten addicted to impersonating, haven’t you?”

Carson Flores laughed heartily, flipping the Token in his hand, ”Out and about, identity is something you assign yourself...”
