The Female CEO's Personal Bodyguard

Chapter 1657: Chapter 1657: Maybe he’s thinking about getting rid of you

Aron Bernard left with a face like thunder.

He found himself caught between a rock and a hard place.

His so-called infatuation might be commendable in others’ eyes, but what does it amount to in front of Samantha Tate and Carson Flores as a couple?

You’re infatuated with a married woman. Do you have the nerve to make a show of affection in front of the couple?

Have some dignity, will you?

Maybe if their relationship was rocky, there would be something to say, but when both of them dislike you, what do you count for?

A clown?

Look at that man, he’s like a dog.

A big lapdog!

Even Aron Bernard, with his strong mental defenses, couldn’t help but crumble under these circumstances.

Even the most devoted lapdog has a mental limit, let alone Aron Bernard, who actually has ulterior motives and isn’t purely a sincere lapdog.

If Samantha Tate wasn’t the True Disciple of the Palace Master, if she and the Palace Master weren’t both of the Wood Spirit Physique, would Aron Bernard behave like this?

A beautiful woman?

With Aron Bernard’s status as the senior brother, could he be lacking pretty women around him?

After Aron Bernard left, he quickly calmed down.

Should he give up?

Only a few people knew about today’s meeting, and they wouldn’t go around publicizing it. If Aron was willing to let go, then it would be over.

Aron Bernard’s gaze flickered with intense emotions.

Logic told him that this play should end here; it couldn’t go on any longer, especially since Samantha Tate seemed to genuinely like that man. For the sake of Carson Flores, she wasn’t leaving any face for Aron.

In her eyes, that man was her world!

He understood now that as long as that man was around, he had no chance!

Give up?

Aron Bernard was unwilling.

Even though he had absorbed a trace of the Primordial War Soul, he was still far from possessing the Primordial War Body.

Samantha Tate had a Wood Spirit Physique, was cultivating the Divine Wood Secret Art, and her strength was progressing rapidly. She had already been accepted as the True Disciple of the Palace Master. In the future, Samantha Tate was bound to surpass him, become a representative figure of the Divine Wood Palace, and possibly even the next Palace Master.

The Wood Spirit Physique is always the most valued special physique in the Divine Wood Palace.

If he could be with Samantha Tate, even if she became the next Palace Master, wouldn’t he still be able to manipulate her and effectively control the entire Divine Wood Palace?

Thinking of this, Aron Bernard’s previously low spirits began to churn again.

Unwilling!

As the most outstanding young disciple, he was certainly the best match for Samantha Tate!

What if...

What if Carson Flores died?

Once he’s gone, she might stop insisting.

Ten years, twenty years, she should forget eventually. After all, the living should look forward, right?

The best way to replace an old affection is by developing a new one, right?

When she’s at her most heartbroken and lost, wouldn’t that be the easiest time for him to move in?

With this thought, Aron Bernard’s resentful heart suddenly became active again. He heard they both came from the Lower Realm together, so Carson Flores’s strength couldn’t be that remarkable, right?

He just needed to kill him quietly, and the rest would naturally fall into place, wouldn’t it?

Besides, after such humiliation, was he supposed to just take it?

Revenge was a must!

With that thought, Aron Bernard suddenly felt a sense of clarity.

Revenge!

Get rid of Carson Flores!

Take advantage of Samantha Tate’s emotional vulnerability, invade and completely possess her body and mind, thoroughly control her, make her obey his every command!

For a woman, once her body belongs to you, won’t her heart soon follow?

Once her heart belongs to you, won’t her obedience follow naturally?

Aron Bernard flew straight back to his Cave Mansion, and by the time he arrived, he had already made up his mind.

Murder had to be quiet and safe!

If Carson Flores was with Evan Foster of the Treasure Path Sect, then he definitely couldn’t make his move, since the two seemed to have an unusual relationship.

Uh, who is Carson Flores to have such a bond with Evan Foster?

Aron Bernard harbored a bit of doubt, as it seemed Carson Flores wasn’t ordinary either, but he subconsciously ignored this factor because the more he thought about it, the less he dared act.

No matter who he is, no matter where he comes from, his strength certainly isn’t formidable; it would be a breeze to kill him!

The only thing he needed to watch out for was not revealing his identity!

What if he didn’t kill him outright and his Primordial Spirit escaped?

Thinking about this, Aron Bernard had a complete plan. He ordered someone to bring in a subordinate.

”Keep an eye on Evan Foster from the Treasure Path Sect living in the Reception Tower and the man with him. If either of them leaves, notify me immediately!”

”Yes!”

...

Reception Tower.

Evan Foster laughed heartily, ”Oh, this whole thing was hilarious! Look at his face when he walked out just now, looking like he lost his parents, so pathetic!”

Carson Flores chuckled, ”It’s normal to be upset and emotional when someone is down. Your comparison is really heartless.”

Evan Foster chuckled, ”Didn’t he bring it on himself? It was perfectly clear, yet he insisted on stepping in, bringing nothing but embarrassment to himself!”

Carson Flores smiled, ”Do you think he’ll drop it after this?”

Evan Foster smacked his lips and laughed, ”Who knows, he might be plotting on how to get rid of you and replace you right now!”
