Three Towers Game

Therefore, Wen Xishu can boldly experiment, and his experimentation indeed yields results.

Upon hearing this, Clara understands:

”I’m sorry! I shouldn’t have tested you!”

Wen Xishu chuckles:

”Who am I?”

Clara doesn’t quite grasp this question.

Wen Xishu repeats once more:

”I, am, who.”

He doesn’t have a questioning tone, as if he’s testing Clara.

Clara is now in a dubious state regarding his thinking.

”Why is he asking me this? Doesn’t he know who he is? He’s Ethan... no, he couldn’t possibly ask such a superficial question.”

”Oh... right, he’s retaliating against me because I just tested him; now he’s testing me.”

”Makes sense.”

With that thought, Clara says:

”You are the manager within the organization and can even replace me.”

Wen Xishu smiles enigmatically:

”Good, I won’t replace you, but you’ll need to perform well.”

Clara immediately latches on:

”Whatever you want me to do... anything is possible.”

Wen Xishu pushes Clara away in annoyance:

”Do you think, as a Destructive, finding a woman is a very difficult task for me?”

Clara lowers her head:

”I understand, sorry, I won’t arrange for those killers anymore... But if you need me to guide them out of this area, I can do that.”

Wen Xishu is still considering how to entice Clara into revealing more about the ”organization.”

He already knows the ”organization” indeed exists.

This organization is probably specialized in scamming ”NPCs” and ”players.” In a sense, it has a considerable historical impact.

”Recently, a special existence has emerged, affecting some regions, although they are all lower-level sectors. I’m here to tell you...”

”To keep a lower profile, act more cautiously, and don’t get targeted by that guy. Do you know his level is constantly rising?”

Clara is confused:

”I don’t get it, who are you talking about?”

Wen Xishu says:

”A person who doesn’t follow the rules, or rather, doesn’t get constrained by the rules. He’s a ’player,’ but can use violence, and his strength is formidable, not inferior to an Ability User, and knows about our existence. Once he finds us, he will kill us.”

Clara shivers.

”Is there really such a person? Can he... use violence?”

Wen Xishu nods solemnly, yes, some friends know him, I am.

”Once killed by him, you’ll lose the protection of cyclical power, and we will no longer be Destructives. Death means actual death. What’s terrifying is, that guy always manages to anchor that piece of history, and we can’t penetrate it.”

Clara is terrified:

”No wonder you turned up; I’ve been wondering why the organization hasn’t issued instructions for a long time.”

Wen Xishu realizes this is a key piece of information.

”Yes, the organization hasn’t issued instructions for a long time because it requires a cost, you know the cost, right?”

Clara nods and then shakes her head:

”This is related to those Otherworldly People, those ’players.’ In their world, it seems there are many hierarchical levels here, and high-level ’players’ can bring about a rank change ability for the organization’s managers.”

”Of course, this is only what I knew when I was recruited into the organization... I don’t know more specifics.”

Clara hopes to use this to show her importance. After all, if not important, she wouldn’t have been recruited initially.

Wen Xishu received quite a bit of information.

First, the organization does indeed exist.

Second, the organization has a ”messaging” ability.

Third, the organization also has the ability to ”replace Destructives,” like turning Ethan into a Destructive, canceling Clara’s original Destructive status.

But now, the organization seems to have lost this ability because using this ability requires ”consumables.”

This consumable item is presumably a cost.

The consumables are likely related to players climbing the tower and those capable of reaching above level seventy.

Wen Xishu suddenly recalls...

Evelyn from the Five Elders stopped climbing the tower for some reason. Could this be related?

In a sense, the appearance of Sagittarius makes it so no players can enter above level seventy in the Desire Tower...

This instead cuts off the Destructive organization’s ”ability supply chain.”

Wen Xishu finds it rather intriguing.

”I know Destructives are related to Pisces; Destructives are likely the handiwork of Pisces.”

”And the emergence of Destructives greatly subverts original history. The appearance of players increases the possibility of Destructives overturning history.”

”After all, normal players find it hard to defeat Destructives because they can’t use violence like me.”

”In this situation, high-level Destructives along with players... might make the original Three Towers War very chaotic. Everyone’s fate paths might constantly change, potentially affecting the Deceit Tower.”

”The emergence of Sagittarius can greatly weaken Pisces!”

Sometimes, if you stand on the human side, you’ll feel Sagittarius is unbearable, cutting off all players daring to climb above level seventy.

But if you switch sides, you’ll find Sagittarius limits Destructives.

Generally speaking, the absence of Sagittarius’ intervention benefits the Bunker more.

Wen Xishu thinks about this as he chats with Jin Zaimin in the Deceit Tower.

In the Obsession World.

Jin Zaimin, even in his obsession state, still remembers Destructives, which suggests Destructives left a deep impression on him.
