After Gender Transformation, I Was Adjusted by the System into the Demon Queen’s Strongest Maid

Watching ‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‍her subordinates rush about, Camilla turned around, her back facing the massive crater.

The ‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‍afterglow of the setting sun fell upon her tattered long dress, stretching her shadow into a long silhouette.

That ‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‍figure was filled with desolation, filled with bleakness, filled with… a tragic sense of resolute acceptance of death.

“Lilia…”

Camilla ‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‍murmured softly, “You heartless little thing, you sure left quickly. When Her Majesty arrives, I’ll go down to accompany you.”

“When we get down there, remember to save me a good spot. Even if it’s in an oil cauldron, we can still keep each other company.”

“After all, in this entire Demon Realm, the only opponent worthy of my attention, Camilla, was you, you little fox.”

Just as Camilla was immersed in her self-moving grief, preparing to compose a deeply touching eulogy for Lilia—

Inside the Bedchamber Hall.

“Achoo!”

Lilia, who was lying on the large bed, suddenly let out an earth-shattering sneeze without any warning.

The sneeze was so forceful that it directly blew away a peeled grape that Hera had just brought to her lips.

The grape flew straight and hit Hera’s black night robe, leaving behind a patch of pale purple stain.

The air instantly froze.

Lilia stiffly looked at the stain, then at Hera’s expressionless face.

“Th-that…” Lilia shrank her neck, trying to muddle through by acting cute, “If I say… someone is cursing me behind my back, would you believe it?”

Hera lowered her gaze, looking at the stain on her chest, then at the one wrapped in the blanket like a hamster.

She said nothing, only slowly pulled out a wet wipe from beside the bed and wiped her fingers.

Her movements were elegant, yet carried a scalp-tingling sense of danger.

“Cursing you?”

Hera raised an eyebrow, the corner of her lips curling into a playful arc, “I doubt it.”

“Maybe someone thinks you’re dead and is busy setting up a memorial for you.”

Lilia: “???”

What kind of grudge is that?!

Before Lilia could react, Hera had already leaned down, her breathtaking face closing in to an extremely dangerous distance.

Their breaths intertwined.

“You dirtied my clothes.”

Hera’s voice was low and husky, carrying a hint of alluring magnetism, “Tell me, how are you going to compensate?”

Looking at those golden eyes so close at hand, the inappropriate thoughts in Lilia’s mind instantly exploded.

Compensate?

With what?

“Th-that… I-I have a cleaning spell from the system rewards…” Lilia was still making a dying struggle.

“No need.”

Hera grabbed Lilia’s wrist as she tried to form a hand seal, pressing her firmly onto the pillow.

“Compared to cleaning spells…”

Hera lowered her head, her warm lips brushing faintly against Lilia’s sensitive earlobe.

“I prefer another way of cleaning.”

That night.

As for whether it was “cleaning,” or something else entirely…

Only the moon hanging at the edge of the sky knew.

……

Far away in the Dark Moon Canyon, Camilla suddenly felt her nose itch.

She rubbed it, looking at the ruins gradually being filled with white roses, her eyes slightly reddened.

“Lilia, you must go peacefully…”

What the worried Camilla didn’t know was that the person she was solemnly mourning was currently thousands of kilometers away, on a luxurious large bed, engaging in some indescribable “cleaning activity” with the Demon Queen she feared the most…

……

This sleep was too deep.

Lilia felt as if she were floating among clouds, or soaking in a pool of warm milk, every pore of her body relaxing in this extreme comfort.

“Mm…”

A satisfied murmur escaped from her nose as she subconsciously wanted to stretch and roll on the soft bed to celebrate this rare natural awakening.

However.

The moment the brain issued the command, the body’s response was like rusted gears that hadn’t turned for eight hundred years—

Creak, creak, creak.

That was the lament of her bones.

“Hiss—!!!”

The motion of stretching froze mid-air. Lilia sucked in a cold breath, her facial features instantly twisting into a mask of pain.

It hurt.

Especially her waist.

“Damn it…”

Lilia clenched her teeth, tears nearly bursting out.

What exactly happened last night?

Fragments of memory before she lost consciousness flashed through her mind.

The destructive meteor, the collapsing canyon, Camilla’s shocked face, and… Hera’s dangerous gaze, along with that phrase—“clean it up.”

She propped her hands against the bed sheets, struggling like a dying moth to push herself up.

Regardless of whether she had been “cleaned” or something else last night, the top priority now was to run!

If her Master did it again, she wouldn’t even talk about surviving.

“Up… up…”

Lilia’s face turned red as her arms trembled.

Just as she finally managed to prop her upper body halfway up—

A slender shadow silently enveloped her.

That oppressive presence—without even looking up, every hair on Lilia’s body stood on end.

“Awake?”

Like a rusty machine, Lilia slowly lifted her head bit by bit.

Hera was standing by the bed.

“M-Master!”

Lilia jolted.

She hurriedly tried to crawl out of the blankets to bow, but overestimated the strength of her waist.

“Thud.”

Her barely lifted upper body went limp, and she collapsed face-first back into the pillow.

Like a salted fish that had lost its dreams.

A soft laugh sounded above her head.

Immediately after, a warm sensation came from the back of her neck.

Lilia felt her feet leave the ground—no, her shoulders leave the bed.

She was lifted up by Hera with one hand, then turned smoothly and placed into a slightly cool embrace.

“Why are you moving around.”

Hera casually set the wine glass on the bedside table, her other hand naturally wrapping around Lilia’s waist—right at the spot where it hurt the most.

Yet that palm seemed to carry some special magic. Warm currents seeped in slowly, and the almost unbearable soreness miraculously eased quite a bit.

Lilia stiffened, shrinking in Hera’s embrace, not daring to breathe loudly.

This position… was too strange.

Right now, she was like an oversized Human Body Pillow, held within the arms of the supreme Queen of the Demon Realm.

The unique cold fragrance from Hera instantly enveloped her, overwhelmingly invasive, slipping through her nose into her lungs, leaving no room for refusal.

“Still hurts?”

Hera lowered her head, her chin faintly brushing against the top of Lilia’s head.

Lilia trembled all over and stammered, “N-no… it doesn’t hurt anymore… thank you, Master…”

Though she said it didn’t hurt, tears still lingered at the corners of her eyes.

Hera’s fingers around her waist tightened slightly, and Lilia immediately let out an unreserved “Ah.”

“Your physical condition is this poor. A single Forbidden Spell can make you lie here until now—if word got out, even I would feel embarrassed.”
