The Female CEO's Personal Bodyguard

Chapter 1653: Chapter 1653: He Won’t Die, He’s the Strongest!

Samantha Tate did not respond further to Aron’s remarks.

Seeing this, Aron Bernard stopped speaking, bowed to the audience in all directions, and said, ”I apologize for letting everyone witness this embarrassing scene.”

Aron Bernard exited gracefully without showing any embarrassment from his public confession being rejected.

Evan Foster praised, ”This brother has a strong mental fortitude, to be rejected in front of so many people yet remain calm and composed...”

Jericho James felt a bit awkward, as this was clearly a way of calling Aron thick-skinned.

”Saint Heir Foster, I’ll have Samantha Tate come over right away.”

Evan Foster smiled and said, ”Let’s meet in private later. I don’t want to become a thorn in certain people’s eyes.”

Due to Aron Bernard’s actions, Samantha Tate was under everyone’s scrutiny. If Evan Foster were to meet her here, who knows how much more gossip would arise.

”Alright!”

Evan Foster, accompanied by a group of beautiful maidens, was very eye-catching and quickly drew a lot of attention.

”Who is that? He doesn’t seem like a disciple of the Divine Wood Palace, does he?”

”A man with so many beautiful maidens, isn’t that a bit too extravagant?”

”Elder Jericho James is accompanying him; he must be quite important.”

”Isn’t that the Saint Heir of the Treasure Path Sect, Evan Foster, ranked seventh on the Immortal Ranking, known as the Sickly Young Master? What’s he doing at the Divine Wood Palace?”

”The Saint Heir of the Treasure Path Sect? No wonder he’s making such a grand entrance...”

Not far away, Aron Bernard, surrounded by his senior and junior disciples, turned his head to look at Evan Foster, furrowing his brows slightly.

On the eastern mountain peak.

Palace Master Rafael Gibbs sat in a chair, with Samantha Tate standing behind him, her expression slightly indignant.

Aron Bernard was too annoying.

She had already talked to him, but he pretended not to hear, and now he pulled such a stunt, it was infuriating.

If her brother found out about this, who knows if he would be upset!

Such a nuisance!

If it weren’t for them being fellow sect members, and if she could beat him, Samantha Tate would have charged up and given him a good beating, and after that, she would have said one thing.

You’re not worthy!

Rafael Gibbs chuckled and said, ”Aron Bernard is quite interesting.”

Samantha Tate replied with a long face, ”Master, he’s completely messing around, aren’t you going to do something about it?”

Rafael Gibbs chuckled and said, ”Liking you is his freedom. Even though I’m the Palace Master, I can’t control that. Besides, with his talent, he’s an outstanding disciple of our Divine Wood Palace with limitless future prospects. If you were with him, it would also be beneficial for our Divine Wood Palace...”

Samantha Tate protested, ”Master, I’m married!”

Rafael Gibbs laughed softly, ”I know you’re married, and I’m not forcing you to choose Aron Bernard. However, it does seem unfair that you’ve been in the sect for nearly ten years, and your husband hasn’t sent a single message.”

Samantha Tate naturally defended Carson Flores, ”He must be busy. Once he’s done, he’ll naturally come to see me.”

Rafael Gibbs smiled and said, ”He refused to join the sect and traveled alone. With just the strength of an Early Human Immortal, it’s very dangerous out there. After all these years, he hasn’t even sent word...”

Samantha Tate naturally understood the underlying message of Rafael Gibbs’ words, suggesting that her brother might have encountered danger and perished.

No way her brother would perish!

Her brother is the best!

He ventured alone into the Barbaric Wilderness Realm and rose to become the Human Emperor, even saving the daughter of the Immortal Domain Lord. What he accomplished, who else could do it?

Aron Bernard?

Ha!

Samantha Tate replied, ”I’ll go find him once I’m a bit stronger.”

Elder Jericho James came over and saluted, ”Palace Master, the Saint Heir of the Treasure Path Sect, Evan Foster, is visiting.”

Rafael Gibbs was surprised and asked, ”What’s he here for?”

Jericho James replied, ”A private visit to a friend.”

Rafael Gibbs laughed and said, ”Does our Divine Wood Palace have a friend of his? Who might it be?”

Jericho James’ gaze fell on Samantha Tate, who was standing behind Rafael Gibbs, ”Samantha Tate.”

Rafael Gibbs was startled and turned to look at Samantha Tate, only to see her face filled with astonishment as well.

”Do you know Evan Foster?”

Samantha Tate, bewildered, replied, ”I don’t know him. This is the first time I’ve heard his name.”

Rafael Gibbs was puzzled and asked, ”If you don’t know him, why would he come looking for you specifically?”

Samantha Tate shook her head, ”I have no idea.”

Jericho James was also somewhat confused, ”You don’t know him?”

Samantha Tate confirmed, ”When I first ascended from the Barbaric Wilderness Realm, Elder Bai brought me back to the Divine Wood Palace. I haven’t really gone out much all these years. How could I know the Saint Heir from the Treasure Path Sect?”

Jericho James had a strange expression, ”I also asked him how he knew you, and he replied that a friend introduced him...”

Samantha Tate blinked her eyes, suddenly a spark of hope appeared in them!

She came from the Barbaric Wilderness Realm, unfamiliar with the Immortal Domains. The only ones she knew at the Divine Wood Palace and who cared about her were probably only Carson Flores and Shirley Miller.

Could the visit of this Saint Heir from the Treasure Path Sect be on their behalf?

Rafael Gibbs smiled and said, ”You’ll know the reason when you meet him.”

”Yes, Master!”

Samantha Tate followed Jericho James to Evan Foster’s small residence, where the maidens announced her arrival, and Evan Foster emerged from the house.

”Saint Heir Foster, hello!”

Evan Foster smiled warmly and greeted, ”Miss Samantha, please come in, please come in.”

Samantha Tate entered the courtyard, and as Jericho James was about to follow, Evan Foster smiled and stopped him, ”Elder Jericho, I’d like to chat with Miss Samantha alone, if that’s convenient?”
