Three Towers Game

”I’m not entirely sure what this thing does, but perhaps... one of its functions is fusion. Like merging the two parts of Little Jin into one.”

”Based on my experiences in the Deceit Tower, the Heart of Fusion seems capable of resolving a problem, and that is, when multiple people merge, who becomes the dominant will of the fusion body.”

”I don’t know if I’m explaining it clearly, but imagine when Xun Hui and Senior Wenren merge, who actually dominates the body? Is it a completely new will, or does Xun Hui control the body? Or maybe does Senior Wenren dominate it?”

”I suspect the Heart of Fusion can solve this issue.”

”Initially, the Heart of Fusion was in the possession of the kind Xiaojin, but for some reason, Xiaojin passed it on to three people from Magic City.”

”During a journey, I went to Magic City and found the Heart of Fusion at a place called Good People Hall.”

Albert understood:

”So Xiaojin attacked you... because of the Heart of Fusion? When he said ’give it back’, did he mean you took something from him?”

Wen Xishu sighed:

”It seems now that the Gemini simulated by Xiaojin differs greatly from the actual Gemini.”

”I am not sure why Xiaojin is so special, possessing such a capability, but there might be issues with every constellation he imitates. This ability is unstable.”

”The real Gemini, divided into two, trust each other.”

”But the Gemini produced by Xiaojin seem to have some issue that caused them to oppose each other.”

”The Heart of Fusion can determine the dominant will, so the evil Xiaojin, upon sensing the presence of the Heart of Fusion, immediately suppressed the good within and attacked me.”

”He wanted to obtain the Heart of Fusion to become the dominant will, to merge with the other Little Jin and control the fusion body.”

Albert was astonished, surprised at both the truth and the amount of information Wen Xishu could gather.

This kid has a natural flair for interrogation.

Wen Xishu said:

”I’m thinking, Mr. Jin kept having Evelyn dilute Xiaojin’s memories, trying to change Xiaojin’s core... to make Xiaojin become a good person...”

”Perhaps in hope that, in the future, the merged Xiaojin could also be a good person.”

Albert immediately asked:

”So Xiaojin trying to kill you... has nothing to do with Old Jin, right?”

Wen Xishu nodded:

”It had nothing to do with it. It all happened in a timeline that led me to misjudge. But now… this issue has been resolved.”

”The next thing to solve is how to dismantle Xiaojin’s malice and figure out what Xiaojin truly is.”

”Why he can mimic those constellations, what his existence means... is all for what purpose.”

Wen Xishu hasn’t given up on seeing Mr. Jin as a ”villain.”

In his view, Liu Zhizai substituted for Mr. Jin’s death, and then Xun Hui and Senior Wenren died on the seventieth floor…

All these could be blamed on Mr. Jin.

But he also tried, thinking from the principal’s perspective, if Mr. Jin wanted a win-win strategy?

He loves Longxia more, but what if he loves the Bunker too?

Albert nodded:

”It has nothing to do with Old Jin, that’s good… thank you. I know what some choices entail, but even knowing, making that choice is too hard.”

”Luckily, I don’t have to choose for now.”

”But why do the puzzles of Old Jin and Xiaojin seem to grow the more we solve them?”

Wen Xishu said:

”When the truth is near, there is a process where everything seems entangled and unclear.”

”But I believe that as long as we keep climbing the tower, we will solve the mysteries.”

Albert knew that Wen Xishu was about to start climbing the tower again.

...

...

Xiaojin was quickly taken away.

Albert’s punch, even though restrained, still brought Xiaojin to the brink of death.

Wen Xishu did not inquire how the old principal managed to break the State of No Self with one punch.

He speculated that the principal’s punch was somewhat akin to Sagittarius’s archery, containing a part of the Law of Causality, ensuring it would hit once taken.”

Of course, these were just his guesses.

Someone like Albert seemed immeasurable no matter how powerful one imagined him to be.

Wen Xishu had another problem to solve at the moment.

”I should also climb the tower, but unlike the Slaughter Tower, how can I... team up with the seven death row inmates?”

Once the seven-colored feather pen is used, it must ensure at least seven deaths.”

The best way is to arrange for the seven worst, irrefutable death row prisoners waiting for execution to team up with him.

But the Deceit Tower doesn’t yet have a stable, effective teaming tool.

Wen Xishu felt a headache coming.”

Of course, he could gamble, betting that in the upcoming journey through the Deceit Tower, he would inevitably be allocated to a checkpoint with no less than seven people.”

”What a hassle.”

By now, Wen Xishu had returned to the office of the Deceit Tower Academy.

The big gathering at the Three Towers Academy not long ago left teachers and students speculating whether something big had happened at the school.”

Wen Xishu paid little attention to these rumors.”

”His current problem was either to not use the seven-colored feather, thus not having to worry about being less than seven people.”

But not using this fully functional death note was too much of a waste.”

This problem troubled Wen Xishu for a while.”

However, soon after, he suddenly had a flash of inspiration and thought of a solution.”

”How foolish of me to forget such a useful thing!”

As soon as the solution for overcoming a shortage of seven players came to him, Wen Xishu was filled with excitement.

He no longer hesitated and directly took out the login device.”

A new round of tower climbing commenced.”
