The Female CEO's Personal Bodyguard

Chapter 1656: Chapter 1656: The Little Fun Between Husband and Wife, Don’t Tell Me You Don’t Know?

Guest Welcoming Pavilion.

Evan Foster had just woken up and was eating breakfast when a maiden came in to report.

”Disciple Aron Bernard from Divine Wood Palace has come to visit.”

Evan Foster was taken aback.

Aron Bernard?

What is this guy doing coming here so early in the morning?

And I don’t even know him.

Uh, wait a minute.

Samantha Tate?

Evan Foster’s expression suddenly became quite colorful.

Aron Bernard sent someone to keep an eye on Samantha Tate, so he knows she spent the night here?

Does he think there’s something between Samantha Tate and me?

Ah, this unexpected burden is really beyond anticipation!

Evan Foster didn’t mind taking the blame, but it also depended on whether Carson Flores and Samantha Tate wanted him to carry this burden, considering it concerned Samantha Tate’s reputation.

”Go and tell Carson Flores and Samantha Tate about this matter.”

”Yes!”

Carson Flores was lying in bed with Samantha Tate, sleeping in. They hadn’t seen each other in years, and now that they were reunited, naturally, much exchanging took place in the evening which meant staying up late.

”Aron Bernard?”

Carson Flores had a strange look on his face, while Samantha Tate looked furious.

So embarrassing.

They were both smart and immediately figured out the crux of the situation.

Aron Bernard misunderstood, thinking that there was an intimate relationship between Samantha Tate and Evan Foster. Otherwise, why would she not return all night?

Aron Bernard must always be keeping an eye on Samantha Tate, otherwise, how would he know she didn’t return last night?

Samantha Tate angrily crawled out of Carson Flores’s arms: ”I’m going to drive him away!”

Carson Flores held onto Samantha Tate, smiling: ”It’s come to this point, I can’t hide any longer. Let’s go meet him together.”

Samantha Tate worriedly said: ”What if your whereabouts get exposed?”

Carson Flores laughed: ”I’ll just meet Aron Bernard, it’s not a big deal. After all, Aron Bernard, as a key disciple of Divine Wood Palace, can’t possibly be a member of the Heavenly Alliance.”

After simply tidying up, the two went downstairs.

Evan Foster greeted them with a smile: ”What’s the plan?”

Carson Flores wore a slightly helpless expression: ”Let him in, let’s meet him. He seems quite persistent.”

Evan Foster couldn’t hold back his laughter and laughed heartily.

Samantha Tate’s face blushed slightly, her eyes filled with anger, and in her heart, she cursed Aron Bernard over and over again.

Why is it your business where I go!

I have nothing to do with you, so why are you interfering?

Aron Bernard waited at the door for a long time before being invited inside by the maiden.

With just one glance, Aron Bernard saw Samantha Tate, but to his surprise, she was not standing next to Evan Foster but rather next to an unfamiliar man, looking close and with a slightly angry gaze at him.

”Sister Samantha, are you alright?”

Evan Foster sneered: ”Aron Bernard, what do you mean by this?”

Aron Bernard spoke in a serious tone: ”Saint Heir Evan, although you are the Saint Heir of the Treasure Path Sect, my Divine Wood Palace is not some minor sect, and Sister Samantha is the Direct Disciple of the Palace Master, you cannot do as you please!”

”Senior Brother Aron!”

Samantha Tate shouted angrily: ”What nonsense are you talking about?”

Aron Bernard looked puzzled and explained: ”Sister, I heard you didn’t return all night, I was just worried about you...”

Carson Flores laughed: ”It seems Daoist Li is very concerned about Yueyue, always keeping an eye on her whereabouts.”

Aron Bernard’s face changed slightly: ”And who are you? Such a casual use of the name Yueyue, do you even have the right?”

Carson Flores chuckled: ”She’s my wife, what I call her doesn’t seem to have anything to do with you, but your hand seems a bit overstretched here, meddling too far.”

Wife!

Aron Bernard’s face changed dramatically, instantly turning to Samantha Tate, hoping she would deny this claim.

Samantha Tate spoke in a serious tone: ”Senior Brother Aron, this is my husband Carson Flores, your previous actions have already caused us too much inconvenience, please be respectful!”

Carson Flores?

Samantha Tate’s husband?

Despite having strong self-control, Aron Bernard felt as if a storm was raging inside.

Yesterday, he had seen Evan Foster, and at that time, Carson Flores seemed to be standing beside Evan Foster, which meant all his actions were witnessed by Carson Flores?

Aron Bernard felt deeply humiliated.

Here he was being emotional, while her husband was quietly watching from the sidelines, like observing a clown jumping around.

Evan Foster laughed: ”Daoist Li, what you’ve done is really unscrupulous. The couple hasn’t seen each other for years, and now reunited, they’re all lovey-dovey, and here you come, sticking your nose in. This is utterly uncalled for, and if word gets out, haha, who knows what people will say about you.”

Aron Bernard was already frustrated to death, and Evan Foster’s words were like a knife stabbing into his heart.

Aron Bernard’s defenses broke.

”If he’s Sister Samantha’s husband, why can’t he openly visit instead of sneaking around like this?”

Evan Foster clicked his tongue in appreciation: ”Do you know what a surprise is? It’s a bit of romance between a couple; surely you understand that, right?”

Aron Bernard felt stabbed once more.

He raised his eyes to look at the three in front of him: Evan Foster looked like he was enjoying the show, his eyes full of ridicule; Samantha Tate had angry eyes; Carson Flores had a faint smile on his face, though devoid of any ridicule, yet this smile seemed exceptionally detestable to Aron Bernard.

That is the smile of a victor!
